  • Oct 14, 2026ShopMagic – email automation for: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-103367 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The ShopMagic – email automation for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.0 via the 'billing_address.first_name' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. Exploitation requires a published recipe that processes the {{ customer.first_name }} placeholder — the plugin's built-in "New Order email with social media profile links" recipe satisfies this requirement out of the box, making the default configuration exploitable with no account, cookie, or nonce by simply submitting a guest checkout with the payload as the billing first name.

  • Oct 14, 2026Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-103366 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 5.7.3 via the `booking[id]` and `cart[id]` parameters on the `steps__reload_booking_form_summary_panel` and `steps__start` public routes (reachable through wp_ajax_nopriv_latepoint_route_call). This is due to `OsStepsHelper::set_required_objects()` feeding raw request parameters into `set_booking_object()` and `set_cart_object()`, which call `OsModel::set_data()` and load an arbitrary booking or cart row by primary key with no ownership check — the ownership guard the vendor added for the earlier disclosure lives only inside `OsStepsHelper::load_step()` and does not cover the sibling routes or `cart[id]` at all. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate sequential booking / cart identifiers and read other customers' appointment details (service name, agent, date/time, duration, price breakdown, status) and other shoppers' pending checkout contents directly from the JSON responses.

  • Oct 14, 2026Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-100163 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.4

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 5.7.2 via the OsCustomerHelper::create_wp_user_for_customer() helper reached from the public process_step_customer() booking step. When the 'Use WordPress users as customers' option is enabled, the helper falls back from email_exists() to username_exists( $customer->email ), which matches any WordPress user whose user_login equals the victim customer's email even when that user's user_email is completely different, and links that WordPress user's ID into the victim's LatePoint customer row (only privileged roles are excluded; Subscriber is allowed). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to take over another customer's LatePoint account — accessing their bookings, service, agent, and calendar data, and having the victim customer's email overwritten with the attacker's on next login — by holding a Subscriber account whose user_login equals the victim's email and submitting an unauthenticated public booking step registration request.

  • Oct 13, 2026BP Profile Search: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-104995 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The BP Profile Search plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in versions up to, and including, 5.9 via the 'ajax_template' value parsed from the client-controlled 'bps_directory' cookie during BuddyPress AJAX directory requests. The bps_directory_ajax() filter (hooked onto bp_legacy_object_template_path and bp_nouveau_object_template_path) reads the cookie, applies only a referer-derived 'page' comparison in bps_get_directory_data() (where bps_current_page() uses HTTP_REFERER during AJAX and is therefore also attacker-controlled), and then suffixes the attacker-controlled template value with '.php' and passes it to bp_locate_template() with no basename restriction, no whitelist, and no path-traversal check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include arbitrary PHP files on the server, which can lead to remote code execution when PHP files can be uploaded or when images such as the default wordpress:php8.

  • Oct 13, 2026Membership & User Roles for WooCommerce (Automatic Role Changer): Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104767 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Membership & User Roles for WooCommerce (Automatic Role Changer) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 20260828. This is due to the `maybe_add_role_to_user()` function unconditionally re-assigning every role stored in the `dfxwcrc_foreign_roles` user meta cache without verifying that each cached role is still actively assigned by the external provider — a condition made permanent by `remember_foreign_roles()`, which merges new foreign roles into the cache but never evicts roles that have since been revoked. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to restore a previously revoked Administrator role to their own account, gaining full administrative control of the site, by triggering any role-assignment event such as completing a purchase for a role-mapped product. Exploitation requires Replace Roles mode to be enabled and the attacker's account to have previously received Administrator legitimately through a separate role-management mechanism while the plugin was active, so that `administrator` was written into the `dfxwcrc_foreign_roles` user meta cache before the external pro

  • Oct 13, 2026Bit integrations – Form Integration, Webhook, Spreadsheets, CRM, LMS & Email Automation: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104749 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Bit integrations – Form Integration, Webhook, Spreadsheets, CRM, LMS & Email Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Log Re-execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.10.6 The vulnerability exists because `IntegrationHandler::executeWithCapture()` stores raw, attacker-controlled field values — including `user_pass` and `user_email` — verbatim into `wp_btcbi_log.field_data` on anonymous front-end requests with no capability check, and `LogHandler::reexecute()` feeds that stored payload back through `Flow::execute()` inside the replaying administrator's session without validating the identity that originally produced the data, causing `RegistrationController::updateUser()` to resolve the target user ID to the administrator and write the attacker-supplied password via `wp_update_user()`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the administrator's password and fully take over the administrator account. Exploitation requires that an administrator has configured a flow mapping a user-supplied form field to the `user_pass` parameter of the WP User Registration "Update User" action, and that the administrator subsequent

  • Oct 10, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-92975 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.3 via the `create_support_user()` function. This is due to the function identifying the support account solely by matching against publicly hardcoded constants — `user_login` `'groundhogg'` and email addresses `'support@groundhogg.io'` / `'help@groundhogg.io'` — where the `in_array()` email-equality check at line 238 is not a security boundary because any user fully controls their own email value. This makes it possible for an attacker with an account whose `user_login` is `'groundhogg'` and whose `user_email` matches one of the hardcoded support constants to have that account silently promoted to administrator — and additionally to super admin on multisite when the triggering administrator holds `manage_network_options` — resulting in full site takeover. Exploitation requires a two-actor flow: the attacker must first obtain or pre-plant an account with the hardcoded credentials (possible when open user registration is enabled or another account-creation path exists), after which a legitimate administrator must invoke the s

