  • Sep 15, 2026The OpenTelemetry Collector Contrib repository contains components for the OpenTelemetry Collector.CVE-2026-55701 · Other software · open-telemetry · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

    The OpenTelemetry Collector Contrib repository contains components for the OpenTelemetry Collector. Prior to 0.151.0, the githubreceiver validates the receiver/githubreceiver/config.go RequiredHeaders configuration at startup, but receiver/githubreceiver/trace_receiver.go handleReq() does not check those headers on incoming webhook requests. An unauthenticated sender can therefore bypass an operator's required_headers authentication control and submit arbitrary webhook payloads. When the Secret field is empty, github.ValidatePayload also skips HMAC validation, leaving the webhook endpoint without either configured authentication mechanism. Successful exploitation can inject fabricated CI/CD trace data into the observability pipeline. This issue is fixed in version 0.151.0.

    OpenZeppelin Contracts Wizard is a web application to interactively build a contract out of components from OpenZeppelin Contracts. Prior to @openzeppelin/wizard 0.10.11, @openzeppelin/wizard-cairo 3.0.1, @openzeppelin/wizard-stellar 0.6.2, and @openzeppelin/wizard-stylus 0.3.1, the setInfo code path prints info.securityContact and info.license verbatim into single-line comments in generated Solidity, Cairo, Stellar/Soroban, and Stylus source. A line terminator ends the comment and causes following input to be emitted as source declarations. Exploitation requires an integration to populate these fields from untrusted input and a user to consume the generated source; normal self-service web, AI assistant, CLI, and self-hosted API use does not cross that trust boundary, shared links cannot set the fields, and no code executes on a Wizard service. This issue affects generated-source integrity only and is fixed in versions 0.10.11, 3.0.1, 0.6.2, and 0.3.1 of the respective packages.

  • Sep 14, 2026Description Three separate mechanisms allowed a web page on an unrelated origin to read responses that Storm's HTTP components served to an authenticated user.CVE-2026-82438 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.1

    Description Three separate mechanisms allowed a web page on an unrelated origin to read responses that Storm's HTTP components served to an authenticated user. The Logviewer reflected the request's `Origin` header back in `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` while also sending `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true`. The published security model documents a permissive `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *` posture as accepted, which is safe precisely because browsers refuse to honour `*` together with credentials; reflecting the concrete origin removes that protection. The shared CORS filter used by the UI, the Logviewer and DRPC was configured with a response header name where an initialisation parameter name was expected. The container ignored the setting and applied its own defaults, which allow credentials. Finally, the UI and Logviewer wrapped API responses in a caller-supplied JSONP callback for every GET request. A script element on any origin can load such a response, which bypasses the same-origin policy entirely rather than negotiating it, and there was no way to turn the behaviour off. In each case the effect is that a page visited by an authenticated operator can read cluster,

    NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. The `nl.nl-portal:taak` package from version 1.5.0 through 3.0.0 fails to verify ownership when processing the `submitTaakV2` GraphQL mutation, allowing an authenticated user who knows or guesses another user’s task ID to read its form data, overwrite its submitted data, and mark the task as completed. • Sep 11, 2026NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizationCVE-2026-49462 · Other software · nl-portal · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

    NL Portal Backend Libraries provide backend components for Dutch government portals that interact with residents, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations. In versions up to and including 3.0.0, deployments using the shipped default configuration exposed two GraphQL developer features without requiring authentication: the GraphiQL playground, an interactive UI for issuing GraphQL queries; and schema introspection, which lets a caller download the full description of every query, mutation, type, and argument the API supports. Anyone who could reach the `/graphiql` endpoint could open the playground in a browser, pull the full schema, and use that to map out the API and craft calls against it. By itself this does not leak user data, but it removes the guesswork from attacking the rest of the API and significantly lowers the bar for finding and exploiting other weaknesses. Version 3.0.1 patches the issue. As a workaround, override the two settings in deployed configuration.

    Snipe-IT through 8.6.4 (fixed in 8.7.0) does not enforce the components.view permission on the authenticated endpoint GET /api/v1/hardware/<asset-id>/assigned/components. The endpoint authorizes only assets.view on the parent asset before returning linked component details; the components.view check is applied only to the response's available_actions.view flag and not to the returned data. As a result, an authenticated user holding only assets.view can enumerate component IDs, names, assigned quantities, and notes that are otherwise protected — the direct GET /api/v1/components/<id> endpoint correctly returns 403 Forbidden for such users.

  • Sep 3, 2026stream-json is a micro-library of stream components for processing JSON and JSONC with a minimal memory footprint.CVE-2026-71429 · Other software · uhop · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2

    stream-json is a micro-library of stream components for processing JSON and JSONC with a minimal memory footprint. Prior to 3.5.0, the path filters pick, ignore, filter, and replace in src/core/filters/filter-base.js recompute the full path string from the nesting stack for every checkable token. Because the stack length equals the current nesting depth and a checkable token is emitted at every level, a depth D document costs O(D²) rather than O(D) to process. The issue is triggered by nesting depth rather than byte volume, including the documented pick({filter: 'data'}) traversal-until-match path, so an application that sends untrusted JSON through a string or RegExp filter can block the Node.js event loop and cause denial of service with a small deeply nested document. The streamArray, streamObject, and streamValues streamers are not affected because they use the constant-time asm.depth getter. This issue is fixed in version 3.5.0.

