  • Sep 15, 2026Affected versions of MISP expose several state-changing controller actions without restricting them to POST.CVE-2026-91857 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

Affected versions of MISP expose several state-changing controller actions without restricting them to POST. The affected actions are:  - EventReportsController::purgeUnusedPictures()  - NoticelistsController::enableNoticelist()  - ServersController::removeOrphanedCorrelations()  - WorkflowsController::rebuildRedis() The patch adds allowMethod(['post']) to each action, preventing them from being triggered through ordinary GET requests. For purgeUnusedPictures(), the corresponding UI previously used $.get(). The fix converts that request to POST and supplies X-CSRF-Token, while the controller enables header-only CSRF validation for that AJAX action. Because GET requests can be induced cross-origin through links, images, redirects, or navigation, accepting GET for these state-changing operations can let an attacker trigger them using the authenticated victim's session. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CWE-306) in the checkout session lookup handler (src/app/api/stripe/checkout_sessions/route.ts), exposed at GET /api/stripe/checkout_sessions, in MarcosCamara01 Ecommerce Template before commit 91e273c allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker holding a valid Stripe Checkout Session id (cs_...) to retrieve the full session object, including the buyer's name, email, phone, billing address, amount paid and internal userId, because the GET handler calls stripe.checkout.sessions.retrieve() and returns the result without checking for an authenticated session or session ownership. Sibling endpoints such as POST /api/stripe/payment already enforced authentication via auth.api.getSession(); this endpoint had no access control whatsoever. The session_id is exposed in the buyer's own browser URL after payment (success_url = /result?session_id={CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID}), so it leaks through Referer headers, analytics tools, server access logs and shared-machine browser history, resulting in disclosure of the buyer's personal data to an unauthenticated actor.

Ekia File Manager 1.2.7 exposes com.ekia.filecontrolmanager.OpenFileProvider as an exported Android ContentProvider without requiring caller permissions. The provider maps the caller-controlled URI path directly to a filesystem path and passes it to new File(...). It then supports query(), openFile(), and delete() operations. Because the provider is exported and lacks android:permission, android:readPermission, or android:writePermission, another local application can access the provider authority and cause File Manager's process to read, create, overwrite, or delete files that are accessible to that process.

  • Sep 14, 2026Description A topology's `topology.blobstore.map` lets the submitter choose a local name for each blob that the supervisor localises.CVE-2026-82427 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.8

Description A topology's `topology.blobstore.map` lets the submitter choose a local name for each blob that the supervisor localises. That name was used to build a path under the topology's working directory without normalisation, in both `AsyncLocalizer` and `Container.createBlobstoreLinks`, and the symlink helper force-deletes whatever already exists at the target before creating the link. A submitter could therefore use `../` segments to direct that delete-and-symlink operation at an arbitrary path, as the supervisor user, on every node the topology is scheduled onto. The consequences include recursive deletion of supervisor-owned content and planting a symlink that causes a subsequent worker launch to execute attacker-chosen code as another tenant's operating-system user, which defeats the isolation that `supervisor.run.worker.as.user` is intended to provide. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the resolved target must lie inside the expected root at both call sites. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should restrict topology submission to trusted principals, and may reject submissions whose `topology.blobstore.map` entries contain path separators or `..` segments before

  • Sep 14, 2026LangBot's plugin runtime (pip package langbot_plugin) through 0.4.17 starts a debug WebSocket server on 0.0.0.0:5401 (/plugin/ws) whose authentication is gated CVE-2026-90938 · Other software · langbot-app · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8

LangBot's plugin runtime (pip package langbot_plugin) through 0.4.17 starts a debug WebSocket server on 0.0.0.0:5401 (/plugin/ws) whose authentication is gated on plugin_debug_key, which defaults to an empty string and is never set by the upstream repository, Docker image, or docker-compose (which additionally publishes port 5401 to the host); the key check is therefore skipped entirely. Any remote attacker able to reach the port can register an arbitrary "debug plugin" without credentials. Because events are broadcast to all initialized plugins without filtering, the attacker's plugin receives the full context of every IM message event (including private chats, message chains, and user/sender IDs in plaintext) and can inject forged replies, send messages as any configured bot, enumerate bot UUIDs, invoke configured LLM models, read knowledge-base contents, and register malicious tools that feed every user's LLM pipeline. Registering with "prod_mode": true causes later legitimate installations of a plugin with the same author/name to be rejected, resulting in persistent denial of service. No patched version was available at the time of publication.

