  • Oct 13, 2026Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) protection in the UrlImageConverter component of Apache Fesod (Incubating) fesod-sheet 2.0.2-incubating can be bypassed throuCVE-2026-107460 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.1

Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) protection in the UrlImageConverter component of Apache Fesod (Incubating) fesod-sheet 2.0.2-incubating can be bypassed through DNS rebinding. When an application accepts an attacker-controlled image URL for spreadsheet writing, the converter checks the hostname's resolved IP addresses and then opens a separate connection that can resolve the hostname again. An attacker who controls DNS responses for the URL hostname may cause the connection to reach a restricted address after validation. CVE-2026-49328 covers SSRF in releases before 2.0.2-incubating; this issue is a DNS rebinding bypass of the protection in 2.0.2-incubating. Apache Fesod (Incubating) 2.1.0-incubating addresses the reported default-fetch scenario by disabling remote URL image fetching by default and requiring an explicit exact-host allowlist when the feature is enabled. Users should upgrade to 2.1.0-incubating. Applications enabling remote URL image fetching should allowlist only hostnames whose DNS and HTTP services are trusted.

HTTP/2 servers could end up crashing due to inadvertently modifying its HPACK encoder concurrently. This happens because the server modifies the HPACK encoder from two goroutines without synchronization: one uses the encoder to encode a HEADERS frame as part of a response sent to a client and the other modifies the encoder's table size when handling a SETTINGS frame containing SETTINGS_HEADER_TABLE_SIZE that a client sends. A malicious client can repeatedly send a request while changing the header table size to crash the server.

An integer underflow in WinCursorShapeUtils::trimTransparent() in GlavSoft TightVNC Server for Windows before 2.8.88 allows a local authenticated user to crash the server, and potentially read out-of-bounds memory, by causing a cursor shape with a width or height of zero to be processed on the DXGI capture path. The loop bound width - 1 wraps to 0xFFFFFFFF, producing an access roughly 4 GB beyond the 64 KB cursor buffer; a monochrome cursor of height 1 also becomes 0 because getCursorHeight() halves the height in place.

A user who can open a fork pull request can place workflow content with a shared run-level concurrency group into a Gitea Actions run that is awaiting approval. When a later run in that group cancels the blocked job, the run becomes terminal while still marked as needing approval. If a maintainer later approves the run, Gitea passed the already-cancelled job back through concurrency preparation, set it to waiting, and made it claimable by a matching runner, executing fork-controlled workflow code. Exploitation requires the maintainer's later approval action, Actions to be enabled, and a runner that accepts the repository's jobs.

When a Gitea Actions run was inserted, older runs in the same workflow-level concurrency group were cancelled without checking whether the new run still needed approval. Because fork pull request runs are inserted under the base repository, a user who can open a pull request from a fork could cancel trusted in-progress runs that share a concurrency group with `cancel-in-progress` enabled, without approval and without running any code. On self-hosted runners this can interrupt deployments and leave partial state behind.

Issue summary: The first concurrent use of the same X.509 certificate by several threads may cause its cached extension data to be freed while another thread is still using it. Impact summary: A remote, unauthenticated peer could crash a multi-threaded TLS client, or a multi-threaded TLS server that requests client certificates, if the first certificate chains built to the same trusted CA certificate are built by several connections at the same time. This is a use-after-free read, which is likely to crash the process, resulting in a Denial of Service. CWE: CWE-416: Use After Free Description: OpenSSL caches the decoded values of a certificate's X.509v3 extensions inside the X509 object the first time they are needed. In OpenSSL 4.0 this cache is built in two phases: the extension values are computed while holding a read lock on the certificate, and the results are then installed into the certificate under a write lock. Because a read lock does not exclude other readers, several threads can compute the cache for the same certificate at the same time. Each thread that subsequently acquires the write lock installs its own results and frees the values installed by the thread before

