  • Oct 27, 2026Docker Desktop before version 4.97.0 could write third-party API keys and OAuth access tokens in cleartext to local application logs and diagnostics bundles dueCVE-2026-114409 · Other software · Docker · reported by security@docker.comMedium 5.7

Docker Desktop before version 4.97.0 could write third-party API keys and OAuth access tokens in cleartext to local application logs and diagnostics bundles due to insufficient IPC payload redaction. An attacker with read access to these files could obtain the credentials. These OAuth tokens are not Docker account tokens. Docker Desktop 4.94.0 and 4.95.0 addressed the known logging paths, but logs containing credentials can remain after upgrading. Docker Desktop 4.97.0 fixes the issue and includes cleanup of existing host logs and crash dumps.

In Eclipse ioFog Operator versions 3.8.0 before 3.9.2, TLS certificate verification is disabled when the operator contacts the Controller API and when it logs in to an external OIDC issuer. An on-path attacker can present any certificate, capture the OAuth client secret (external mode) or the Controller bootstrap admin password (embedded mode with Controller HTTPS enabled), and supply the access token the operator stores for later Controller API calls. v3.8 removed Keycloak. In Eclipse ioFog iofogctl versions 1.0.0 through 3.7.0 and 3.8.0-rc.1 through 3.9.1, the provisioning key and CA certificate returned by the Controller API are concatenated into shell commands (`edgelet provision` and `edgelet config cert` on supported releases; `iofog-agent provision` and `iofog-agent cert` on older releases) that run over SSH on a remote agent host and via a local shell. A party who can change that API response can include shell metacharacters and cause the operator's CLI to run additional commands on the agent host when the operator deploys or attaches an agent. This is fixed in version 3.9.2.

The Espressif AES driver drivers/crypto/crypto_esp32_aes.c advertises a multi-session cipher API — it hands out up to CONFIG_ESP32_CRYPTO_AES_SESSIONS_MAX (default 4) independent sessions, each carrying its own key and direction. The AES peripheral, however, has a single chip-global set of key and mode registers, and aes_begin_session() programmed them exactly once, at session start, outside the aes_lock mutex that serialises the transforms. The per-operation handlers aes_ecb_op(), aes_cbc_op() and aes_ctr_op() then ran aes_hal_transform_block() against whatever key and direction the registers happened to hold. As a result, once a second session is opened with a different key, every subsequent operation on the first session silently uses the second session's key and direction, and no error is reported. Because the key programming happened outside the lock, the correct usage pattern of "each thread does begin, then op, then free on its own session" also races: a second thread's cipher_begin_session() landing between the first thread's begin and its operation makes that operation run under the second thread's key. boneIO Black is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) on all state-changing API endpoints because it lacks CSRF tokens and does not validate Origin or Referer headers. A remote attacker can craft a malicious webpage that, when visited by a user on the internal network, sends cross-origin requests to the device. This allows the attacker to reboot the controller, toggle relay circuits, control gates and blinds, or shut down the device, causing loss of integrity and availability. A broken access control vulnerability exists in the Mautic Stats API (/api/stats/{table}). The endpoint did not enforce permissions for several internal tables: an intended administrator-only restriction was never applied, and tables without an explicit permission mapping were readable by default. As a result, any authenticated API user, including one whose role grants no permissions, could read data from these tables, including the application audit log with actions performed by all users and change details that may contain contact personal data, stored visitor IP addresses and their geolocation details, and tracked redirect URLs and their channel mappings.

  • Oct 26, 2026A path traversal vulnerability exists in the Mautic Asset API.CVE-2026-115194 · Other software · reported by security@mautic.orgMedium 6.5

A path traversal vulnerability exists in the Mautic Asset API. When creating a local asset through the API, the supplied file path is not restricted to the asset upload directory. An authenticated API user with permission to create assets can register any file that is readable by the web server process as a Mautic asset. When the asset is published, its public download URL serves the contents of that file without authentication. This allows the attacker to read arbitrary files from the server, including Mautic configuration files containing the database password, secret key, and mail (SMTP) credentials, as well as system files and any other file readable by the web server user. Exposed credentials can be used to access the database or other connected services, and anyone with the public asset URL can retrieve the file contents.

