  • Oct 13, 2026XPTI (Xen Page Table Isolation) was introduced to mitigate Meltdown (CVE-2017-5754, one aspect of XSA-254).CVE-2026-79609 · Other software · Xen · reported by security@xen.orgHigh 8.8

XPTI (Xen Page Table Isolation) was introduced to mitigate Meltdown (CVE-2017-5754, one aspect of XSA-254). This involves copying 64-bit PV guest page table entries from guest-chosen root page tables to the Xen- chosen one which is in actual use by hardware. To read the guest root page table, the directmap is used. PV guests, however, have a directmap which may not cover all memory; in particular this is the case if any memory extends beyond the 5 TiB (CONFIG_BIGMEM=y: 3.5 TiB) address boundary.

The CakeResponse::download() method in lib/Cake/Network/CakeResponse.php constructs a Content-Disposition header by directly interpolating a caller-supplied filename into a quoted-string value without sanitization. Two distinct injection vectors exist in the unpatched code. First, if the filename contains C0 control characters (CR or LF), PHP refuses to emit the entire Content-Disposition header, silently dropping the attachment disposition. The response body is then served with its own Content-Type (for example text/html for an .html attachment) and renders inline in the browser on the application origin, creating a stored cross-site scripting condition. The commit message notes this is reachable even when the download_attachments_on_load setting is enabled, meaning a victim merely needs to view a page that triggers the download. Second, a double-quote character in the filename terminates the quoted-string value early, permitting injection of additional Content-Disposition parameters. The affected code path covers all callers of CakeResponse::download(), including attribute downloads, proposal downloads, and restSearch exports. • Sep 29, 2026virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments.CVE-2026-102938 · Other software · pypa · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.7.11, PyEnvCfg.write() writes prompt values verbatim to the line-oriented pyvenv.cfg format while PyEnvCfg._read_values() parses the file with str.splitlines() and accepts the last value for duplicate keys. An attacker who influences --prompt, VIRTUALENV_PROMPT, or configuration input can insert a recognized line boundary and additional keys, including home, causing consumers to use an attacker-selected base interpreter or corrupted environment metadata. The security impact requires prompt input from outside the operator's trust boundary; directly supplied prompt content primarily corrupts the operator's own environment. This issue is fixed in version 21.7.11.

  • Sep 29, 2026virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments.CVE-2026-102937 · Other software · pypa · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3

virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.7.12, BatchActivator.quote() returns prompt text unchanged before activate.bat inserts it into a cmd.exe set "VAR=value" statement. An attacker who influences --prompt, VIRTUALENV_PROMPT, or the corresponding configuration value can include a double quote that closes the assignment and leaves following cmd.exe operators as executable syntax. When a user activates the generated Windows environment, the injected commands run with that user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 21.7.12.

  • Sep 29, 2026virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments.CVE-2026-102930 · Other software · pypa · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.7.12, download_wheel() accepts pip and setuptools seed wheels fetched for periodic updates or the --download option without checking their bytes against an authoritative digest equivalent to the embedded wheels' BUNDLE_SHA256 verification. A compromised index, stale mirror, or intercepted TLS connection can substitute a different wheel under the requested distribution, version, and filename, after which virtualenv caches and seeds the attacker-controlled wheel into subsequently created environments. The verification applies to the default PyPI path and is intentionally skipped when PIP_INDEX_URL, PIP_EXTRA_INDEX_URL, or PIP_INDEX configures a custom index that may legitimately publish rebuilt wheels. This issue is fixed in version 21.7.12.

  • Sep 29, 2026virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments.CVE-2026-102925 · Other software · pypa · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.7.13, the generated activate (bash and zsh) and activate.fish scripts place values already escaped by shlex.quote inside an additional quoted context. In the bash and zsh script, a crafted virtual environment path reaches __VIRTUAL_ENV__ when a relocated environment's recorded directory is absent; in the fish script, crafted Tcl or Tk library paths reach __TCL_LIBRARY__ or __TK_LIBRARY__. The surplus quotes can terminate the data-only quoted run and leave shell metacharacters parsed as commands when a user sources the activation script, allowing code execution with that user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 21.7.13.