  • Oct 10, 2026Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for: Insecure Direct Object Reference / Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-91050 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference / Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 5.7.2. This is due to the publicly reachable steps__start and steps__load_step routes accepting a params[presets][order_item_id] value that is copied verbatim into the booking object without verifying that the referenced order item belongs to the current customer, is a bundle item, is paid, or has remaining capacity — the is_bundle_scheduling() bundle discriminator is a mere !empty(order_item_id) truthiness check, and the code flow explicitly removes the customer and payment steps when this is truthy (the source even carries a TODO acknowledging the missing validation). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create approved appointments against other customers' order items and to read those customers' names, email addresses, and order codes returned in the booking confirmation.

  • Oct 10, 2026FooSales – Point of Sale (POS) for WooCommerce: Privilege escalationCVE-2026-77183 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The FooSales – Point of Sale (POS) for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in all versions up to, and including, 1.43.0. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to updating their details like email. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with FooSales Cashier-level access and above, to change arbitrary user's email addresses, including administrators, and leverage that to reset the user's password and gain access to their account.

  • Oct 10, 2026GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-104899 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.187 via the 'design_type' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. The required nonce is trivially obtainable by any anonymous visitor, as the geodir_basic_nonce value is localized to every public frontend page via the geodir_params script object, meaning no authentication, user interaction, or specific site content is required to exploit this vulnerability.

  • Oct 10, 2026Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104766 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 5.7.3. This is due to the `OsSettingsController::update()` handler iterating over attacker-supplied `settings` parameters without an allowlist of permitted setting names or values, and `OsSettingsHelper::prepare_value()` performing no role allowlist validation before persisting the `default_wp_role_for_customer` setting — a restriction that exists only in the UI dropdown and is never enforced server-side. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers holding a LatePoint role with the `settings__edit` capability (such as an agent or custom role) to overwrite the default WordPress role for new customers with `administrator`, causing any subsequently self-registered LatePoint customer account to be created with full WordPress administrator privileges. Exploitation requires that a WordPress administrator has granted the `settings__edit` capability to a LatePoint agent or custom role, and that a new customer account is registered through LatePoint after the malicious setting change is persisted.

  • Oct 10, 2026Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104725 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.9 This is due to a missing ownership and capability check on the `user` parameter within the `process_edit()` function, which allows any authenticated user with the `edit_contacts` capability to reassign a contact record's linked WordPress user ID to any arbitrary account without requiring the `edit_users` or `promote_users` capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with sales_rep-level access and above, to escalate their privileges to administrator by linking a contact to an administrator's WordPress user ID, then creating a note containing the `{auto_login_link}` replacement tag to trigger generation of a valid auto-login permissions-key URL for the administrator-linked contact, and finally visiting that URL to authenticate as the targeted administrator. The auto-login URL is stored in the note content and is readable back by the attacker via the `view_notes` and `add_notes` capabilities that the sales_rep role holds by default.

  • Oct 10, 2026Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking: Incorrect AuthorizationCVE-2026-6723 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.11.11. This is due to the appointment update REST API endpoint not restricting which fields can be modified by token-authenticated customers. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify admin-controlled fields on that appointment, including faking payment confirmation, reassigning the appointment to another user, and changing the service type.

  • Oct 10, 2026Blocksy Companion: Privilege escalationCVE-2026-107645 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Blocksy Companion plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions up to, and including, 2.1.58 This is due to the implement_user_registration() AJAX handler explicitly disabling Dokan's vendor-registration nonce check (via add_filter('dokan_register_nonce_check', '__return_false')) and then trusting an attacker-supplied $_POST['role'] value when invoking wc_create_new_customer() and wc_set_customer_auth_cookie(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to a Dokan 'seller' (vendor) account — including sites where the Dokan vendor signup is explicitly turned off — and to be auto-authenticated into that account, which grants publishing capabilities beyond those of a normal customer.

  • Oct 9, 2026Academy LMS – AI Course Builder, Quizzes, Certificates & eLearning: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104022 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Academy LMS – AI Course Builder, Quizzes, Certificates & eLearning plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to the `add_child()` function calling `add_role('academy_student')` on any existing account resolved from the attacker-supplied `email` parameter before `Store::link()` validates the guardian-ward relationship, and failing to roll back that role write when `Store::link()` returns a `WP_Error`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the `academy_guardian` role or higher to elevate any existing WordPress account — including their own — to the `academy_student` role, gaining `edit_posts` (Contributor-equivalent) capabilities and, when the student file-upload setting is enabled, `upload_files` (Author-equivalent) capabilities not granted to the guardian role. When a guardian supplies their own email address, `email_exists()` resolves to their own user ID, causing `Store::link()` to reject the self-link, but because the `add_role()` call has already executed and is never reversed, the academy_student role grant on their own account persists permanently.

  • Oct 9, 2026Redux Framework: Privilege escalationCVE-2025-14123 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.8

The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.11. This is due to the plugin saving arbitrary meta keys under a registered option name without sufficient capability checks or key allowlist / restrictions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to set an arbitrary role (e.g., Administrator) when performing a profile update if a plugin or theme using this framework has added at least one user profile field that leverages Redux_Users::set_profile/set_section/set_field.