An SQL Injection vulnerability exists in the dashboard widget data API endpoint (/api/data/{type}). Chart filter parameters supplied by the client are not properly validated before they are used in the database queries that build dashboard chart data. An authenticated user with API access can exploit this to inject SQL into these reporting queries. Using blind SQL injection techniques, the attacker can read arbitrary data from the Mautic database, including contact and other marketing data and user account data with password hashes. Snipe-IT before 8.7.0 contains a missing encryption vulnerability in Api\AssetsController::store that writes plaintext into encrypted-flagged custom-field columns when callers lack assets.view.encrypted_custom_fields. Authenticated API users without that permission can create assets whose sensitive custom-field values persist unencrypted in the database, exposing them through backups, replicas, or direct database access.

  • Oct 23, 2026The app/process-api-response-headers action accepts fake Craft API response headers from any authenticated control panel user.CVE-2026-115935 · Other software · craftcms · reported by 7004884b-51e2-48e8-b4a2-5ca29e80453eHigh 8.7

The app/process-api-response-headers action accepts fake Craft API response headers from any authenticated control panel user. A non-admin user with only accessCp can place newline characters in X-Craft-Plugin-Licenses. Craft passes this value to its .env writer without removing the newlines. This lets the user insert a new attacker-known CRAFT_SECURITY_KEY into .env. After Craft loads that key, the user can forge a signed login redirect containing a Twig system() callback. This is different from the previous report. That report reads the existing key through a Twig sandbox bypass. This report replaces the key through fake API headers and CRLF injection. Fixing either source does not fix the other.

  • Oct 23, 2026A flaw in the Node.js `zlib.ZipFile` API can cause it to return bytes that do not belong to the requested entry after the local and central header validation faCVE-2026-106070 · Other software · nodejs · reported by support@hackerone.comLow 3.7

A flaw in the Node.js `zlib.ZipFile` API can cause it to return bytes that do not belong to the requested entry after the local and central header validation fails. When `zipEntry.modified` is read on an archive whose local header does not match its central directory, either directly or while compacting the archive, the validation error is caught but the parsed local header is left cached without a content offset. A later content read then returns attacker-controlled bytes from the start of the file instead of rejecting the archive, and CRC-32 verification still passes because the attacker controls the central directory CRC. A Node.js-based scanner can therefore approve different content from what another ZIP implementation extracts from the same archive. This vulnerability affects Node.js **26.x**.

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gve: fix napi_disable deadlock when attempting to disable XSK pools When disabling XSK pooCVE-2026-99048 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gve: fix napi_disable deadlock when attempting to disable XSK pools When disabling XSK pools, GVE calls the unlocked versions of napi_disable and napi_enable. However, the netdev lock has already been acquired before ndo_bpf is called because GVE supports queue management ops. Calling the unlocked versions of napi_disable/enable results in a deadlock when attempting to disable XSK pools, as the thread attempts to re-acquire a lock it already holds. Update the NAPI calls to use the locked versions. This issue was found in production.

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-crypt: reject the lmk IV mode with AEAD ciphers A "capi:" table line that pairs an AEADCVE-2026-99037 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-crypt: reject the lmk IV mode with AEAD ciphers A "capi:" table line that pairs an AEAD cipher with the lmk IV mode, for example "capi:gcm(aes)-lmk" with the integrity:28:aead option, causes an oops when it is loaded. lmk sets tfms_count to 64, but crypt_alloc_tfms_aead only allocates one transform, so crypt_setkey reads past the end of the tfms_aead array and calls crypto_aead_setkey on the values it finds there. lmk exists for compatibility with Loop-AES, which uses CBC, so refuse it with an AEAD cipher rather than allocate 64 AEAD transforms. The check cannot go in crypt_iv_lmk_ctr with the other lmk checks, because the IV constructor runs after crypt_set_key. Note that this is not a security bug because the memory corruption can only be triggered by root.

  • Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7915: disable rx napi when removing device Unloading the mt7915e module withCVE-2026-98957 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7915: disable rx napi when removing device Unloading the mt7915e module with a MT7916 triggers multiples WARN in __netif_napi_del_locked() and in page_pool_disable_direct_recycling() because the driver does not disable the napi before destroying it. This is troublesome since on MT7916 it is required to unload the module and reinsert it with a different enable_6ghz parameter to change the frequency. The system generally becomes unstable after reinserting the module. Fix it by disabling rx napi inside mt7915e itself, even through napi rx is enabled in the mt76 generic code. Disabling it in the mt76 generic code was previously attempted and reverted because napi was disabled too late and rx handlers could access freed structures. Note that the tx side is enabled and disabled by the mt76 generic code. It is disabled in mt7915_stop_hardware() since, unlike mt7915_unregister_device(), is it also called in the probe path if an error happens after rx napi is enabled.