    MISP contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in its LDAP and LinOTP authentication components due to insufficient validation of user-supplied credentials. The custom LdapAuthenticate and LinOTPAuthenticate components replace CakePHP's FormAuthenticate implementation but did not replicate its credential validation checks. As a result, empty or non-string values could reach the underlying authentication mechanisms. In the LDAP authentication path, an attacker able to identify a valid directory user's email address could submit an empty password. The empty credential could be passed to ldap_bind(), where an LDAP server accepting unauthenticated binds may return a successful result for a valid distinguished name combined with an empty password. MISP could consequently treat the attacker as the corresponding authenticated directory user without verification of the user's password. The issue also affected the LinOTP authentication component. Invalid credential types were not rejected before being processed, and when mixed authentication was enabled, an empty password could be checked against a locally stored MISP password hash. LDAP-provisioned MISP accounts could additionally

    Filament is a collection of full-stack components for accelerated Laravel development. From 4.0.0 until 4.12.5 and 5.7.5, packages/panels/src/Auth/Pages/Login.php presents the multi-factor authentication challenge before evaluating canAccessPanel(). For an account that canAccessPanel() denies, submitting the correct password renders the MFA challenge while an incorrect password returns the generic authentication failure, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to confirm whether a candidate password is valid for that account. When email-based MFA is configured, the correct-password path also sends a login code to the account holder. The issue applies only to accounts that have MFA enabled and are denied panel access. Authentication is not bypassed because canAccessPanel() still runs after the challenge, and no session is created. This issue is fixed in versions 4.12.5 and 5.7.5.

    Filament is a collection of full-stack components for accelerated Laravel development. From 4.0.0 until 4.12.6 and 5.7.6, packages/panels/src/Auth/MultiFactor/App/AppAuthentication.php uses AppAuthentication::verifyCode() with a used-code cache key derived from both the app authentication secret and the submitted TOTP code. This isolates the newest accepted timestep by code instead of by secret, allowing a previously issued app-based MFA code to be accepted after a newer code has already been used. Reuse of the exact same code was already prevented, but another code inside the accepted time window remained usable. An attacker who obtains the target account's password and one app-based MFA code can use that code for the remainder of the configured window, which is approximately four minutes with the default settings, even after the legitimate account holder logs in with a newer code. Email-based MFA is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 4.12.6 and 5.7.6.

    Several components in Spring Security compare security-sensitive values using standard string equality (String.equals()) rather than a constant-time comparison. Because String.equals() returns as soon as it finds a differing character, the time taken to reject an incorrect value is proportional to the number of leading characters that match the expected value. The unstructured library provides open-source components for ingesting and pre-processing images and text documents, such as PDFs, HTML, Word docs, and many more. From 0.4.7 until 0.24.0, the url argument of partition, partition_html, and partition_md is fetched without host validation in unstructured/partition/auto.py, unstructured/partition/html/partition.py, and unstructured/partition/md.py. An attacker who controls that URL can make a server-side ingestion service request loopback addresses, internal HTTP services, or cloud metadata endpoints through direct targets, redirects, or DNS rebinding. The response body is returned as Element text, allowing internal response disclosure, and side-effecting GET endpoints may also be triggered. This issue is fixed in version 0.24.0.

  • Aug 18, 2026Confidential Containers Guest Components provides guest tools and components for confidential container workloads.CVE-2026-47699 · Other software · confidential-containers · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4

    Confidential Containers Guest Components provides guest tools and components for confidential container workloads. From 0.16.0 until 0.20.0, a crafted OCI image layer can make image_rs::stream::unpack::unpack() create a hardlink outside its destination directory. In image-rs/src/stream/unpack.rs, try_hardlink_fallback() validates the hardlink source but computes the destination with destination.join(&entry_rel). Rust Path::join replaces the base when entry_rel is an absolute tar entry path, so fs::hard_link(&src_canon, &dst_entry_abs) can write attacker-controlled content to an arbitrary absolute path. In Confidential Containers the workload owner already controls trusted image content, so the issue is a workload-owner escape into the pod virtual machine rather than a crossing of the image trust boundary, but it may enable access to pod virtual machine capabilities and attestation abuse. This issue is fixed in version 0.20.0.

  • Aug 13, 2026Flowise (packages flowise and flowise-components) in versions <= 3.1.2 contain a sandbox escape in the vm2/@flowiseai/nodevm JavaScript sandbox.CVE-2026-73483 · Other software · FlowiseAI · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

    Flowise (packages flowise and flowise-components) in versions <= 3.1.2 contain a sandbox escape in the vm2/@flowiseai/nodevm JavaScript sandbox. An authenticated user with access to the /api/v1/node-custom-function endpoint can escape the sandbox by supplying attacker-controlled executablePath and args parameters to puppeteer.launch(), which internally invokes child_process.spawn() outside the sandbox boundary. This allows execution of arbitrary OS commands as the Flowise process user (root in the official Docker image) and arbitrary host file disclosure via Chromium's file:// URL handling. In versions 3.0.8–3.1.2 exploitation requires ALLOW_BUILTIN_DEP=true; earlier versions are exploitable by default. Fixed in 3.1.3.

    Improper TLS hostname verification vulnerability in Apache HttpComponents Client 5.4 or newer. HostnameVerificationPolicy#BUILTIN setting has no effect when used with the async version of HttpClient. An attacker that can intercept and modify traffic between the client and the server can impersonate the server by presenting a valid certificate for a different domain.  Please note the classic version of HttpClient is not affected by this vulnerability.  Affected users are recommended to upgrade to at least version 5.6.4, which fixes the issue.