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: don't let rds_conn_shutdown() consume a concurrent drop rds_conn_shutdown() finishes by moving the path from RDS_CONN_DISCONNECTING to RDS_CONN_DOWN, and also accepts RDS_CONN_ERROR as the starting state of that final transition, so that a FIN processed in softirq context during the teardown does not derail the shutdown into a noisy error path. But consuming that RDS_CONN_ERROR also consumes the shutdown pass that came with it: rds_conn_path_drop() sets RDS_CONN_ERROR and then queues cp_down_w, and a pass that starts on a path already in RDS_CONN_DOWN is a no-op. For the FIN case that is harmless - the socket the FIN arrived on is the very socket the teardown just released. It is not harmless for a dropper that attached something to the path first. rds_tcp_accept_one() is such a dropper. Its path claim in rds_tcp_accept_one_path() transitions RDS_CONN_DOWN -> RDS_CONN_CONNECTING, and a concurrent drop - a FIN on a previous socket in softirq context, an administrative reset - can put the path into RDS_CONN_ERROR between that claim and the state check that follows, which accepts RDS_CONN_ERROR. The a

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix subbuf resize races with trace_pipe_raw readers Concurrent subbuffer resizes may crash trace_pipe_raw readers or leak uninitialized memory to userspace due to stale size values. Modify ring_buffer_alloc_read_page() to handle the resizing of an existing buffer_data_read_page if necessary and add a new ring_buffer_read_page_size(). This new function enables ring-buffer buffer_data_read_page users to not call the racy ring_buffer_subbuf_size_get(). This makes the spare_size member of ftrace_buffer_info redundant. Finally, handle buffer_data_read_page/reader_page order discrepancy in ring_buffer_read_page(). On a mismatch simply copy manually the data to the buffer_data_read_page.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: Bound SW TPA IDs to prevent crashes FW supports up to 1024 concurrent TPAs, so the FW TPA ID is in the range 0..1023 (see commit ec4d8e7cf024 ("bnxt_en: Add TPA ID mapping logic for 57500 chips.")). bnxt_alloc_agg_idx is intended to wrap the FW ID down to a software ID which is used to index rxr->rx_tpa, and to generate a mapping between FW IDs and the wrapped software ID. On a 57608 with firmware version 233, the firmware advertises 32 concurrent TPAs. As of the commit under fixes, bp->max_tpa on this NIC is set to 32. If the software ID from bnxt_alloc_agg_idx is above 31, this results in an invalid address being loaded on this line: tpa_info = &rxr->rx_tpa[agg_id]; because rx_tpa is allocated with only bp->max_tpa (32) entries. Writes to tpa_info later in the code are out of bounds. AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. Prior to 4.14.2, connect_tcp() and TLSStream.wrap() can validate internationalized host names after the standard library converts them with IDNA 2003 instead of IDNA 2008. When a connection to a non-ASCII domain is hijacked or redirected, an attacker can obtain a legitimate certificate for the different ASCII hostname produced by IDNA 2003 and present it to the client, causing the malicious endpoint's certificate to validate. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2.

AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. Prior to 4.14.2, AnyIO starts process-pool workers with standard error connected to a pipe that the parent never drains, even though the documented behavior redirects all three standard streams. Worker code that writes enough attacker-influenced data to sys.stderr can fill the pipe and block before returning the standard-output protocol response, causing the awaiting process-pool call to remain blocked indefinitely. • Sep 18, 2026AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio.CVE-2026-63349 · Other software · agronholm · reported by GitHubHigh 7

AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. In 4.14.0, AnyIO accepts the POSIX extra_groups argument in anyio.run_process() and anyio.open_process(), but open_process() forwards the group argument to the backend instead of extra_groups. A caller that supplies extra_groups=[] to clear inherited supplementary groups can therefore launch a child that retains the parent process groups, undermining a privilege-dropping boundary. If group is also supplied, the integer group value is passed where an iterable of supplementary groups is expected and the launch can fail with TypeError. This issue affects POSIX applications that rely on AnyIO subprocess helpers to launch less-privileged child processes. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: fix UAF when probe runs concurrent to dyn ID removal Dynamic IDs are only guaranteed to be valid when usb_dynids_lock is held, as remove_id_store can free the node. Thus, make a copy in usb_probe_interface. Clarify the documentation that the id parameter is only valid during the probe. USB serial has the same pattern, but it does not need fixing as the IDs cannot be removed via sysfs.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm: fix race when loading and unloading a table If the userspace calls two concurrent table load ioctls and one of them succeeds and the other fails, there is a race condition because dm_setup_md_queue walks &md->table_devices without any lock. If the walk races with dm_table_destroy -> free_devices -> dm_put_table_device, there is access to invalid memory. Fix this race by extending the lock over the list walk.

  • Sep 15, 2026netty-incubator-codec-ohttp implements Oblivious HTTP (OHTTP) gateway and client functionality using Netty.CVE-2026-54251 · Other software · netty · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

netty-incubator-codec-ohttp implements Oblivious HTTP (OHTTP) gateway and client functionality using Netty. Prior to 0.0.23.Final, the OHTTP gateway decryption path in codec-ohttp/src/main/java/io/netty/incubator/codec/ohttp/OHttpRequestResponseContext.java allocates a pooled direct ByteBuf for decrypted plaintext before the AEAD tag is verified. When an invalid tag causes decryptChunk() to throw CryptoException, OHttpRequestResponseContext.decodeChunk() does not release the ByteBuf because the allocation is not guarded by try/finally. Repeated invalid encrypted requests can therefore leak native off-heap memory until the gateway is unable to continue serving requests. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.23.Final.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rust: devres: fix race between concurrent revokers There is a potential race condition wheCVE-2026-89764 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rust: devres: fix race between concurrent revokers There is a potential race condition when two paths try to revoke a Devres concurrently. The driver core's devres_release_all() calls Revocable::revoke() via the release callback, while Devres::drop() calls revoke_nosync() on another CPU. The revoker that does not claim the is_available swap returns immediately, but the revoker that did may still be executing drop_in_place() on the inner data. This can cause a use-after-free when the other revoker's caller proceeds to drop adjacent resources that drop_in_place() still references (e.g., Devres<DmaMappedSgt> racing with SGTable freeing the backing sg_table and pages). Fix this by adding a Completion. The release callback signals the Completion after revoke() finishes, and Devres::drop() waits for it when it loses the is_available swap. This ensures the wrapped object is fully torn down before Devres::drop() returns.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsnotify: Fix stale object mask after concurrent mark updates When a mark gets a new eventCVE-2026-89595 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsnotify: Fix stale object mask after concurrent mark updates When a mark gets a new event bit, fanotify and inotify may avoid recalculating the object mask if the cached aggregate already contains that bit. This is racy with a recalculation triggered by a concurrent update to another mark on the same connector. The concurrent scan can read the mark before the new bit is added, while the updater reads the old aggregate before that scan publishes its result. The updater then skips recalculation and the scan publishes a mask without the bit, leaving the object mask stale after both updates complete. This can be reproduced with two fanotify groups watching the same inode: one thread removes FAN_MODIFY from one existing mark while another thread adds FAN_MODIFY to the other mark. After both fanotify_mark() calls return, writes can fail to produce FAN_MODIFY for the group whose mark now contains the bit. This was reproduced on an unmodified v6.12.95 kernel. The equivalent inotify interleaving loses IN_MODIFY events. For normal fanotify additions, recalculate whenever the raw mark mask changes. The normal mask is no

A race condition in the document value layer of MongoDB Server can allow concurrent server threads to operate on the same internal memory without synchronization, leading to memory corruption. An authenticated user holding ordinary read-write privileges on a database may be able to trigger this condition over the normal client protocol, resulting in server termination and potential corruption of process memory with user-influenced content. Successful use of this issue may impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected server process.