  • Sep 29, 2026Apache Airflow's Snowflake provider did not validate the connection's `account` and `region` fields before interpolating them into request URLs.CVE-2026-81930 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.3

Apache Airflow's Snowflake provider did not validate the connection's `account` and `region` fields before interpolating them into request URLs. The SQL API endpoint is built as `https://{account}.snowflakecomputing.com/api/v2/statements`, so an `account` value containing `/`, `?` or `#` demotes the intended domain to a path, query or fragment and leaves the attacker in control of the request host. The provider sends that request with an `Authorization: Bearer` header carrying a JWT minted from the connection's private key, or the configured OAuth or programmatic access token. A user who can edit the Snowflake connection but cannot read its secrets — Airflow gives connection-configuration users write-only access to stored credentials, and a `private_key_file` lives on the worker rather than in the connection — can therefore cause a valid token for the account to be delivered to a host of their choosing and replay it against the genuine Snowflake endpoint. No Dag-authoring ability is required: the attacker edits the connection and waits for an existing Dag to use it. The same unvalidated value was also used to build the OAuth token-request URL and the Cortex Agent base URL. Affect

  • Sep 29, 2026Apache Airflow's Google provider built Google Drive search expressions by interpolating file and folder names directly into single-quoted string literals, withoCVE-2026-81914 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 4.3

Apache Airflow's Google provider built Google Drive search expressions by interpolating file and folder names directly into single-quoted string literals, without escaping the quote character that delimits them. A name containing an apostrophe therefore terminated the literal early and appended clauses of the attacker's choosing to the query. The names are frequently not written by the Dag author. In a wildcard `gcs_to_gdrive` transfer they come from the source bucket listing, so anyone able to create objects in that bucket controls them — typically an external data producer or an ingest-only service account, a different trust principal from the Dag author. An injected clause can broaden the match and so steer which file or folder the hook resolves: an upload can be directed into a folder the attacker named, and, because downloads select the most recently modified match, a download can return a file they placed rather than the one the Dag asked for. Affects deployments passing externally-sourced names to the Google Drive hook, including wildcard `gcs_to_gdrive` transfers from buckets writable by less-trusted principals. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow-providers-go

  • Sep 26, 2026Budibase (@budibase/server) before 3.45.0 builds MySQL and MSSQL column-rename DDL in packages/backend-core/src/sql/sqlTable.ts by interpolating identifiers dirCVE-2026-100683 · Other software · budibase · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.9

Budibase (@budibase/server) before 3.45.0 builds MySQL and MSSQL column-rename DDL in packages/backend-core/src/sql/sqlTable.ts by interpolating identifiers directly into a raw query string (backtick-quoted for MySQL, a single-quoted sp_rename literal for MSSQL) without applying the project's quoteMySqlIdentifier / quoteSqlServerIdentifier helpers. An attacker with DDL rights on a connected MySQL/MSSQL datasource can create a column whose name contains a backtick (MySQL) or single quote (MSSQL) plus additional SQL; Budibase's schema introspection stores the name verbatim, and when a Budibase builder later renames that column through the UI (POST /api/tables with _rename.old), the embedded quote character terminates the identifier and the injected SQL is executed. Because the MySQL connection is opened with multipleStatements: true, stacked statements run as Budibase's datasource user, allowing arbitrary reads, writes, or destructive operations on the connected database outside Budibase's row/table permission model. Fixed in 3.45.0.

  • Sep 26, 2026SiYuan before v3.8.4 does not HTML-escape stored flashcard block content before interpolating it into the card-manager list markup.CVE-2026-100641 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

SiYuan before v3.8.4 does not HTML-escape stored flashcard block content before interpolating it into the card-manager list markup. Block content returned by /api/riff/getRiffCards is inserted into a card item template in app/src/card/viewCards.ts and assigned to listElement.innerHTML, so content such as <img src=invalid onerror=...> becomes an executable event-handler attribute. Because the SiYuan desktop (Electron) main window is created with nodeIntegration enabled and contextIsolation disabled, an administrator who opens the card manager on a workspace containing attacker-supplied flashcard content (for example introduced through contribution or import) executes the attacker's script in a privileged renderer, which can lead to arbitrary code execution on the host. The affected endpoint remains behind authentication and administrator-role checks; this is an untrusted-content-to-privileged-renderer issue, not an authorization bypass.

