Aug 8, 2026CTI-Transmute contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability caused by insufficient neutralization of Vue template expression delimiters in server-rendereCVE-2026-71502 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.1
CTI-Transmute contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability caused by insufficient neutralization of Vue template expression delimiters in server-rendered user-controlled data. An unauthenticated attacker can create a public conversion whose name or description contains a malicious Vue expression using the application's configured [[ ... ]] delimiters. User profile names may provide an additional injection vector. Although Jinja HTML escaping is applied, the resulting value is subsequently included in a DOM region compiled by Vue. Vue interprets the attacker-controlled value as a template expression rather than ordinary text. By accessing the JavaScript Function constructor from within the expression, an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the security context of the CTI-Transmute origin. The application's nonce-based Content Security Policy does not prevent exploitation because the Vue runtime compiler requires the unsafe-eval policy exception. The malicious payload is stored by the application and executed whenever another user opens an affected page, such as the public conversion detail page. The victim may be a normal user or an administrator. Successful expl

Aug 7, 2026WordPress is vulnerable to a pre-auth reflected XSS vulnerability on the login screen.CVE-2026-64638 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by support@hackerone.comHigh 8.9
WordPress is vulnerable to a pre-auth reflected XSS vulnerability on the login screen. Via a specially crafted malicious third-party website hosted by an attacker, it is possible for this to be escalated to an RCE vulnerability with conditions outside of the attackers control. This requires successful social engineering of and explicit interaction by the target victim. This issue affects all versions of WordPress. Version 7.0.3 has been released, containing a fix for the vulnerability, and as a courtesy to users on older branches the fix has been backported to all branches back to 4.7. Discovered and responsibly disclosed by [the team at pwn.ai](https://pwn.ai/).

Aug 7, 2026Nexus Repository 3 did not fully sandbox JEXL expressions used in Content Selectors.CVE-2026-17595 · Other software · Sonatype · reported by 103e4ec9-0a87-450b-af77-479448ddef11Medium 5.3
Nexus Repository 3 did not fully sandbox JEXL expressions used in Content Selectors. An account holding the nexus:selectors:create permission could construct an expression that read Java object properties not intended to be exposed to the expression engine, disclosing internal JVM class metadata such as class and classloader names. This issue does not permit method invocation, object construction, or arbitrary code execution. This has been fixed by restricting property access in the JEXL sandbox to the intended data types.

Aug 7, 2026The Code Embed WordPress plugin prior to version 2.6.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the external URL embed feature in post contentCVE-2026-48093 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
The Code Embed WordPress plugin prior to version 2.6.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the external URL embed feature in post content. The vulnerable code scans rendered content for URL embed tokens, fetches the remote URL, and inserts the remote response body into the page without output sanitization or an `unfiltered_html` capability check. This allows a Contributor attacker to submit a pending post containing an inert-looking URL token that executes attacker-controlled JavaScript when an Administrator or Editor previews or reviews the post. This is distinct from CVE-2026-2512, which affected custom field meta values up to version 2.5.1. This vector affects version 2.6 and uses the documented external URL embed feature in post content. This particular issue is patched in version 2.6.1.

Aug 7, 2026The ShareOpenly WordPress plugin prior to version 1.2.1 contains a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability caused by the absence of WordPress's `esc_url()` escaping CVE-2026-48094 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
The ShareOpenly WordPress plugin prior to version 1.2.1 contains a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability caused by the absence of WordPress's `esc_url()` escaping function on the `$url` variable before it is rendered into HTML content. This variable is constructed from `home_url( add_query_arg( array(), $wp->request ) )` and is concatenated directly into an HTML `href` attribute on every singular post or page where the plugin's sharing link is displayed. WordPress's security handbook mandates that every URL placed in HTML output must be passed through `esc_url()`, which both HTML-encodes special characters (converting `"`, `<`, `>` into their safe HTML entity equivalents) and strips dangerous URI schemes such as `javascript:` and `data:`. The omission of this function means that if the `$url` value ever contains HTML-special characters or a dangerous URI scheme — through a `home_url` WordPress filter applied by another plugin or theme, through certain web server or hosting configurations, or through future code changes — the unescaped content will be injected verbatim into the rendered HTML of every post or page on the site. Version 1.2.1 contains a patch for the issue.

