  • Jul 21, 2026Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets.CVE-2026-47697 · Other software · Shelf-nu · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets. Shelf is multi-tenant; data is isolated per organization (workspace). Prior to version 1.20.2, several endpoints accepted entity IDs from request input and `connect`-ed / read / updated them without verifying the IDs belonged to the caller's organization. An authenticated user in Org A who knew or obtained an ID belonging to Org B could act on Org B's data across organization boundaries (a cross-tenant IDOR). A loader-only restriction on personal-workspace bookings was also bypassable via a crafted POST. Version 1.20.2 patches the issue. No known workarounds are available.

  • Jul 20, 2026RT is an open source, enterprise-grade issue and ticket tracking system.CVE-2026-44231 · Other software · bestpractical · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

RT is an open source, enterprise-grade issue and ticket tracking system. Versions prior to 5.0.10, 6.0.0 and above, prior to 6.0.3 contain an information disclosure and privilege escalation vulnerability in the REST 2.0 API. A privileged (non-administrative) user can obtain authentication credentials belonging to other users — including users with administrative privileges — and use those credentials to read data as those users via RT's feed endpoints. The same request that exposes the credentials also rotates them, invalidating previously-distributed feed URLs across the instance. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.10 and 6.0.3.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: tracepoints: fix sleep while in atomic context in btrfs_sync_file() The trace event btrfs_sync_file() is called in an atomic context (all trace events are) and its call to dput(), which is needed due to the call to dget_parent(), can sleep, triggering a kernel splat. • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Avoid NULL return from hist_field_name() on truncation hist_field_name() returns CVE-2026-64028 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Avoid NULL return from hist_field_name() on truncation hist_field_name() returns "" everywhere except the fully-qualified VAR_REF/EXPR case, where snprintf() truncation returns NULL early and bypasses the bottom NULL->"" guard. Callers don't expect NULL: strcat(expr, hist_field_name(field, 0)) at trace_events_hist.c:1758 and the strcmp() in the sort-key match loop at :4804 both deref it. system and event_name are bounded by MAX_EVENT_NAME_LEN, but the field name on a VAR_REF is kstrdup'd from a histogram variable name parsed out of the trigger string and has no length cap, so a long enough var name in a fully qualified reference can reach the truncation path. Keep the length check but leave field_name as "" on overflow.

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: tcp: do not force CLOSE on invalid-seq RST without direction check ACVE-2026-63913 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.2

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: tcp: do not force CLOSE on invalid-seq RST without direction check An unintended behavior in the TCP conntrack state machine allows a connection to be forced into the CLOSE state using an RST packet with an invalid sequence number. Specifically, after a SYN packet is observed, an RST with an invalid SEQ can transition the conntrack entry to TCP_CONNTRACK_CLOSE, regardless of whether the RST corresponds to the expected reply direction. The relevant code path assumes the RST is a response to an outgoing SYN, but does not validate packet direction or ensure that a matching SYN was actually sent in the opposite direction. As a result, a crafted packet sequence consisting of a SYN followed by an invalid-sequence RST can prematurely terminate an active NAT entry. This makes connection teardown easier than intended. So, tighten the state transition logic to ensure that RST-triggered CLOSE transitions only occur when the RST is a valid response to a previously observed SYN in the correct direction.

