KodExplorer before 4.55 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the unzip_pre_name() function within app/function/helper.function.php, where a single non-recursive str_replace() sanitization pass can be bypassed using crafted filenames like "....//", combined with PclZip's extract() call in KodArchive.class.php lacking the PCLZIP_OPT_EXTRACT_DIR_RESTRICTION option. Authenticated attackers can upload a malicious ZIP archive with traversal sequences to overwrite arbitrary files such as core JavaScript assets, enabling stored XSS that leads to admin account takeover and subsequent remote code execution via unrestricted PHP file upload.

  • Oct 8, 2026FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox.CVE-2026-107393 · Other software · freescout-help-desk · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.235, when APP_CLOUDFLARE_IS_USED is enabled, FreeScout trusts an unvalidated CF-Connecting-IP header during failed login attempts and stores the spoofed value in the activity log. LogsMonitor inserts the value into an administrator alert email without HTML escaping, allowing injected HTML to execute when an administrator opens the email. • Oct 8, 2026The Linux live-update apply helper (hmailserver-update) of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 runs as root on a request file written by the unprivileCVE-2026-104658 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.8

The Linux live-update apply helper (hmailserver-update) of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 runs as root on a request file written by the unprivileged hmailserver service account, and took from that request the program used to verify an AppImage update's signature and the systemd unit to stop before reading the service account's files. An attacker who already runs code as the hmailserver service account, for example through another flaw in the mail server, can therefore have arbitrary code executed as root, on any Linux installation where the live update's path unit is active - the default for the project's .deb and .rpm packages - and on AppImage installations run under that unit.

Joomla Extension - ordasoft.com - Unauthenticated Destructive CRUD in OrdaSoft Touch Slider < 5.4.6 - modOsTouchSliderHelper::getAjax(), wired through Joomla’s core com_ajax dispatcher, is the single handler behind every data-management operation this module exposes. No call to JFactory::getUser(), authorise(), or a CSRF token check exists anywhere in the handler. Two confirmed impact paths: an unauthenticated GET deletes any slider image by guessable sequential IDs, and an unauthenticated multipart upload with a zip file renames and replaces the entire #__os_touch_slider/#__os_touch_slider_text tables site-wide with attacker-supplied content, with no task parameter even required for the second path.

  • Oct 6, 2026WeasyPrint helps web developers to create PDF documents.CVE-2026-106443 · Other software · Kozea · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

WeasyPrint helps web developers to create PDF documents. Prior to 70.0, the image-loading path in weasyprint/images.py passes fetched image bytes from HTML img URLs, CSS image values, SVG image references, and data URIs to Pillow's generic image dispatcher without excluding EPS or PostScript formats. On hosts with Ghostscript installed, Pillow EpsImagePlugin invokes the interpreter for attacker-controlled PostScript, which can produce interpreter-permitted effects and can lead to remote code execution when the installed Ghostscript version has a usable sandbox bypass. Hosts without Ghostscript do not reach this rasterization path. This issue is fixed in version 70.0.

In Progress® Telerik® Fiddler® Classic for Windows, versions prior to v6.0.20262.10021, the integrity check applied to the external helper tools launched by the application is insufficient. Before executing a helper tool, the application only verifies that the file carries a valid Authenticode signature whose certificate subject name matches a broad allow list of publisher name fragments, rather than verifying that the file is the specific executable shipped with that version of the product. A local threat actor with low privileges who replaces one of these helper executables with any other validly signed binary from an allow-listed publisher can cause the substituted binary to be executed by the application, including with Administrator privileges for the tools that request elevation, resulting in privilege escalation and execution of unintended code. Successful exploitation requires the user to launch the affected external tool and to approve the elevation prompt without noticing that it refers to a different executable.

oRPC is a tool that helps build APIs that are end-to-end type-safe and adhere to OpenAPI standards. Prior to 1.14.10, the @orpc/zod ZodSmartCoercionPlugin and experimental_ZodSmartCoercionPlugin collect object and record properties in plain objects and resolve shape keys through the prototype chain. A remote client that can reach a procedure with an object or record input can supply __proto__ to replace the prototype of the returned request object, allowing attacker-controlled inherited values to reach application lookups. For object schemas, keys such as constructor, toString, and __proto__ can instead resolve inherited members as Zod schemas and cause an unhandled TypeError before validation. The global Object.prototype, unrelated objects, other requests, and other users are not modified, and the availability effect is limited to crafted requests rather than persistent process-wide state. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.10.

