  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: serialize security confirmation handling rfcomm_security_cfm() looks upCVE-2026-89569 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: serialize security confirmation handling rfcomm_security_cfm() looks up a session on session_list and then walks its DLC list without holding rfcomm_mutex. Since RFCOMM session teardown uses rfcomm_mutex, krfcommd can close and free the same session and DLCs concurrently: hci_rx_work krfcommd ----------- --------- rfcomm_session_get() rfcomm_lock() rfcomm_session_close() rfcomm_dlc_unlink() rfcomm_session_del() kfree(s) rfcomm_unlock() walk s->dlcs The callback can then read a freed session list head and touch freed DLCs while updating their flags or timers. Serialize the session lookup and DLC traversal in rfcomm_security_cfm() with rfcomm_mutex. This matches the existing RFCOMM session lifetime rules and prevents concurrent rfcomm_session_del() / rfcomm_dlc_unlink() from tearing the objects down while the callback is using them. The script interpolates the unauthenticated GET parameter u (which is not covered by $securityFilter) directly into an <img src="..."> attribute without URL- or HTML-encoding. A remote attacker can craft a link containing a double-quote character in u (with a non-empty key parameter and no valid c parameter) to close the src attribute and inject an additional tag with an onerror handler, executing arbitrary JavaScript in the site's origin in the browser of any user, including an administrator, who opens the link. Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in the OrderConfirmController at GET /order/confirm/{order_number} in Roskus Prospero Flow CRM before 5.15.11 allows an unauthenticated attacker to confirm any order on behalf of an authenticated user by directing them to a crafted page. Laravel's VerifyCsrfToken middleware enforces CSRF tokens only on POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE requests; the Route::get declaration leaves this state-changing action unprotected. Session cookies configured with SameSite=Lax are automatically included in top-level cross-site navigation, so a single link click triggers OrderConfirmController::confirm() and transitions the target order from pending to confirmed without user authorization. Because order numbers are sequential integers, an attacker can enumerate and confirm all existing orders in a single automated sweep.

  • Sep 4, 2026Nightingale (n9e), as of commit 8362cbe (main branch, confirmed 2026-08-27), contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the isPublicIP function in CVE-2026-85692 · Other software · ccfos · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

Nightingale (n9e), as of commit 8362cbe (main branch, confirmed 2026-08-27), contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the isPublicIP function in aiagent/tools/http.go, the SSRF guard for the http_fetch AI-agent tool. The function only unwraps standard IPv4-mapped (::ffff:a.b.c.d) IPv6 addresses before checking them against the forbidden-range list, and does not classify 6to4 (2002::/16), NAT64 (64:ff9b::/96, 64:ff9b:1::/48), or deprecated site-local (fec0::/10) addresses. On a dual-stack or NAT64-enabled host, an attacker able to supply a URL to the http_fetch tool can bypass the guard by encoding a forbidden IPv4 address (such as the cloud instance-metadata endpoint 169.254.169.254) in one of these IPv6 forms to reach internal or metadata services.

Robots::Validate versions from 0.3.2 before 0.3.11 for Perl allow unbounded outbound DNS queries per validation via a forward-confirmation loop that does not bound the names it queries. _check_dns issues one PTR query for the client address, keeps the returned names matching the rule's domain, and issues a forward query for each until one resolves back to that address. Nothing bounds that list, and a client controls the reverse zone for its own address, so it chooses how many names the PTR answer holds. Net::DNS refetches a truncated answer over TCP by default, so the 512-byte UDP payload does not cap it either. Any client whose User-Agent matches a rule with a domain reaches _check_dns. Each forward name is distinct and client-chosen, so every query misses the local cache and is resolved against the authoritative servers for that domain. The queries are synchronous, so the caller is held until all of them answer or time out.

Joomla Extension - j2commerce.com - Unauthenticated PayPal callback forgery leading to order confirmation fraud in J2Store 1.0.0-3.3.21, 4.0.0-4.0.21, 4.1.0-4.1.6 - The PayPal IPN listener's signature check (`_validateIPN()`) accepted `UNVERIFIED` and any non-`INVALID` response as valid, made its verification request with `CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER` disabled, and stored its verdict in a field nothing downstream ever checked — so processing continued regardless of the outcome. Separately, the paid-amount comparison only ran when `mc_gross` was a positive number; omitting the field from the POST body (`floatval(null) == 0`) skipped the check entirely. Combined with a merchant-configured `receiver_email` and a sequential, enumerable order id read from the `custom` field, an anonymous POST was enough to move a pending order straight to `CONFIRMED` with no payment, or force another customer's pending order to `FAILED`. `paypalv2.php` performed no amount check under any circumstances.

