  • Sep 29, 2026`gx_binres_theme_load()` sizes its theme buffer for the theme it was asked for, and allocates it even when the resource holds no theme with that id.CVE-2026-102729 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgMedium 5.9

`gx_binres_theme_load()` sizes its theme buffer for the theme it was asked for, and allocates it even when the resource holds no theme with that id. A theme id at or past the theme count declared by the resource gets a buffer of zero bytes. The load pass then walks past the end of the theme table, takes whatever follows as a theme header, and writes a `GX_THEME` and its tables into that zero-byte buffer.

  • Sep 29, 2026Flysystem is an open source file storage library for PHP.CVE-2026-102601 · Other software · thephpleague · reported by GitHubLow 3.5

Flysystem is an open source file storage library for PHP. Prior to 3.35.3, the default WhitespacePathNormalizer in src/WhitespacePathNormalizer.php used by Filesystem across adapters calls preg_match with the u modifier and treats both false and 0 as falsy. A path containing malformed UTF-8 causes PCRE to return false, so paths that also contain control characters bypass CorruptedPathDetected::forPath() in normalizePath(). Filesystem::write() can store such names and Filesystem::listContents() can return the raw ANSI escape sequences, allowing hidden or spoofed terminal file listings when an administrator displays them. This issue is fixed in version 3.35.3.

  • Sep 29, 2026Ghostscript for Windows is vulnerable to local privilege escalation through PostScript resource file hijacking.CVE-2026-19547 · Other software · Artifex Software Inc. · reported by cvd@cert.plHigh 7

Ghostscript for Windows is vulnerable to local privilege escalation through PostScript resource file hijacking. Due to the application searching for PostScript resource files in predictable paths under C:\\gs\\ that do not exist by default on Windows installations, combined with Windows default ACLs allowing any authenticated user to create directories at the root of C:\\, an attacker who is an authenticated local user can create the expected directory structure and plant a malicious PostScript file. When any user or service subsequently runs Ghostscript, the planted file is automatically loaded and executed with the full privileges of the Ghostscript process. This results in full compromise of Ghostscript process context, as well as running arbitrary code on the machine with Ghostscript process privileges. This issue was fixed in version 10.08.0.

The CoAP link-format helper match_path_uri() in subsys/net/lib/coap/coap_link_format.c compares a registered resource path against the URI carried in a Uri-Query href= option. That URI is not NUL terminated, but the inner character loop advanced its index k once per path character without ever testing it against the option length len. When a registered path segment is longer than the supplied URI and the URI is a prefix of it, the loop reads uri[len] and beyond, past the end of the option value. The path is reached from coap_well_known_core_get_len() and coap_well_known_core_get() via match_queries_resource(), i.e. by any unauthenticated GET /.well-known/core?href=/<prefix> request to a device that serves /.well-known/core (for the CoAP server subsystem, CONFIG_COAP_SERVER_WELL_KNOWN_CORE, default y) and has at least one resource that declares struct coap_core_metadata attributes. The over-read does not reach the receive buffer. The well-known-core builders parse the query into a stack-local struct coap_option, whose value is a fixed array (value[12], or CONFIG_COAP_EXTENDED_OPTIONS_LEN_VALUE bytes) that the option bytes are copied into, so uri points into that copy. • Sep 28, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-100371 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. In version 1.7.2, an authorization guard to Users::change_password(), was added to address a previous authorization flaw that allowed a secondary administrator (user_type=1, user_id != 1) to directly change the password of the primary administrator (user_id=1) through users/change_password/{id}. That remediation, however, protects only the direct password-change operation. It does not protect the identity attribute that password recovery actually trusts: user_email. Users::form() applies no equivalent object-level authorization check when editing the primary administrator's account, and user_email is not included in PROTECTED_FIELDS. A secondary administrator can therefore rewrite the primary administrator's email address, then drive the public password-recovery flow — which resolves the account by user_email — to receive the reset token and take over user_id=1. The result is an alternate attack path that achieves the same impact PR #1638 was intended to prevent: cross-administrator full account takeover of the primary administrator. This issue has been patched via commit 8616fa4.

  • Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-75600 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to version 17.0.9, authenticated users who are authorized to access the GraphQL api module interface of FreePBX are able to execute arbitrary shell commands. Authenticated access to the api module is required. The PBX API module's documentation generator accepts an authenticated host parameter and uses it to build a shell command. The code path validates the generated OAuth access token before execution, but it does not validate or escape host. Compromise results in authenticated arbitrary shell command execution as the FreePBX web/PBX service user (typically asterisk.). This issue has been patched in version 17.0.9.

  • Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-54710 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7, a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in the superfecta module due to unsafe inclusion of arbitrary PHP files, allowing authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server with the privileges of the web server user. Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability is rooted in the options and save_options cases in the Superfecta module's AJAX handler. The code dynamically includes PHP files from the sources/ directory based on user-supplied input. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code when combined with arbitrary directory creation (e.g., via the backup module) and file uploads that reveal full paths (e.g., via the soundlang module). This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7.

Prior to versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5, a critical vulnerability exists in the sound language upload and conversion functionality that allows an authenticated attacker to perform arbitrary file writes, leading directly to remote code execution (RCE). Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability stems from insufficient path sanitization in the file conversion process, enabling path traversal attacks that place malicious PHP files in the web server's root directory. • Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-54674 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7, users authenticated via User Control Panel (UCP) are able to execute arbitrary commands on the PBX as the webserver user (typically asterisk) using specially crafted HTTP strings. Authenticated access to UCP is required. Note that this is often more common for less-privileged users to have UCP access vs. the Administrator Control Panel (ACP) access (which is usually FreePBX higher-level administrator accounts only). Insufficient sanitization of certain URL parameters utilized by UCP did not fully account for malicious strings in these fields. This could result in binaries being executed on the host server by carefully chaining commands. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.39 and 17.0.7.

  • Sep 28, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-45562 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6, the FreePBX Music on Hold (MoH) module contains a critical security flaw that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary system commands with the privileges of the Asterisk service. Authentication with an existing FreePBX administrator account is required. The root cause lies in the fact that the module accepts a POST parameter that defines a custom Asterisk application, which is then stored in the database without any sanitization. Later, this data is written directly to the musiconhold_additional.conf configuration file without validation. Since Asterisk reads this configuration file and executes the specified application, an attacker can inject arbitrary commands that will be executed with Asterisk's permissions. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.4 and 17.0.6.

  • Sep 28, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/2 server to make the client hold up to about 16 MCVE-2026-92103 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/2 server to make the client hold up to about 16 MiB per connection in frames it should reject, consuming client memory. Mint.HTTP2.Frame.decode_next/2 in lib/mint/http2/frame.ex compares a frame with the client's max_frame_size (16,384 bytes by default) only once the whole declared payload has arrived. Until then it returns :more, and Mint.HTTP2 keeps every received byte in the connection buffer. A server can declare a frame length of up to 16,777,215 bytes and withhold the last byte, keeping roughly 1,024 times the advertised limit buffered for as long as the connection stays open. The server has to send every byte the client buffers, so there is no amplification, and the buffer stops at the 24-bit frame length limit. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.10.2.

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/2 server to exhaust memory on the client host and cause a denial of service. Mint.HTTP2 enforces the client's max_header_list_size setting only on the compressed size of an inbound header block, while RFC 9113 section 6.5.2 defines the limit on the decoded header list. An HPACK indexed field costs one byte on the wire and decodes to a dynamic table entry of up to 4 KB, and join_cookie_headers/1 in lib/mint/http2.ex copies every cookie value of a response into one new binary. A header block under the default 256 KB wire limit therefore makes the client allocate about 1 GB for a single response, and several such responses in one delivery exhaust the memory of the process that owns the connection or of the whole VM. This issue affects mint: from 1.1.0 before 1.10.2.

Obot is an open-source AI agent/MCP platform. In all versions up to and including commit d7e6970, the Docker quickstart command documented in the README starts the container listening on 0.0.0.0:8080 with authentication disabled by default. When authentication is disabled, every request is mapped to a synthetic "nobody" user that holds the Owner and Admin roles, so any unauthenticated party who can reach the exposed port obtains full administrative access to the Obot API and UI, including the ability to register and launch attacker-controlled MCP servers. Because the quickstart also mounts /var/run/docker.sock into the container, the MCP runtime backend reachable this way has access to the host's Docker control surface. The fix is documentation-only: the quickstart now enables authentication, and operators who followed the previous instructions should set OBOT_SERVER_ENABLE_AUTHENTICATION=true before exposing the host to any untrusted network.

