This commit was erroneously applied again after commit 0ab5d711ec74 ("drm/amd: Refactor `amdgpu_aspm` to be evaluated per device") removed it, leading to very hard to debug crashes, when used with a system with two AMD GPUs of which only one supports ASPM. Camaleon CMS versions 2.4.5.0 through 2.9.0, prior to commit f54a77e, contain a path traversal vulnerability in the AWS S3 uploader implementation that allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files from the web server’s filesystem. The issue occurs in the download_private_file functionality when the application is configured to use the CamaleonCmsAwsUploader backend. Unlike the local uploader implementation, the AWS uploader does not validate file paths with valid_folder_path?, allowing directory traversal sequences to be supplied via the file parameter. As a result, any authenticated user, including low-privileged registered users, can access sensitive files such as /etc/passwd. This issue represents a bypass of the incomplete fix for CVE-2024-46987 and affects deployments using the AWS S3 storage backend.

Mar 5, 2026Ubuntu Linux 6.8 GA retains the legacy AF_UNIX garbage collector but backports upstream commit 8594d9b85c07 ("af_unix: Don’t call skb_get() for OOB skb").CVE-2025-13350 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comHigh 7.1
Ubuntu Linux 6.8 GA retains the legacy AF_UNIX garbage collector but backports upstream commit 8594d9b85c07 ("af_unix: Don’t call skb_get() for OOB skb"). When orphaned MSG_OOB sockets hit unix_gc(), the garbage collector still calls kfree_skb() as if OOB SKBs held two references; on Ubuntu Linux 6.8 (Noble Numbat) kernel tree, they have only the queue reference, so the buffer is freed while still reachable and subsequent queue walks dereference freed memory, yielding a reliable local privilege escalation (LPE) caused by a use-after-free (UAF). Ubuntu builds that have already taken the new GC stack from commit 4090fa373f0e, and mainline Linux kernels shipping that infrastructure are unaffected because they no longer execute the legacy collector path. This issue affects Ubuntu Linux from 6.8.0-56.58 before 6.8.0-84.84.

Golioth Firmware SDK version 0.10.0 prior to 0.22.0, fixed in commit d7f55b38, contain an out-of-bounds read in LightDB State string parsing. OpenS100 (the reference implementation S-100 viewer) prior to commit 753cf29 contains a remote code execution vulnerability via an unrestricted Lua interpreter. The Portrayal Engine initializes Lua using luaL_openlibs() without sandboxing or capability restrictions, exposing standard libraries such as 'os' and 'io' to untrusted portrayal catalogues. An attacker can provide a malicious S-100 portrayal catalogue containing Lua scripts that execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the OpenS100 process when a user imports the catalogue and loads a chart.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zlib: fix the folio leak on S390 hardware acceleration [BUG] After commit aa60fe12b4f4 ("btrfs: zlib: refactor S390x HW acceleration buffer preparation"), we no longer release the folio of the page cache of folio returned by btrfs_compress_filemap_get_folio() for S390 hardware acceleration path. [CAUSE] Before that commit, we call kumap_local() and folio_put() after handling each folio. Although the timing is not ideal (it release previous folio at the beginning of the loop, and rely on some extra cleanup out of the loop), it at least handles the folio release correctly. Meanwhile the refactored code is easier to read, it lacks the call to release the filemap folio. [FIX] Add the missing folio_put() for copy_data_into_buffer().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix dead lock while flushing management frames Commit [1] converted the management transmission work item into a wiphy work. Since a wiphy work can only run under wiphy lock protection, a race condition happens in below scenario: 1. a management frame is queued for transmission. 2. ath12k_mac_op_flush() gets called to flush pending frames associated with the hardware (i.e, vif being NULL). Then in ath12k_mac_flush() the process waits for the transmission done. 3. Since wiphy lock has been taken by the flush process, the transmission work item has no chance to run, hence the dead lock. >From user view, this dead lock results in below issue: wlp8s0: authenticate with xxxxxx (local address=xxxxxx) wlp8s0: send auth to xxxxxx (try 1/3) wlp8s0: authenticate with xxxxxx (local address=xxxxxx) wlp8s0: send auth to xxxxxx (try 1/3) wlp8s0: authenticated wlp8s0: associate with xxxxxx (try 1/3) wlp8s0: aborting association with xxxxxx by local choice (Reason: 3=DEAUTH_LEAVING) ath12k_pci 0000:08:00.0: failed to flush mgmt transmit queue, mgmt pkts pending 1 The dead lock can be avoided by

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: Fix not set tty->port race condition Revert commit bfc467db60b7 ("serial: remove redundant tty_port_link_device()") because the tty_port_link_device() is not redundant: the tty->port has to be confured before we call uart_configure_port(), otherwise user-space can open console without TTY linked to the driver. This tty_port_link_device() was added explicitly to avoid this exact issue in commit fb2b90014d78 ("tty: link tty and port before configuring it as console"), so offending commit basically reverted the fix saying it is redundant without addressing the actual race condition presented there. Reproducible always as tty->port warning on Qualcomm SoC with most of devices disabled, so with very fast boot, and one serial device being the console: printk: legacy console [ttyMSM0] enabled printk: legacy console [ttyMSM0] enabled printk: legacy bootconsole [qcom_geni0] disabled printk: legacy bootconsole [qcom_geni0] disabled ------------[ cut here ]------------ tty_init_dev: ttyMSM driver does not set tty->port. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix devlink reload call trace Commit 4da71a77fc3b ("ice: read internal temperature sensor") introduced internal temperature sensor reading via HWMON. ice_hwmon_init() was added to ice_init_feature() and ice_hwmon_exit() was added to ice_remove(). As a result if devlink reload is used to reinit the device and then the driver is removed, a call trace can occur. The sequence is: 1. Driver load, ice_hwmon_init() gets called from ice_init_feature() 2. Devlink reload down, flow does not call ice_remove() 3. Devlink reload up, ice_hwmon_init() gets called from ice_init_feature() resulting in a second instance 4. alsa-lib versions 1.2.2 up to and including 1.2.15.2, prior to commit 5f7fe33, contain a heap-based buffer overflow in the topology mixer control decoder. The tplg_decode_control_mixer1() function reads the num_channels field from untrusted .tplg data and uses it as a loop bound without validating it against the fixed-size channel array (SND_TPLG_MAX_CHAN). A crafted topology file with an excessive num_channels value can cause out-of-bounds heap writes, leading to a crash.