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dma-buf: fix UAF in dma_buf_fd() tracepoint Once FD_ADD() returns, the fd is live in the fCVE-2026-63910 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dma-buf: fix UAF in dma_buf_fd() tracepoint Once FD_ADD() returns, the fd is live in the file descriptor table and a thread sharing that table can close() it before DMA_BUF_TRACE() runs. The close drops the last reference, __fput() frees the dma_buf, and the tracepoint then dereferences dmabuf to take dmabuf->name_lock -- slab-use-after-free. Split FD_ADD() back into get_unused_fd_flags() + fd_install() and emit the tracepoint between them. While the fdtable slot is reserved with a NULL file pointer, a racing close() returns -EBADF without entering __fput(), so the dma_buf stays alive across the trace. Same approach as commit 2d76319c4cbb ("dma-buf: fix UAF in dma_buf_put() tracepoint"). This undoes the FD_ADD() conversion done in commit 34dfce523c90 ("dma: convert dma_buf_fd() to FD_ADD()"); FD_ADD() has no place to hook the tracepoint safely.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/colorop: Fix blob property reference tracking in state lifecycle The colorop state blob property handling had memory leaks during state duplication, destruction, and reset operations. The implementation failed to follow the established pattern from drm_crtc's handling of DEGAMMA/GAMMA blob properties. Issues fixed: - drm_colorop_atomic_destroy_state() was freeing state memory without releasing the blob reference, causing a leak - drm_colorop_reset() was directly freeing old state with kfree() instead of properly destroying it, leaking blob references - drm_colorop_cleanup() had duplicate blob cleanup code Changes: - Add __drm_atomic_helper_colorop_destroy_state() helper to properly release blob references before freeing state memory - Update drm_colorop_atomic_destroy_state() to call the helper - Fix drm_colorop_reset() to use drm_colorop_atomic_destroy_state() for proper cleanup of old state - Simplify drm_colorop_cleanup() to use the common destruction path This matches the well-tested pattern used by drm_crtc since 2016 and ensures proper reference counting throughout the state lifecycle. HTTP::Date versions before 6.08 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via polynomial regex backtracking in parse_date. parse_date() matches the date string against a chain of alternative regexes, and str2time() delegates to it. Several of these patterns place unbounded quantifiers next to each other before a trailing `\s*$` anchor. A valid date prefix followed by a long interior run of digits, letters, or whitespace and a single trailing byte that defeats the final match forces the engine to repartition the run, giving polynomial (about quadratic) backtracking. A header value of a few tens of kilobytes runs for tens of seconds of CPU. HTTP::Date parses timestamps such as HTTP `Date`, `Expires`, and `Last-Modified` headers, which commonly originate from untrusted sources. Any caller that passes an untrusted date header to str2time() or parse_date() can be driven to consume unbounded CPU, a denial of service.

A heap buffer over-read vulnerability was discovered in libsoup's (versions: libsoup 3.0 to 3.7.0) HTTP/2 connection tracking framework. When the library processes an HTTP/2 GOAWAY frame, it improperly handles the "Additional Debug Data" payload by assuming the data stream is a safely NUL-terminated C-string. Because the parser lacks strict length-boundary verification before reading this data, a remote, unauthenticated attacker can intentionally send a malformed GOAWAY frame missing the appropriate null delimiter. This causes the library to read past the end of the allocated buffer, triggering an application crash that results in a denial of service (DoS), or potentially exposing fragments of memory contents.

Zephyr's dynamic kernel-object tracking (kernel/userspace/userspace.c, formerly kernel/userspace.c) maintains a doubly-linked list (obj_list) of dynamically allocated kernel objects. Iteration over this list in k_object_wordlist_foreach() was performed under lists_lock using the SAFE iterator (which caches the next node), but list removal and freeing of nodes was performed under different, disjoint spinlocks: objfree_lock in k_object_free() and obj_lock in unref_check(). On an SMP system, while one CPU iterated obj_list under lists_lock, another CPU could unlink and k_free() the dyn_obj node that the iterator had cached as its next pointer, causing the iterator to dereference freed kernel memory (use-after-free / dangling list traversal). All of the racing operations are reachable from unprivileged user-mode threads via system calls: k_object_alloc/k_object_alloc_size and k_object_release drive removals through unref_check() (under obj_lock), while k_thread_abort and thread creation drive the iteration through k_thread_perms_all_clear()/k_thread_perms_inherit() (under lists_lock). A deprivileged user thread on a CONFIG_SMP + CONFIG_USERSPACE build can therefore corrupt the kernel's

The Affilia – Affiliate Program & Referral Tracking for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.3. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to approve or reject affiliate referrals, credit commissions to affiliate wallets, delete referral records, and modify custom banner plugin options, enabling financial fraud. The nonce required to pass the only authentication check is embedded in every frontend page load via rtwalwm_global_params.rtwalwm_nonce, making it trivially accessible to any authenticated user regardless of role.
