May 19, 2026Word 2 Cash: Cross-Site Request Forgery leading to Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-6395 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The Word 2 Cash plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 0.9.2. This is due to the complete absence of nonce verification on the settings save handler in the w2c_admin() function, combined with missing input sanitization before storage and missing output escaping when rendering the stored value. The w2c-definitions POST parameter is saved raw via update_option() and later echoed without escaping inside a <textarea> element. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to forge a request on behalf of a logged-in administrator, storing arbitrary JavaScript payloads that execute in the WordPress admin panel whenever the settings page is visited.

May 12, 2026Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings: Payment BypassCVE-2026-1934 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Payment Bypass via insecure user meta update in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.103 This is due to the stm_save_user_extra_fields() function updating sensitive user meta fields from POST data without verifying that the current user should have permission to modify those fields. May 4, 2026Schedule Post Changes With PublishPress Future: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5247 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.5
The Schedule Post Changes With PublishPress Future plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wrapper' attribute of the [futureaction] shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.10.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization on the wrapper attribute. The plugin uses esc_html() to escape the value, but esc_html() only encodes HTML entities and does not prevent attribute injection when the value is used as an HTML tag name in a sprintf() call. An attacker can inject event handler attributes via spaces in the wrapper value. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Since it is also possible for administrators to make this functionality available to lower-privileged users, this introduces the possibility of abuse by contributors.

May 2, 2026Geo Mashup: Time-Based SQL InjectionCVE-2026-4062 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Geo Mashup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Time-Based SQL Injection via the 'object_ids' and 'exclude_object_ids' parameters in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.18. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameters and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. The `esc_sql()` function is applied but is ineffective because the values are placed in an unquoted `IN(...)` / `NOT IN(...)` SQL context — `esc_sql()` only escapes quote characters and provides no protection against parenthesis or SQL keyword injection. Additionally, while a numeric-only sanitizer exists in `sanitize_query_args()`, it is only applied in the AJAX code path and not in the `render-map.php` or template tag code paths. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database via a time-based blind approach.

May 2, 2026Geo Mashup: Time-Based SQL InjectionCVE-2026-4061 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Geo Mashup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Time-Based SQL Injection via the 'map_post_type' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.18. This is due to the `SearchResults` hook explicitly calling `stripslashes_deep($_POST)` which removes WordPress magic quotes protection, followed by the unsanitized `map_post_type` value being concatenated into an `IN(...)` clause without `esc_sql()` or `$wpdb->prepare()`. The 'any' branch of the same code correctly applies `array_map('esc_sql', ...)`, but the else branch does not. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database via a time-based blind approach. Exploitation requires the Geo Search feature to be enabled in plugin settings.

The Geo Mashup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Time-Based SQL Injection via the 'sort' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.18. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. The `esc_sql()` function is applied but is ineffective in the `ORDER BY` context because the value is not enclosed in quotes. Additionally, while a `sanitize_sort_arg()` allowlist-based sanitizer was added in version 1.13.18, it is only applied in the AJAX code path (`sanitize_query_args()`) and not in the `render-map.php` or template tag code paths. The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 9.1.2. This is due to missing capability checks in the get_ads_access_token() and reset_experience() AJAX handlers. While the mi-admin-nonce is localized on all admin pages (including profile.php which subscribers can access), and while other similar AJAX endpoints in the same class properly check for the exactmetrics_save_settings capability, these two endpoints only verify the nonce. Apr 23, 2026ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin): Unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activationCVE-2026-5464 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The ExactMetrics – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Plugin) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized arbitrary plugin installation and activation in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.2. This is due to the reports page exposing the 'onboarding_key' transient to any user with the 'exactmetrics_view_dashboard' capability. This key is the sole authorization gate for the '/wp-json/exactmetrics/v1/onboarding/connect-url' REST endpoint, which returns a one-time hash (OTH) token. This OTH token is then the only credential checked by the 'exactmetrics_connect_process' AJAX endpoint — which has no capability check, no nonce verification, and accepts an arbitrary plugin ZIP URL via the file parameter for installation and activation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above granted the report viewing permission, to install and activate arbitrary plugins from attacker-controlled URLs, leading to Remote Code Execution.

Apr 22, 2026Short Comment Filter: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3362 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.4
The Short Comment Filter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Minimum Count' settings field in all versions up to and including 2.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization (no sanitize callback on register_setting) and missing output escaping (no esc_attr() on the echoed value in the input's value attribute). The option value is stored via update_option() and rendered unescaped in an HTML attribute context. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in the settings page that will execute whenever a user accesses that page. This is particularly impactful in WordPress multisite installations or when DISALLOW_UNFILTERED_HTML is set, where administrators are not granted the unfiltered_html capability.

Apr 17, 2026Quiz And Survey Master: Arbitrary Shortcode ExecutionCVE-2026-5797 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Quiz And Survey Master plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution in versions up to and including 11.1.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and the execution of do_shortcode() on user-submitted quiz answer text. User-submitted answers pass through sanitize_text_field() and htmlspecialchars(), which only strip HTML tags but do not encode or remove shortcode brackets [ and ]. When quiz results are displayed, the plugin calls do_shortcode() on the entire results page output (including user answers), causing any injected shortcodes to be executed. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary WordPress shortcodes such as [qsm_result id=X] to access other users' quiz submissions without authorization, as the qsm_result shortcode lacks any authorization checks.

Apr 15, 2026Coachific Shortcode: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-4005 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Coachific Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'userhash' shortcode attribute in all versions up to and including 1.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The plugin uses sanitize_text_field() on the 'userhash' parameter, which strips HTML tags but does not escape characters significant in a JavaScript string context (such as double quotes, semicolons, and parentheses). The sanitized value is then directly interpolated into a JavaScript string within a <script> tag on line 29 without any JavaScript-specific escaping (e.g., wp_json_encode() or esc_js()). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Apr 13, 2026User Registration & Membership: Open RedirectCVE-2026-6203 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The User Registration & Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in versions up to and including 5.1.4. This is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied URLs passed via the 'redirect_to_on_logout' GET parameter before redirecting users. The `redirect_to_on_logout` GET parameter is passed directly to WordPress's `wp_redirect()` function instead of the domain-restricted `wp_safe_redirect()`. While `esc_url_raw()` is applied to sanitize malformed URLs, it does not restrict the redirect destination to the local domain, allowing an attacker to craft a specially formed link that redirects users to potentially malicious external URLs after logout, which could be used to facilitate phishing attacks.

Apr 10, 2026GreenShift - Animation and Page Builder Blocks: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-4895 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The GreenShift - Animation and Page Builder Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 12.8.9 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the gspb_greenShift_block_script_assets() function. The function uses str_replace() to insert 'fetchpriority="high"' before 'src=' attributes when processing greenshift-blocks/image blocks with the disablelazy attribute enabled. Because this replacement operates on the entire HTML string without parsing, contributors can inject the string 'src=' into HTML attribute values (such as class attributes). When the str_replace executes, the double quotes in the replacement string break out of the attribute context, allowing injection of malicious HTML attributes like onfocus with JavaScript payloads. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