  • Sep 11, 2026ZoneMinder is a free, open source closed-circuit television software application.CVE-2026-54258 · Other software · ZoneMinder · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

ZoneMinder is a free, open source closed-circuit television software application. Versions prior to 1.36.39, 1.38.4, and 1.39.11 allow an authenticated low-privileged user with coarse `Events=View` and/or `Snapshots=View` permissions to directly fetch media for events belonging to monitors they are not allowed to access. The normal UI correctly hides the restricted monitor and its events, but direct event media views accept an arbitrary `eid` and stream media from the event path without enforcing the event/monitor-level ACL. This exposes private surveillance footage across monitor boundaries. Versions 1.36.39, 1.38.4, and 1.39.11 fix the issue.

Doco-CD is a GitOps continuous delivery tool that automatically deploys and updates Docker Compose projects/services and Swarm stacks. Prior to version 0.90.1, a trust-boundary flaw in OCI artifact verification allowed artifact-provided deployment config to influence the policy used to verify that same artifact. When global OCI signature verification was enabled via `OCI_TRUST_POLICY` (`enabled: true`), an attacker with write access to the configured OCI tag could publish an unsigned or improperly signed artifact containing `.doco-cd.yml` with `oci.verify: false`. This could cause signature verification to be bypassed and untrusted deployment content to be applied. This primarily impacts users deploying from OCI artifacts where deployment config is read from artifact contents (for example, poll/webhook flows without trusted inline deployment overrides). The issue is fixed by enforcing a strict trust boundary and no-downgrade behavior. First, artifact-contained `.doco-cd.yml` is treated as untrusted for OCI trust-policy override decisions. Second, if global `OCI_TRUST_POLICY.enabled` is `true`, per-deployment `oci.verify: false` cannot disable verification. Some workarounds are avai

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix fcache_disposal UAF by inlining dispose state into nfsd_net nfsd_file_dispose_liCVE-2026-89682 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix fcache_disposal UAF by inlining dispose state into nfsd_net nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed() defers fput() to nfsd service threads via a per-net freeme queue, preventing the shrinker and GC worker from bearing the cost of closing files (see ffb402596147). However, the queue lives in a separately-allocated struct nfsd_fcache_disposal that is freed by nfsd_free_fcache_disposal_net() during per-net teardown. The global shrinker, laundrette, and fsnotify callbacks can still be inside nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed() dereferencing that pointer, causing a use-after-free. Inline the spinlock and freeme list directly into struct nfsd_net (as fcache_dispose_lock and fcache_dispose_list), eliminating the separately allocated struct nfsd_fcache_disposal entirely. These fields now have the same lifetime as the net namespace itself, so there is no dangling pointer to chase. nfsd_file_cache_start_net() now just initializes the inline fields and cannot fail due to allocation. nfsd_file_cache_shutdown_net() drains the inline list directly instead of freeing a separate struct. The alloc/free helpers are removed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix possible fh_compose of wrong dentry in nfsd4_create_file() dentry_create() can hypothetically provide a different dentry than the one passed in. This could happen, for example, if the exported filesystem is NFS, and the server returned to OPEN a filehandle which matched a directory that was already in the dcache. Clearly this would not be expected! If this were to happen the dentry (child) that was already stored in resfhp could be freed and later dereferenced. We shouldn't call fh_compose() until we are certain that we have the final dentry, so this patch moved the fh_compose() call to two places: one for the case where the target already exists, and one after dentry_create() where it was created.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: close shrinker/GC/fsnotify vs per-net shutdown race in filecache The shrinker, GC worker, and fsnotify/lease callbacks can unhash an nfsd_file from the rhashtable and then call nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed() to move it to the per-net dispose list. If nfsd_file_cache_shutdown_net() runs concurrently, its rhashtable walk misses the already-unhashed file, and its drain of the per-net dispose list can run before the file has been queued. The file then sits on the per-net list with no thread to drain it, leaking both the file and its associated state. The GC worker and shrinker already hold nfsd_gc_lock while walking the LRU, but in the original code they release it before calling nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed(). The fsnotify/lease path (nfsd_file_close_inode) has no synchronization at all. Fix this by: 1. Widening nfsd_gc_lock in both nfsd_file_gc() and nfsd_file_lru_scan() to cover the nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed() call. 2. Wrapping nfsd_file_close_inode() in nfsd_gc_lock so that all three callers of nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed() hold the lock. 3. Adding a spin_lock/unlock(nfsd_