oRPC is a tool that helps build APIs that are end-to-end type-safe and adhere to OpenAPI standards. Prior to 1.14.9, the @orpc/json-schema SmartCoercionPlugin uses JsonSchemaCoercer to collect object properties in a plain object and to resolve schema.properties entries through the prototype chain. A remote client that can reach a procedure with an object input schema can supply __proto__ to replace the prototype of the single coerced request object, or supply Object.prototype member names such as constructor and toString so inherited values are treated as sub-schemas and pass the coercer's satisfaction check. Attacker-controlled inherited properties can consequently affect handler, Object.assign, or configuration lookups, while legitimate __proto__ properties are dropped. The global Object.prototype, unrelated objects, other requests, and other users are not modified, and downstream schema validation still runs. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.9.

In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, NTRU reduced secret values with the % operator in three helpers whose reference implementations are deliberately division-free, so each reduction was carried out by an integer division whose latency depends on the secret operand. Polynomial.modQ divided by a variable divisor, which a compiler cannot strength-reduce to a multiply the way it can a constant one, so it emitted a division on every call including on the decapsulation path where the dividend derives from the private key; Polynomial.mod3 and NTRUSampling.mod3 divided the secret key polynomials f and g during key generation, the message polynomials r and m during encapsulation, and coefficients recovered during decapsulation. An attacker able to measure that timing can recover information about the NTRU private key. modQ now masks, which is exact because q is always a power of two, and mod3 uses the reference implementation's division-free fold and select; the results are unchanged.

The Awesome Support – WordPress HelpDesk & Support Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'gdpr-data' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.4.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by Subscriber-level users against other accounts because the AJAX handlers accept an arbitrary gdpr-user ID without verifying it belongs to the requester, and the required wpas-gdpr-nonce is emitted via wp_localize_script to every logged-in user on frontend plugin pages and on /wp-admin/profile.php.

  • Sep 28, 2026The CoAP link-format helper match_path_uri() in subsys/net/lib/coap/coap_link_format.c compares a registered resource path against the URI carried in a Uri-QuerCVE-2026-18416 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.7

The CoAP link-format helper match_path_uri() in subsys/net/lib/coap/coap_link_format.c compares a registered resource path against the URI carried in a Uri-Query href= option. That URI is not NUL terminated, but the inner character loop advanced its index k once per path character without ever testing it against the option length len. When a registered path segment is longer than the supplied URI and the URI is a prefix of it, the loop reads uri[len] and beyond, past the end of the option value. The path is reached from coap_well_known_core_get_len() and coap_well_known_core_get() via match_queries_resource(), i.e. by any unauthenticated GET /.well-known/core?href=/<prefix> request to a device that serves /.well-known/core (for the CoAP server subsystem, CONFIG_COAP_SERVER_WELL_KNOWN_CORE, default y) and has at least one resource that declares struct coap_core_metadata attributes. The over-read does not reach the receive buffer. The well-known-core builders parse the query into a stack-local struct coap_option, whose value is a fixed array (value[12], or CONFIG_COAP_EXTENDED_OPTIONS_LEN_VALUE bytes) that the option bytes are copied into, so uri points into that copy. • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-84465 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, when Zammad checks the digital signature on an incoming S/MIME-signed email, it does not verify that the signing certificate is genuinely trusted, it only checks whether a certificate with a matching name is already stored in the system. An attacker can create their own certificate using the name of a real, previously trusted sender and use it to send a forged email. Zammad will display that email with the same "validly signed" indicator as a genuine message from the real sender, even though the attacker never had access to that sender's actual certificate or private key. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, zammad's External Data Source feature, used to look up records from an external system, did not properly verify whether a user was allowed to see a specific ticket, user, group, or organization before including its details in a request to that external system. An authenticated user, including one with only basic customer access, could exploit this by referencing another record's ID, and thereby view details of tickets, customer accounts, teams, or organizations that did not belong to them. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

  • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-84463 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, a user with Knowledge Base editing rights for a category can embed a video widget in a published answer with a specially crafted value. When the answer is rendered, that value is inserted into the page's HTML without being escaped for its attribute context, allowing it to break out and inject additional HTML into the page. When another user who has permission to switch between user sessions views the affected answer, the injected HTML causes their browser to silently send a request to Zammad's session-switching endpoint using their own active credentials. This results in switching their session to an account chosen by the person who wrote the Knowledge Base answer. No action is required from the viewer beyond opening the published answer. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, the two-factor login step let an attacker try unlimited password guesses for any account without triggering Zammad's normal lockout or rate limiting. The response also revealed whether a guess was correct, even before two-factor authentication was checked. This made it possible to brute-force weak or reused passwords. • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-84458 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, when the "Automatic account link on initial logon" setting is enabled, Zammad binds an incoming third-party (SSO) identity to an existing local account by matching the email address the identity provider reports, without verifying that the provider actually confirmed ownership of that email. An attacker who controls any identity at a configured provider, including, by default, any Azure AD tenant via Zammad's multi-tenant Microsoft 365 /common app registration, can set that identity's email to a victim's address, authenticate, and be logged in as the victim. This bypasses the victim's local password entirely and affects any existing account, including agents and administrators. Zammad will honor the xms_edov ID token claim when email verification is required in the Microsoft 365 setting, treating a missing claim as unverified. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, unsanitized option labels are rendered in the configuration dialogs of AI Agents within Zammad's admin UI. When rendering the list of selected options, the option label is output as raw HTML without escaping. An attacker who can control an option label, for example by setting a malicious string as a user or organization name used in a relation attribute, or by supplying a crafted custom attribute option value, can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript. The payload executes in the browser of any admin or agent who opens the affected object attribute configuration view. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, when a Microsoft Graph request fails, Zammad logs the error including the authentication token used to access the mailbox. The system attempts to hide this token in the log, but the masking is incomplete: for the token format Microsoft uses (JWT), only the first part is hidden, while the remaining parts remain readable in plain text. A Zammad admin with Microsoft Graph channel access can view these logs and see the partial token, which may reveal sensitive claims such as the account scope, tenant, or timing, and could assist in reconstructing the full token while it is still valid. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

  • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-63206 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, zammad's HTML sanitizer, which blocks remote images in ticket articles and email views, can be bypassed using a shortened URL format that omits the double slash after the scheme (for example a shortened HTTP URL instead of a shortened HTTP URL). Modern browsers treat both forms as equivalent remote URLs. As a result, an attacker who sends a crafted email or ticket can cause the recipient's browser to silently load an image from an external server, revealing when and by whom the ticket was opened. Zammad's "remote content blocked" warning is not shown because the sanitizer does not recognize the shortened form as remote. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

  • Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-63205 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, when creating or updating an email signature, Zammad processes inline images referenced in the signature body. If a signature body contains an HTML img tag pointing to any existing attachment, the system copies that attachment into a new signature-owned record, without checking whether the user has permission to access the original attachment. The newly created copy is then downloadable by the same channel-admin user, because attachment access is determined by the copy's owner (the signature), not the original object (e.g., a ticket or knowledge-base article). This allows a user with any of the admin.channel_email, admin.channel_google, admin.channel_microsoft365, or admin.channel_microsoft_graph permissions to read attachments they would otherwise be denied access to, such as ticket attachments belonging to groups they are not a member of. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. In 7.0.3 and 7.1.1, under certain conditions, Zammad's verification of inbound PGP-signed email can mark a message as carrying a valid ("Good") PGP signature from a registered sender key, even though the displayed message content is not actually covered by that signature. Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.1.2, a security filter that protects Zammad's AI Agent configuration can be bypassed by entering specially crafted text into one of an AI Agent's fields. An administrator with permission to create or edit AI Agents could exploit this to run arbitrary commands on the server that hosts Zammad, potentially reading, modifying, or destroying all data stored on that server. Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. In 7.0.2 and 7.1.0, zammad's session management for websocket and long-polling connections is susceptible to a path traversal attack. Session identifiers supplied by the client are insufficiently validated before being used to construct internal file paths. When the file-based session store is active (the default configuration), an authenticated attacker can manipulate the session identifier to reference locations outside the intended storage directory, leading to the deletion of arbitrary files and directories on the server. Exploitation requires only a low-privilege authenticated session and a single crafted request. Instances configured to use the Redis-based session store are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 7.0.3 and 7.1.1.