  • Sep 1, 2026Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash discloses the stored value of a confirmed field to an actor who faCVE-2026-82739 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash discloses the stored value of a confirmed field to an actor who fails its confirmation check. Ash.Resource.Validation.Confirm's atomic implementation (atomic/2 in lib/ash/resource/validation/confirm.ex) built the mismatch error with its value set to the field being confirmed. When the actor supplies only the confirmation argument and not the field itself, value resolves through atomic_ref/2 to the field's current stored value, so the mismatch error echoes that stored value back to the actor. Against a confirmation guarding a sensitive attribute, an actor can submit a deliberately wrong confirmation and read the real value from the returned error. The fix reports the actor-supplied confirmation in the error instead of the stored field value. This issue affects ash: from 2.17.20 before 3.32.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: fix qentry overwrite for CONFIRM_LINK and ADD_LINK_CONT in smc_llc_event_handler() The SMC_LLC_CONFIRM_LINK / SMC_LLC_ADD_LINK_CONT branch in smc_llc_event_handler() stores an incoming qentry into the local LLC flow without first checking whether a qentry is already pending. If a malicious or buggy peer sends a second CONFIRM_LINK or ADD_LINK_CONT request while a flow is active and flow->qentry is already set, smc_llc_flow_qentry_set() overwrites the pointer without freeing the previous allocation, leaking one kmalloc-96 object per spurious message. The sibling SMC_LLC_DELETE_LINK branch already has the correct !flow->qentry guard. Apply the same guard to the CONFIRM_LINK/ADD_LINK_CONT branch so that a duplicate message when qentry is already occupied falls through to break and is freed by the kfree(qentry) at the out: label, rather than silently leaking the existing allocation. The response direction (smc_llc_rx_response()) is unaffected: it already guards with flow->qentry at the equivalent site and drops duplicate responses correctly.

Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to redeem one confirmed on-chain payment for multiple paid-resource accesses. The type="hash" credential path in MPP.Methods.Tempo.verify/2 guards against replay with a non-atomic check-then-mark sequence: check_hash_unused/2 reads the dedup store, an eth_getTransactionReceipt round trip verifies the payment on chain, and only then does mark_hash_used/2 write the mark. Concurrent requests carrying the same settled payment hash all pass the read before any of them writes, so each is issued a receipt. The store's atomic check_and_mark/2 primitive is available and used by the type="transaction" path, but the hash path calls plain get and put even when the configured store implements it. Exploitation requires a dedup store to be configured; the default nil store is stateless and documented as offering no replay protection at all. This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.6.1.

  • Aug 17, 2026SWE-agent's trajectory inspector (sweagent inspector), confirmed in v1.1.0, is an HTTP server that joins request paths to the trajectory directory in its /trajeCVE-2026-75482 · Other software · SWE-agent · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

SWE-agent's trajectory inspector (sweagent inspector), confirmed in v1.1.0, is an HTTP server that joins request paths to the trajectory directory in its /trajectory/ handler without rejecting parent-directory ('..') references, bypassing the built-in path sanitization. The server binds all interfaces (0.0.0.0), applies wildcard CORS, and requires no authentication. An unauthenticated network client (or a malicious web page via CORS) can use path traversal sequences to read files outside the intended directory. Because the read sink parses targets as trajectory JSON, disclosure is constrained to JSON files shaped like a trajectory, which can contain repository contents, command output, and secrets/API keys.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conncount: prevent connlimit drops for early confirmed ct Commit 69894e5b4c5e ("netfilter: nft_connlimit: update the count if add was skipped") introduced a regression where packets for valid connections are dropped when using connlimit for soft-limiting scenarios. The issue occurs when a new connection reuses a socket currently in the TIME_WAIT state. In this scenario, the connection tracking entry is evaluated as already confirmed. Previously, __nf_conncount_add() assumed that if a connection was confirmed and did not originate from the loopback interface, it should skip the addition and return -EEXIST. Skipping the addition triggers a garbage collection run that cleans up the TIME_WAIT connection. Consequently, the active connection count drops to 0, which xt_connlimit mishandles, leading to the false rejection of the perfectly valid new connection. Fix this by replacing the interface check with protocol-agnostic state checks. We now skip the tree insertion and preserve the lockless garbage collection optimization only if the connection is IPS_ASSURED. This allows early-confirmed setup packets

