  • Jun 25, 2026OCSP CertID serial-number length-confusion in wolfSSL_OCSP_resp_find_status allows a same-issuer SingleResponse whose serial is a prefix of the target serial toCVE-2026-10098 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comMedium 6.3

OCSP CertID serial-number length-confusion in wolfSSL_OCSP_resp_find_status allows a same-issuer SingleResponse whose serial is a prefix of the target serial to be reported as the revocation status of a different certificate. The lookup compared serial-number bytes without first requiring the two serial numbers to be of equal length, so a SingleResponse for one certificate (same issuer) whose serial is a prefix of the target's serial would match, returning the wrong certificate's status. The fix requires the serial lengths to be equal before comparing the serial bytes.

  • Jun 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: cache csum_start/csum_offset to fix TOCTOU in xsk_skb_metadata() The TX metadata areaCVE-2026-53250 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: cache csum_start/csum_offset to fix TOCTOU in xsk_skb_metadata() The TX metadata area resides in the UMEM buffer which is memory-mapped and concurrently writable by userspace. In xsk_skb_metadata(), csum_start and csum_offset are read from shared memory for bounds validation, then read again for skb assignment. A malicious userspace application can race to overwrite these values between the two reads, bypassing the bounds check and causing out-of-bounds memory access during checksum computation in the transmit path. Fix this by reading csum_start and csum_offset into local variables once, then using the local copies for both validation and assignment. Note that other metadata fields (flags, launch_time) and the cached csum fields may be mutually inconsistent due to concurrent userspace writes, but this is benign: the only security-critical invariant is that each field's validated value is the same one used, which local caching guarantees.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/omfs: reject s_sys_blocksize smaller than OMFS_DIR_START omfs_fill_super() rejects overCVE-2026-53130 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/omfs: reject s_sys_blocksize smaller than OMFS_DIR_START omfs_fill_super() rejects oversized s_sys_blocksize values (> PAGE_SIZE), but it does not reject values smaller than OMFS_DIR_START (0x1b8 = 440). Later, omfs_make_empty() uses sbi->s_sys_blocksize - OMFS_DIR_START as the length argument to memset(). Since s_sys_blocksize is u32, a crafted filesystem image with s_sys_blocksize < OMFS_DIR_START causes an unsigned underflow there, wrapping to a value near 2^32. That drives a ~4 GiB memset() from bh->b_data + OMFS_DIR_START and overwrites kernel memory far beyond the backing block buffer. Add the corresponding lower-bound check alongside the existing upper-bound check in omfs_fill_super(), so that malformed images are rejected during superblock validation before any filesystem data is processed.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ublk: reset per-IO canceled flag on each fetch If a ublk server starts recovering devices CVE-2026-53124 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ublk: reset per-IO canceled flag on each fetch If a ublk server starts recovering devices but dies before issuing fetch commands for all IOs, cancellation of the fetch commands that were successfully issued may never complete. This is because the per-IO canceled flag can remain set even after the fetch for that IO has been submitted - the per-IO canceled flags for all IOs in a queue are reset together only once all IOs for that queue have been fetched. So if a nonempty proper subset of the IOs for a queue are fetched when the ublk server dies, the IOs in that subset will never successfully be canceled, as their canceled flags remain set, and this prevents ublk_cancel_cmd from actually calling io_uring_cmd_done on the commands, despite the fact that they are outstanding. Fix this by resetting the per-IO cancel flags immediately when each IO is fetched instead of waiting for all IOs for the queue (which may never happen).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: pull headers in qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() Most ndo_start_xmit() methods expects headers of gso packets to be already in skb->head. net/core/tso.c users are particularly at risk, because tso_build_hdr() does a memcpy(hdr, skb->data, hdr_len); qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() already does a dissection of gso packets. Use pskb_may_pull() instead of skb_header_pointer() to make sure drivers do not have to reimplement this. Some malicious packets could be fed, detect them so that we can drop them sooner with a new SKB_DROP_REASON_SKB_BAD_GSO drop_reason.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ppp: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in target netns for unattached ioctls /dev/ppp open is currently authorized against file->f_cred->user_ns, while unattached administrative ioctls operate on current->nsproxy->net_ns. As a result, a local unprivileged user can create a new user namespace with CLONE_NEWUSER, gain CAP_NET_ADMIN only in that new user namespace, and still issue PPPIOCNEWUNIT, PPPIOCATTACH, or PPPIOCATTCHAN against an inherited network namespace. Require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the user namespace that owns the target network namespace before handling unattached PPP administrative ioctls. This preserves normal pppd operation in the network namespace it is actually privileged in, while rejecting the userns-only inherited-netns case.