BerriAI LiteLLM before 1.101.0-rc.1 contains a tenant isolation bypass vulnerability in the semantic cache layer that allows authenticated users to read other tenants' cached responses by exploiting a metadata key mismatch between _get_semantic_cache_tenant_scope() and _get_metadata_variable_name(). Attackers holding a valid virtual key can submit semantically similar prompts on affected routes such as /v1/responses and /bedrock/* to retrieve cached responses containing other tenants' personally identifiable information, financial data, or source code, and can cause agentic front-ends to auto-execute attacker-supplied tool calls under victim credentials by returning cached function_call or tool_calls payloads to a different principal.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix REG INVARIANTS VIOLATION on speculative pointer arithmetic Take the following unprivileged program as an example: r0 = bpf_map_lookup_elem(...) /* PTR_TO_MAP_VALUE, offset 0 */ ... 14: r0 += r1 /* r1 is a bounded scalar */ 15: r9 = r0 Loading it triggers a verifier warning from reg_bounds_sanity_check(): verifier bug: REG INVARIANTS VIOLATION (alu): const subreg tnum out of sync with range bounds r64={.base=0x0, .size=0x0} r32={.base=0x0, .size=0xffffffff} var_off=(0x0, 0x0) What happens: 1. Processing insn 14 (r0 += r1) in adjust_ptr_min_max_vals(), the new offset is computed into dst_reg's var_off and 32/64-bit ranges. 2. Because pointer registers do not track 32-bit subregister bounds, __mark_reg32_unbounded() first sets r32 to the full range; r32 is re-derived from the offset at the end of the function by reg_bounds_sync(). 3. On the unprivileged path, sanitize_ptr_alu() is called and, via sanitize_speculative_path() -> push_stack(), snapshots the current register state and schedules the next instruction (insn 15) to be verified directly as a speculative path. 4.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-iolatency: clear delay state when freeing policy data io.latency can throttle a group which has no latency target of its own. When a sibling misses its target, check_scale_change() scales down its peers, and a peer that reaches queue depth one gets blkcg_use_delay() called on it on every further scale-down, even with min_lat_nsec == 0. iolatency_pd_offline() resets the target through iolatency_set_min_lat_nsec(), which clears the delay only on a nonzero to zero transition, so it never clears such a peer. Freeing the policy data then leaves blkg->use_delay set and blkcg->congestion_count elevated with nothing left that can drop it. blk_cgroup_congested() then returns true for every task in that cgroup and its descendants for as long as the cgroup lives: page_cache_sync_ra() cuts readahead to a single page, page_cache_async_ra() skips it altogether, and __folio_throttle_swaprate() takes swap_avail_lock and schedules a throttle on anonymous folio allocation. Clear the delay in iolatency_pd_free(). By then bio-held blkg references have drained, or the queue is frozen for policy deactivation, so check_scale_c

Improper input validation in Snowflake CLI versions prior to 3.27.0 allowed unsanitized user-controlled values to be interpolated into SQL strings that are executed as multi-statement queries. An attacker who is able to supply a malicious project configuration file or craft command-line input can cause Snowflake CLI to execute attacker-controlled SQL statements in the context of the victim's Snowflake session and active role. Successful exploitation requires either write or pull-request access to a project repository whose CI/CD pipeline runs Snowflake CLI under an elevated service account role, or the ability to supply untrusted input to CLI-wrapping automation. Impact is limited by the privileges held by the configured Snowflake role at execution time. The fix is available in Snowflake CLI version 3.27.0, which also addresses several additional security findings. Users must manually upgrade.