  • Aug 12, 2026An authorization bypass vulnerability in Vulnerability-Lookup allowed inactive or unconfirmed accounts to subscribe to Server-Sent Events (SSE) streams through CVE-2026-73405 · Other software · vulnerability-lookup · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

An authorization bypass vulnerability in Vulnerability-Lookup allowed inactive or unconfirmed accounts to subscribe to Server-Sent Events (SSE) streams through the /pubsub/subscribe/<topic> endpoint. The token_required decorator used by the Pub/Sub interface authenticated requests solely by matching the X-API-KEY header against an existing user API key. Unlike the REST API authentication mechanism, it did not verify the account's is_active and is_confirmed state. Because the self-registration process issues an API key before account confirmation is completed, an attacker could create an account and immediately use the resulting API key to access Pub/Sub topics that should only be available to active, confirmed users. This could expose stream events that would otherwise be inaccessible through the REST API, including newly submitted or not-yet-moderated data such as comments. The vulnerability results from inconsistent authorization enforcement between the REST API and the SSE streaming interface. The patch corrects the issue by requiring accounts to be both active and confirmed before permitting access to Pub/Sub streams, bringing the SSE authorization boundary in line with

  • Jul 30, 2026The MMS BER decoder contains a boundary-handling flaw in the processing of certain fields within confirmed-request messages.CVE-2026-63550 · Other software · MZ Automation GmbH · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govHigh 7.1

The MMS BER decoder contains a boundary-handling flaw in the processing of certain fields within confirmed-request messages. When a crafted BER-encoded element is received over an established MMS session (TCP port 102), the decoder may advance its internal read position incorrectly, leading to a heap out-of-bounds read. This condition causes the MMS handling process to terminate unexpectedly, resulting in a denial-of-service.

A vulnerability in the Agent Development Kit (ADK) allows for continuation forgery in tool confirmations. An attacker who is able to manipulate or inject events into the session history can execute unauthorized tools by forging a tool confirmation response. This is possible because the framework did not verify if the target tool was registered to the executing agent, did not validate if the tool actually required confirmation, and did not match the confirmation arguments against the original tool call event in the history.

Apache Traffic Server updates the HTTP/2 HPACK dynamic table before confirming the header block encoded successfully, so an encode failure leaves the encoder out of sync with the peer decoder and corrupts subsequent header blocks on the connection. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 8.0.0 through 8.1.11, from 9.0.0 through 9.2.14, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.15 or 10.1.4, which fix the issue.

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: avoid leaking pre-allocated openowner on unconfirmed retry race When find_or_alloc_oCVE-2026-53394 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: avoid leaking pre-allocated openowner on unconfirmed retry race When find_or_alloc_open_stateowner() encounters an unconfirmed owner, it calls release_openowner() and sets oo = NULL. Control then falls through past the `if (oo)` guard -- which would have freed any pre-allocated `new` -- and unconditionally executes `new = alloc_stateowner(...)`. If `new` was already allocated on a prior iteration, the pointer is silently overwritten and the previous allocation (slab object + owner name buffer) is leaked. This requires a race: two NFSv4.0 OPEN threads with the same owner string, where a concurrent thread inserts a new unconfirmed owner into the hash between retry iterations. The window is narrow but repeatable under adversarial conditions. Fix by adding `goto retry` after `oo = NULL` so the already-allocated `new` is reused on the next iteration rather than overwritten.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_queue: do shared-unconfirmed check before segmentation Ulrich reports a regression with nfqueue: If an application did not set the 'F_GSO' capability flag and a gso packet with an unconfirmed nf_conn entry is received all packets are now dropped instead of queued, because the check happens after skb_gso_segment(). In that case, we did have exclusive ownership of the skb and its associated conntrack entry. The elevated use count is due to skb_clone happening via skb_gso_segment(). Move the check so that its peformed vs. the aggregated packet. Then, annotate the individual segments except the first one so we can do a 2nd check at reinject time. For the normal case, where userspace does in-order reinjects, this avoids packet drops: first reinjected segment continues traversal and confirms entry, remaining segments observe the confirmed entry. While at it, simplify nf_ct_drop_unconfirmed(): We only care about unconfirmed entries with a refcnt > 1, there is no need to special-case dying entries. This only happens with UDP. With TCP, the only unconfirmed packet will be the TCP SYN, those a
