  • Jun 18, 2026Customize My Account For Woocommerce: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12136 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Customize My Account For Woocommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'sysbasics_user_avatar' shortcode in versions up to, and including, 4.3.6. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes (min_height, min_width, max_height, max_width) in the wcmamtx_get_avatar_default() function, which are concatenated unescaped into the get_avatar() extra_attr style attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Jun 18, 2026PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12098 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'embed' Episode Meta Field in all versions up to, and including, 11.16.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The embed value is stored via update_post_meta() rather than through WordPress core's post content pipeline, meaning kses-on-save filtering is never applied — even for Author-role users who would otherwise lack unfiltered_html — making this path unprotected by WordPress's standard role-based XSS mitigations.

    What to do
Affects up to 11.16.8. Update PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Jun 18, 2026Services Section Block – Showcase Service Details in Grid or Columns: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-11402 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Services Section Block – Showcase Service Details in Grid or Columns plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'link' Block Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload persists inside HTML comments in post_content, bypassing wp_kses_post sanitization at save time, and executes via both the primary service link anchor and a secondary title-wrapped anchor when the linkIn option is set to 'title'.

  • Jun 13, 2026FooGallery: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-9134 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The FooGallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'custom_attribute_key' shortcode parameter in versions up to, and including, 3.1.31 This is due to an incomplete JavaScript event handler blacklist in the foogallery_sanitize_javascript() function, which blocks only a subset of HTML event attributes (onmouseover, onmouseout, onpointerenter, onclick, onload, onchange, onerror) while permitting others such as 'onmouseenter', combined with the failure to escape the attribute key when building the gallery container HTML in foogallery_build_container_attributes_safe(). The GPTranslate – Multilingual AI Translation for WordPress: Automatically Translate Websites plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via REST API Translation Storage in all versions up to, and including, 2.31 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Jun 10, 2026Easy Image Collage: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-9019 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Easy Image Collage plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'grid[properties][borderColor]' and 'grid[images][N][attachment_url]' Parameters in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with editor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Because the memo value is stored via update_post_meta() rather than wp_insert_post(), WordPress's built-in kses and unfiltered_html protections do not apply, allowing attackers to break out of the textarea element via injected closing tags regardless of role-based content filtering.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

The Global Body Mass Index Calculator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'gbmicalc' shortcode in versions up to, and including, 1.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes in the GBMI_Calc_Widget::widget() function. Shortcode attributes are extracted directly into local variables via @extract($args) and then echoed unescaped into an HTML style attribute (height/width) and HTML body context (title), allowing attribute-breakout payloads. • Jun 6, 2026Click to Chat – WA Widget: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-7795 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Click to Chat – WA Widget plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the [chat] shortcode 'num' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.38. This is due to insufficient escaping when embedding user-supplied shortcode attribute values inside JavaScript string literals that are then placed in HTML event-handler attributes. The CCW_Shortcode::shortcode() function applies esc_attr() to the 'num' parameter (line 157), which converts single quotes to the HTML entity '. This entity-encoded value is then interpolated directly into a JavaScript window.open() call string delimited by single quotes (line 194/221), and that complete string is placed verbatim into an HTML onclick attribute in the style template files (e.g., sc-style-1.php line 6). Because browsers HTML-decode event attribute values before executing the embedded JavaScript, the ' entities are decoded back to literal single quotes at runtime, allowing the injected payload to break out of the JavaScript string context and execute arbitrary code. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that will exec