Aug 6, 2026node-re2 provides RE2 regular expression bindings for Node.js.CVE-2026-71498 · Other software · uhop · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
node-re2 provides RE2 regular expression bindings for Node.js. Prior to version 1.26.1, passing a Buffer whose final bytes form a truncated (incomplete) multi-byte UTF-8 sequence could cause the native binding to read past the end of the allocated buffer while attempting to decode the final, incomplete code point. Aug 6, 2026node-re2 provides RE2 regular expression bindings for Node.js.CVE-2026-71430 · Other software · uhop · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2
node-re2 provides RE2 regular expression bindings for Node.js. Prior to version 1.25.1, the WrappedRE2::Replace function built its replacement result and passed it to V8 using ToLocalChecked without checking for the empty MaybeLocal that V8 returns when the resulting string or buffer exceeds V8's maximum string length. When a global replace uses an output amplifying replacement template, the result can grow quadratically with the input size, and once the result exceeds V8's maximum string length, the unchecked ToLocalChecked call causes a fatal, uncatchable process abort instead of a catchable exception. This issue is fixed in version 1.25.1.

TimescaleDB through 2.29.1, fixed in commit 517c13e, contains an out-of-bounds read in the Dictionary compression reverse row iterator (tsl/src/compression/algorithms/dictionary.c). The forward path validates the decoded index; the reverse path uses an assertion compiled out of release builds, leaving the 64-bit Simple8b index unvalidated and the read offset attacker-controlled. Attackers with DML access to a physical compressed relation can store a crafted datum and run a reverse-order scan. With a pass-by-value column type the out-of-bounds Datum is returned to the client as a normal column value, disclosing backend memory including the shared buffer pool, which SQL access control does not cover.

TimescaleDB through 2.29.1, fixed in commit 517c13e, contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Gorilla compression reverse row iterator that allows authenticated attackers to cause a denial of service by storing a crafted compressed datum with an internally inconsistent BitArray. FFmpeg versions from 3.0 up to, but not including, 9.0 contain an uninitialized heap memory read vulnerability in the native Screenpresso decoder (libavcodec/screenpresso.c) that allows attackers to recover sensitive memory contents by supplying a crafted SPV1 packet with a valid zlib stream that decompresses fewer bytes than the full frame requires. The screenpresso_decode_frame() function fails to validate the produced byte count before calling av_image_copy_plane() to copy the complete frame dimensions from the persistent ctx->inflated_buf buffer, causing unwritten heap memory from prior allocations or prior frames to be copied into decoded output and potentially exposing sensitive data such as userspace addresses from persistent decoding services.

Aug 6, 2026Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity vulnerability in the CSS scrubber in rrrene html_sanitize_ex allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust servCVE-2026-68749 · Other software · rrrene · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.2
Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity vulnerability in the CSS scrubber in rrrene html_sanitize_ex allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust server CPU via a long CSS declaration in sanitized HTML. The declaration regex in HtmlSanitizeEx.Scrubber.CSS.scrub/1 matches the property name with an unbounded greedy [-\w]+ followed by a mandatory :, so a long run of word characters not followed by a colon makes the engine give back one character at a time and retry the colon at every start offset. The work is quadratic in the length of the run, and no length cap is applied to the CSS handed to the scrubber. An 80 KB <style> body costs roughly 2.4 seconds of scheduler time, so a few concurrent requests saturate the BEAM scheduler pool and make the application unresponsive. The impact is CPU exhaustion only. Nothing is read, modified or disclosed. This issue affects html_sanitize_ex: from 0.3.1 before 1.4.5 and from 1.5.0-rc.0 before 1.5.3.

Aug 5, 2026TableOn – WordPress Posts Table Filterable: Blind SQL InjectionCVE-2026-18881 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The TableOn – WordPress Posts Table Filterable plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the `filter_data[comment_count]` parameter of the public `tableon_get_table_data` AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.5.1. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query — the value is split on `:` and both halves are interpolated directly into a `posts_where` SQL clause without `intval()` casting or `$wpdb->prepare()`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into the already-existing query that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database (researcher demonstrated extraction of database(), wp_users.user_login, and wp_users.user_pass).