Capgo before 12.128.2 contains a broken object level authorization (BOLA) vulnerability in the POST /build/start/:jobId and POST /build/cancel/:jobId endpoints. • Jun 23, 2026Style Dictionary, a build system for creating cross-platform styles, has a prototype pollution vulnerability starting in version 4.3.0 and prior to version 5.4.CVE-2026-54639 · Other software · style-dictionary · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Style Dictionary, a build system for creating cross-platform styles, has a prototype pollution vulnerability starting in version 4.3.0 and prior to version 5.4.4. Impact users have: direct usage of `convertTokenData(tokens, { output: 'object' });`; indirect usage, via using Expand API; and/or indirect usage via SD's transform lifecycle. Impact is high for this when style-dictionary is used as an integration in a NodeJS server application. Impact is moderate for when style-dictionary is used as an integration in a Web application. Impact is low for most common cases where the user of style-dictionary also maintains the tokens, and access is limited via read/write access to the repository/workflows where it is used. A patch has been published in version `5.4.4`. The only known workaround is to sanitize token data first. Whether using DTCG format or old Style Dictionary format, check the token data object recursively for any object keys that include `__proto__`.

tarfile.extractall() with the 'data' or 'tar' filter could be bypassed by a crafted archive where a hardlink references a symlink stored at a deeper name than the hardlink itself.  The extraction fallback validated the symlink at it's archived location but recreated it at the hardlink's shallower path, letting a relative target the filter judged contained escape the destination directory.  This allowed a malicious tar archive to create a symlink pointing outside the destination, enabling out-of-destination file reads or writes. This was an incomplete fix of CVE-2025-4330.

  • Jun 22, 2026Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit.CVE-2026-54283 · Other software · Kludex · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. From 0.4.1 until 1.3.1, request.form() accepts max_fields and max_part_size to bound resource consumption while parsing form data. These limits are enforced for multipart/form-data, but silently ignored for application/x-www-form-urlencoded. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore send a urlencoded body with an arbitrarily large number of fields or an arbitrarily large field, even when the application configured limits it believed would apply. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.1.

  • Jun 22, 2026Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit.CVE-2026-54282 · Other software · Kludex · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. Prior to 1.3.0, the HTTP request path is not validated before being used to reconstruct request.url. Because request.url is rebuilt by concatenating {scheme}://{host}{path} and re-parsing the result, a path that does not begin with / (for example @google.com) moves the authority boundary during re-parsing, so request.url.hostname and request.url.netloc become attacker-controlled. Code that reads request.url.hostname (rather than the Host header or scope) can therefore be misled into trusting an attacker-supplied host. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.0.

  • Jun 22, 2026node-tar is a full-featured Tar for Node.js.CVE-2026-53655 · Other software · isaacs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

node-tar is a full-featured Tar for Node.js. Prior to 7.5.16, tar (node-tar) applies a PAX extended header's size= record (and other PAX overrides) to the next header entry of any type, including intermediary metadata headers such as a GNU long-name (L) or long-link (K) entry. Per POSIX pax, a PAX extended header (x) describes the next file entry, not the intermediary extension headers that may sit between the x header and the file it annotates. Because node-tar lets the PAX size override the byte length of an intervening L/K/x header, an attacker can desynchronize node-tar's stream cursor relative to every other mainstream tar implementation (GNU tar, libarchive/bsdtar, Python tarfile, and the now-fixed tar-rs / astral-tokio-tar). The result is a tar parser interpretation differential (CWE-436): a single crafted archive yields a different set of members under node-tar than under the reference tar tools. An attacker can use this to hide a member from one parser while it is visible to another, which defeats security tooling whose scanner and extractor disagree on archive contents (e.g. a malware/secret scanner that lists entries with one library while a downstream step extracts with

  • Jun 20, 2026AVideo through 29.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the Meet plugin's uploadRecordedVideo.json.php endpoint that derives the target users_id fCVE-2026-56345 · Other software · AVideo · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

