Sep 3, 2026Eclipse aeriOS Self-orchestrator versions prior to 1.2.1 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the REST API.CVE-2026-85199 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.8
Eclipse aeriOS Self-orchestrator versions prior to 1.2.1 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the REST API. User-controlled identifiers used to create, update, or delete Self-orchestrator resources were incorporated into filesystem paths without adequate validation or sanitization. An unauthenticated remote attacker able to access the Self-orchestrator API could therefore supply specially crafted identifiers containing path traversal sequences to write or delete JSON files outside the intended application directories, subject to the filesystem permissions of the Self-orchestrator process. The impact is increased by the absence of authentication on the affected API and by the container running with elevated privileges in the affected deployment configuration. The issue has been addressed in version 1.2.1 by introducing validation and sanitization of user-controlled identifiers before they are used to construct filesystem paths, preventing path separator characters from being used to escape the intended directories.

Aug 30, 2026Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (Path Traversal) vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin allows writing attacker-controlled bytes to CVE-2026-82673 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.3
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (Path Traversal) vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin allows writing attacker-controlled bytes to arbitrary paths on the server. AshAdmin.Components.Resource.Form.consume_file_uploads/1 builds the destination as Path.join([tmp_dir, entry.client_name]) and writes it with File.cp!/2. entry.client_name is the browser-supplied filename and is not sanitized, and Path.join/1 does not normalize ... An upload named ../../../../var/www/app/priv/static/x.png therefore escapes the random temp directory and lands anywhere the BEAM user can write, enabling arbitrary file write and potentially remote code execution by overwriting application assets, configuration, or cron/ssh files. The only guard is an extension allowlist defaulting to :any that checks only the extension. The fix strips path components with Path.basename/1 before joining. This issue affects ash_admin: from 0.13.7 before 1.3.1.

SiYuan 3.8.0 contains a path traversal / sensitive file exposure vulnerability in the RenderTemplate function (kernel/model/template.go), reachable via the POST /api/template/render endpoint (kernel/api/template.go). gitoxide (Rust crates gix <= 0.72.0 and gix-validate <= 0.10.0) contains a path traversal vulnerability. The submodule name validation function in gix-validate only checks the first occurrence of '..' via name.find(b".."), allowing crafted names such as 'a..b/../../../.git/' to bypass the check; additionally this validation is never invoked in production code paths. Combined with a trust inheritance flaw in Submodule::open(), where the parent repository's git_dir_trust (Trust::Full) is cloned and the ownership verification is skipped, an attacker can craft a malicious .gitmodules file so that a victim tool built on gitoxide reads arbitrary git repository configuration (including embedded credentials) with full trust, bypassing safe-directory protections. FrontAccounting through 2.4.20 stores and verifies user passwords as unsalted MD5 digests. admin/users.php passes md5($_POST['password']) to add_user() and update_user_password(), admin/change_current_user_password.php does the same when a user changes their own password, the forgotten-password path in includes/current_user.inc hashes the newly generated password the same way, and authentication calls get_user_auth($loginname, md5($password)). The codebase applies no per-password salt and contains no call to password_hash(), password_verify() or any other adaptive hash, so identical passwords yield identical digests and an attacker who obtains the user table can recover plaintext passwords with precomputed lookup tables or high-rate GPU cracking.

Volmarg Personal Management System contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying absolute filesystem paths to the GET /public/get-file/{path} endpoint. The path route parameter is passed directly to file_get_contents() without canonicalization against a permitted base directory, enabling attackers to retrieve sensitive files accessible to the PHP-FPM worker process without using directory traversal sequences.

Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple FENCE chunks in one submit amdgpu_cs_pass1() dispatches on cCVE-2026-80539 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple FENCE chunks in one submit amdgpu_cs_pass1() dispatches on chunk_id once per chunk without rejecting repeated ids. p->uf_bo is a single-slot field, so a submission carrying two AMDGPU_CHUNK_ID_FENCE chunks runs amdgpu_cs_p1_user_fence() twice, and the second run overwrites p->uf_bo with a freshly referenced BO without dropping the reference taken by the first. amdgpu_cs_parser_fini() only unrefs the final p->uf_bo, so every FENCE chunk but the last leaks a BO reference. The leaked BO outlives handle close and process exit. Reject duplicate FENCE chunks the same way commit fec5f8e8c6bc ("drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple BO_HANDLES chunks in one submit") did for p->bo_list. Aug 26, 2026RustDesk versions 1.3.9 through 1.4.9 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the macOS clipboard file-paste code path.CVE-2026-73102 · Other software · rustdesk · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
RustDesk versions 1.3.9 through 1.4.9 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the macOS clipboard file-paste code path. The application accepts peer-supplied file descriptor names and joins them to the selected target directory without requiring normalized relative paths. A remote peer in an active clipboard file-paste session can use parent-directory components or absolute paths to write files outside the intended target directory at locations writable by the RustDesk process. Commit 6f1eb16 fixes the issue by validating descriptor names and safely joining paths.

Aug 26, 2026Formidable Charts: Directory TraversalCVE-2026-15990 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Formidable Charts plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.1 via the 'frm_graph' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. Successful exploitation requires Formidable Forms Lite, Formidable Forms Pro, and Formidable Charts to be active and requires the wp-content/uploads/frm-charts/ directory to exist, normally after an image-format chart is rendered.