In versions >= 9.0.0 < 9.10.1-alpha.10 and >= 8.0.2 < 8.6.91, the code-based authentication adapters (GitHub, Google Play Games, Instagram, LINE, LinkedIn, Microsoft, QQ, Spotify, WeChat, Weibo) verify the client's authorization code with the external provider on signup and on provider linking, but not when authentication data is supplied together with a username and password on the login endpoint. As a result, a low-privileged authenticated user can attach an arbitrary, unverified provider identity to their own account without the provider ever being contacted, spoofing an external identity toward application logic that trusts the linked provider ID. An attacker can also pre-hijack accounts: by claiming the provider ID of a victim who has not yet linked that provider, the victim's later legitimate sign-in with that provider resolves to the attacker's account. Only deployments configuring one of the affected code-based auth adapters are impacted. Versions 9.10.1-alpha.10 and 8.6.91 fix the issue by running the adapter's credential verification on the login and challenge endpoints and rejecting a provider identity already linked to anot

  • Sep 26, 2026Netty's HTTP/3 codec (io.netty:netty-codec-http3) versions 4.2.0.Final through 4.2.17.Final contain an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the QPCVE-2026-100662 · Other software · netty · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Netty's HTTP/3 codec (io.netty:netty-codec-http3) versions 4.2.0.Final through 4.2.17.Final contain an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the QPACK encoder-stream instruction decoder (QpackEncoderHandler, installed on the peer-initiated unidirectional QPACK encoder stream, type 0x02). The handler accepts an attacker-declared string-literal length of up to Integer.MAX_VALUE (~2 GiB) for the Name Length and Value Length fields of the "Insert With Literal Name" instruction (RFC 9204 §4.3.3), with no per-instruction or per-literal length cap and no cumulation-size limit; the existing HTTP/3 limits (maxHeaderListSize, maxUnknownFramePayloadLength, DEFAULT_MAX_FIELD_SECTION_SIZE) are not applied to this handler. A remote, unauthenticated peer with an established HTTP/3 connection to a default Netty HTTP/3 server can declare a very large literal length and then trickle fewer bytes than declared, causing the ByteToMessageDecoder MERGE cumulator to retain and grow the per-connection buffer, and ultimately triggering a large byte-array allocation. This leads to unbounded per-connection heap growth and OutOfMemoryError, resulting in denial of service. Fixed in 4.2.18.Final.

  • Sep 26, 2026Parse Server is an open-source backend server.CVE-2026-100632 · Other software · parse-community · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

Parse Server is an open-source backend server. In versions >= 9.0.0 and < 9.10.1-alpha.8, and in versions < 8.6.89, LiveQuery evaluates the protectedFields class-level permission against an incompletely resolved caller identity: the subscriber's roles are not resolved, and when a subscription does not supply its own session token the event payload is redacted against an anonymous identity even though the read was authorized against the connected user. As a result, field masks defined for a role, for authenticated users, or for a specific user are not applied, so an authenticated subscriber can receive field values that the REST API correctly withholds and can use a masked field to filter or watch a subscription. Only classes with LiveQuery enabled that define protectedFields under a role:, authenticated, or per-user group are affected; masks under the public (*) group are applied correctly. The issue is fixed in 9.10.1-alpha.8 and 8.6.89. As a workaround, additionally define the affected field masks under the public (*) group, or disable LiveQuery for classes whose class-level permissions rely on role-scoped, authenticated, or per-user protectedFields groups.

  • Sep 26, 2026Parse Server is an open source backend server.CVE-2026-100631 · Other software · parse-community · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Parse Server is an open source backend server. In versions prior to 8.6.90 and in versions from 9.0.0 prior to 9.10.1-alpha.9, the device token deduplication logic for installation records does not validate the type of client-supplied installation fields before using them to build database queries. An unauthenticated remote attacker who knows only the public application ID can submit non-string values in these fields to inject query operators, causing the deduplication cleanup — which runs with elevated privileges before class-level permissions are evaluated — to delete every device registration in the application or an attacker-chosen subset of them. No account, session token, master key, or user interaction is required. Deleted registrations cannot be recovered on the server, so push notifications cannot be delivered until every client re-registers. Any deployment that exposes the REST API to clients and uses push notifications is affected in its default configuration. Versions 8.6.90 and 9.10.1-alpha.9 fix the issue by rejecting non-string values with a client error and by scoping the deduplication cleanup to the calling application. No workaround other than upgrading is availab