AVideo through 29.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the Meet plugin's uploadRecordedVideo.json.php endpoint that derives the target users_id from the uploaded filename without verification. An attacker with knowledge of the Meet shared secret can craft a malicious file upload with a filename containing an arbitrary users_id to invoke passwordless User->login() and establish an authenticated session as any user including admin. Attackers can obtain the Meet shared secret through path-traversal vulnerabilities or timing attacks against checkToken.json.php, then POST a crafted file to uploadRecordedVideo.json.php with a filename like '1-anything.mp4' to hijack admin sessions and gain full account takeover.

mcp-pinot is a Python-based Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for interacting with Apache Pinot. In versions 3.0.1 and below, mcp-pinot defaults to running an HTTP MCP server bound to 0.0.0.0:8080 with no authentication enabled. All MCP tools, including SQL query execution, schema creation, and table-config mutation, are reachable by any network-adjacent caller. The server proxies these calls using server-side Pinot credentials, producing a confused-deputy condition that yields full read/write access to the configured Pinot cluster. The SysBasics Customize My Account for WooCommerce – Dashboard, Endpoints, Avatar & Menu Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'tab' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Because the vulnerable plugin_options_page() function is only rendered within the WordPress admin dashboard, successful exploitation requires the targeted victim to be logged in with Shop Manager-level access or higher.

  • Jun 17, 2026Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit.CVE-2026-48817 · Other software · Kludex · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. In versions 1.0.1 and below, when dispatching a request, HTTPEndpoint selects the handler by lowercasing the HTTP method and looking it up as an attribute with getattr, without restricting the lookup to a known set of HTTP verbs. When an HTTPEndpoint subclass is registered through Route(...) without an explicit methods= argument, the route does not constrain the method and every method reaches the endpoint. If a non-standard HTTP method whose lowercased name matches an attribute on the endpoint subclass reaches the endpoint, that attribute is invoked as if it were a request handler. An attacker can use this to reach methods that were never meant to be HTTP handlers, such as internal helpers, without the authorization checks applied by the intended public handler. An application (including Starlette-based frameworks like FastAPI) is affected if it registers an HTTPEndpoint subclass via Route(...) without explicitly setting methods=, and that subclass includes extra methods named like non-standard HTTP verbs that take one request argument and return a response. This issue has been fixed in version 1.1.0.

  • Jun 16, 2026On Xtensa targets with CONFIG_USERSPACE and CONFIG_XTENSA_MMU, the page-table code (arch/xtensa/core/ptables.c) maintains a global list, xtensa_domain_list, of CVE-2026-10635 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.3

On Xtensa targets with CONFIG_USERSPACE and CONFIG_XTENSA_MMU, the page-table code (arch/xtensa/core/ptables.c) maintains a global list, xtensa_domain_list, of active memory domains using a list node embedded inside the caller-owned struct k_mem_domain. When a domain is destroyed via k_mem_domain_deinit() -> arch_mem_domain_deinit(), the page tables are torn down and domain->arch.ptables is set to NULL, but the domain's node was not removed from xtensa_domain_list. The freed/deinitialized domain therefore remained linked into the global list as a dangling pointer into caller-owned storage that may then be freed or reused. Any subsequent arch_mem_map()/arch_mem_unmap() operation (widely invoked by kernel memory-mapping and demand-paging code) traverses the stale node and dereferences domain->ptables: at minimum a NULL pointer dereference causing a fatal MMU exception (denial of service), and if the k_mem_domain storage has been freed or reused, a use-after-free in which a stale/controlled ptables value is dereferenced and written through during the page-table walk (l2_page_table_map writes l1_table[...] and l2_table[...], and xtensa_mmu_compute_domain_regs writes into the domain st

In OCaml-tar before 3.4.0, a crafted archive with ../ path segments in its name allows escaping the current working directory. An incorrect authorization vulnerability in MISP allows an organization administrator to target site administrator accounts belonging to the same organization through the administrative email functionality. The affected code restricted organization administrators to users within their own organization, but did not exclude accounts assigned a site administrator role from recipient queries. As a result, an organization administrator could perform privileged account-management actions, such as initiating a password reset workflow, against a higher-privileged site administrator account in the same organization. Successful exploitation may allow an authenticated organization administrator to interfere with or potentially take over a site administrator account, resulting in privilege escalation and full compromise of the MISP instance’s confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Attack prerequisites: The attacker must be authenticated as an organization administrator in the same organization as a site administrator account.