The Translate Multilingual sites – TranslatePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 's' parameter in versions up to, and including, 3.2.5. This is due to the translate_page() function unconditionally replacing the plugin's internal #!trpst# and #!trpen# marker tokens with literal angle brackets across the entire HTML page output after WordPress has already sanitized and escaped user input — allowing the attacker to bypass WordPress's normal HTML escaping by using these tokens, which are not HTML special characters, in the search query. Aug 5, 2026The Membership Plugin – Kadence Memberships plugin for WordPress (formerly Restrict Content) is vulnerable to password reset link poisoning leading to account tCVE-2026-9273 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.3
The Membership Plugin – Kadence Memberships plugin for WordPress (formerly Restrict Content) is vulnerable to password reset link poisoning leading to account takeover in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.0. This is due to the legacy lost-password handler rc_process_lost_password_form() consuming the attacker-controlled rc_redirect POST parameter into two unvalidated sinks in legacy/includes/forms.php: wp_redirect( esc_url( $_POST['rc_redirect'] ) . ... ) at line 243, and add_query_arg( array( 'key' => $key, 'login' => ... ), $_POST['rc_redirect'] ) inside rc_send_password_reset_email() at line 306. The nonce required to reach the handler is broadcast by the public [login_form] shortcode at line 207 to any anonymous visitor. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to issue a password-reset request for any account (including administrators) whose reset email body points the victim at an attacker-controlled host carrying a valid reset key/login. When the victim clicks the link, the reset key leaks to the attacker, who can replay it against the legitimate site to complete account takeover.

In OpenStack Swift through 2.38.0, the proxy server Accept header parser contains a regular expression vulnerable to catastrophic backtracking (ReDoS). The "qdtext" pattern (?:[^"]|\\.)* allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to send a crafted Accept header that causes exponential CPU consumption in the proxy worker. A payload of 32 backslash-character pairs exceeds 30 seconds of CPU time. No authentication is required. Repeated requests can exhaust all proxy worker threads, resulting in a complete denial of service.

Aug 5, 2026The plugin provides an Admin Search page that allows users with the `edit_posts` capability to run Relevanssi searches from the WordPress dashboard.CVE-2026-15941 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The plugin provides an Admin Search page that allows users with the `edit_posts` capability to run Relevanssi searches from the WordPress dashboard. The AJAX handler accepts a URL-encoded `args` parameter, parses it into a `WP_Query`, and then passes user-controlled taxonomy query data into Relevanssi's taxonomy restriction builder. The taxonomy value is sanitized as text but is not parameterized for SQL before being interpolated into a term taxonomy lookup query. This allows an authenticated contributor-level attacker to inject SQL through the Admin Search AJAX request and execute time-based blind SQL injection against the WordPress database.
- What to do
- Update the plugin to the newest version.

VikAppointments Service Booking Calendar wordpress plugin is vulnerable to unauthenticated SQL injection due to one of the parameters that controls how the public reviews list is sorted is taken from the incoming request and used to build a database query without proper validation or sanitization. Because this value is placed directly into the query, an attacker who is not logged in can inject arbitrary SQL through a normal booking page and read data from the site's database — including sensitive information such as WordPress user credentials. No authentication or special privileges are required

Aug 1, 2026FreeRDP versions 3.28.0 and earlier contain an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the RDP6 planar RLE bitmap decoder functions planar_decompress_plane_rle and CVE-2026-67306 · Other software · FreeRDP · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
FreeRDP versions 3.28.0 and earlier contain an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the RDP6 planar RLE bitmap decoder functions planar_decompress_plane_rle and planar_decompress_plane_rle_only in libfreerdp/codec/planar.c. Only the 1-byte control byte is bounds-checked; the subsequent 0–15 attacker-declared raw bytes are read without validating that the source buffer contains them. A malicious or compromised RDP server can send a truncated planar-encoded bitmap or surface update (reachable via both the Bitmap Update PDU and RDPGFX Surface Command paths) that causes the client to read past the end of the source buffer. The issue is fixed in FreeRDP 3.29.0.