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: reject a tree connect response whose byte count is too small CIFSTCon() bounds its strnlen() over the byte area with the server's ByteCount minus two, which for ByteCount 0 or 1 goes negative as an int and converts to a huge size_t. The later subtraction wraps the __u16 bytes_left, and that is what bounds cifs_strndup_from_utf16(): a bound of up to 65535 against a ~16 KB cifs_req_poolp object runs off the end of the slab object, and the bytes reach userspace through tcon->nativeFileSystem in /proc/fs/cifs/DebugData. Reject a byte area too small for what the parser consumes. Two bytes is the least it can consume, and no conformant response carries fewer. The new trace point is the 129th smb_eio_trace entry, which __mode(byte) cannot represent, so the attribute goes with it.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm array: reject an array block whose value size is not the caller's array_block_check() cCVE-2026-89573 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm array: reject an array block whose value size is not the caller's array_block_check() can only compare the header against itself, so a block with value_size 4 and max_entries 1018 is internally consistent and passes. dm-cache keeps two arrays -- mappings at 8 bytes and hints at 4 -- and the roots for both live in the superblock. Point the mappings root at a hint block and __load_mappings() walks it through an info whose value size is 8, so element_at() strides 8 bytes over 4-byte entries and reaches offset 8160 of a 4096-byte block. get_ablock() and __shadow_ablock() are the two places that hold the block and the caller at once. Reject there when the two value sizes disagree. Arrays only ever read their own blocks, so this fires on crafted metadata only.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: close backchannel before destroying callback service A backchannel receive can complete a request while the NFS callback service is being torn down. xprt_complete_bc_request() removes the request from bc_pa_list, drops bc_alloc_count, marks the request in use, and then asks xprt_enqueue_bc_request() to hand it to the callback service. If teardown has already cleared xprt->bc_serv, xprt_enqueue_bc_request() currently returns without enqueueing or freeing the committed request. The xprt_get() taken on entry is leaked as well. If the producer wins the race before bc_serv is cleared, it can also enqueue onto sv_cb_list after nfs_callback_down() has stopped the callback threads, leaving the request linked to a svc_serv that is about to be freed. Close the producer side before callback threads are stopped. Add xprt_svc_shutdown_bc() to clear xprt->bc_serv under bc_pa_lock, and call it on callback shutdown and callback-start failure before stopping the service threads. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: do not dereference an unset send buffer on the SMC-D teardown path smc_close_stream_wait() calls smc_tx_prepared_sends() from inside its sk_wait_event() condition, and sk_wait_event() evaluates that condition once with the socket lock released. smcd_buf_detach() clears conn->sndbuf_desc from smc_conn_kill() under lock_sock(), so a link group terminating while a socket waits there leaves the helper dereferencing NULL, faulting out of close(). SIOCOUTQ reads the field by hand, and smc_close_cancel_work() drops the lock across two cancel_*_sync() calls. Sample the pointer once in the helper, report nothing prepared while it is unset, and bound the ioctl the same way. The receive tasklet dereferences the field directly in smc_cdc_msg_recv_action(), not through this helper; 1/2 is what keeps it from running that late.

The two built-in name-finder patterns exposed by opennlp.tools.namefind.RegexNameFinderFactory - DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.EMAIL and DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.URL - contain ambiguous nested quantifiers. An application that obtains these finders through RegexNameFinderFactory.getDefaultRegexNameFinders(...) and then applies them to untrusted text through RegexNameFinder.find(String[]) or RegexNameFinder.find(String) can be driven into super-linear backtracking or into unbounded matcher recursion by a small crafted input. For the EMAIL pattern, a long run of local-part characters that is never followed by an @ forces the matcher to re-scan to end-of-input from every starting offset. Cost grows quadratically with input length: an input of approximately 32 KB consumes several seconds of CPU in a single find() call and returns no match, and each doubling of the input multiplies the cost roughly four-fold. For the URL pattern, the query-string sub-expression nests a capturing repetition inside an outer repetition. The JDK matcher recurses once per query token, so an input of approximately 4 KB containing many &-separated tokens exhausts the thread stack and causes java.lang.Sta

Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 stores user validation hashes for multiple purposes (email/registration validation, password reset, and persistent login) in a single table with a type column, but the redemption path resolves a hash by value alone and does not verify its type. As a result, a hash issued for one purpose can be redeemed for another: a long-lived registration hash (60-day expiry) can be submitted to the password-change endpoint to set a new password on the target account, and a password-reset hash can be submitted to the email-validation endpoint to activate an account. Exploitation requires the attacker to first obtain a valid hash through a separate channel (for example email interception, log exposure, or SSRF against an internal mail relay), so the flaw amplifies the impact of any hash disclosure rather than creating a standalone entry point. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Capgo (capgo.app) fails to restrict direct write access to the public.sso_providers table exposed through Supabase PostgREST. A holder of an ordinary Capgo full API key can insert a row with status='active' and enforce_sso=true, bypassing the intended backend SSO provisioning route (supabase/functions/_backend/private/sso/providers.ts) and its controls: the Enterprise plan requirement, SSO provider creation via the Supabase Management API, DNS TXT domain-ownership verification, the pending_verification → verified → active status transition, and issuance of a trusted provider ID by Supabase Auth. The forged row is trusted by SSO discovery and enforcement logic, including the unauthenticated login preflight endpoint /private/sso/check-domain, which then reports {"has_sso": true, "enforce_sso": true} for domains that were never verified, allowing attacker-controlled SSO enforcement to be asserted for arbitrary domains and disrupting normal login. All versions are affected; at the time of the advisory no patch was available.

Snipe-IT versions 4.2.0 through 8.6.3 expose Laravel Passport's auto-registered personal-access-token routes (GET, POST, DELETE /oauth/personal-access-tokens*) with only 'web' and 'auth:web' middleware, without the self.api permission gate that Snipe-IT enforces on its own token endpoints (/account/api and /api/v1/account/personal-access-tokens). Any user with a valid web session and the corresponding CSRF token can POST to /oauth/personal-access-tokens and mint a long-lived bearer token for their own account, even when an administrator has denied the self.api permission. The issued token is still subject to existing per-endpoint authorization policies, so this is not a privilege escalation; it defeats the administrative control intended to block API/scripted access at the user's own permission level. Fixed in 8.7.0 (commit 3f74b8c), which registers overriding routes wrapped in the can:self.api middleware.

Certain KGUARD DVR devices running vulnerable firmware expose a system command execution service on all network interfaces without requiring authentication. A remote unauthenticated attacker with network access to the affected service can execute arbitrary system commands on the device, potentially resulting in complete compromise of the DVR. The vulnerability is known to have been exploited in the wild by the Mirai_ptea (Rimasuta) and Mirai_aurora botnets for malware propagation and subsequent DDoS activity. The vulnerability was reported to affect firmware dating from 2016, while firmware released after 2017 appears to mitigate the issue by restricting the affected service to the localhost interface (127.0.0.1) instead of exposing it on all interfaces (0.0.0.0). The affected-device list reported by Netlab includes many D1004NR, D1008NR, D1016NR, D1104, D1104NR, D1108NR, D1116NR, D1132NR, D2116NR, D97xx, D98xx, and D99xx variants and several associated hardware revisions The exploit is included in some version of rapperbot and exploited in 2026. This assignment has been made to document the active exploitation and lack of documentation from the vendor.

  • Sep 8, 2026OpenIDC/cjose is a C library implementing the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE).CVE-2026-53939 · Other software · OpenIDC · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

OpenIDC/cjose is a C library implementing the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE). In versions 0.6.1 through 0.6.2.5, when cjose encrypts a JWE using an AES-CBC-HMAC content-encryption algorithm (`A128CBC-HS256`, `A192CBC-HS384`, or `A256CBC-HS512`) together with any key-management algorithm that generates a fresh content-encryption key (CEK), the CEK is all zero bytes instead of being randomly generated. The resulting JWE is therefore encrypted and authenticated under a fixed, publicly known key, so anyone who obtains the JWE can recover the plaintext and forge or modify the content. This is fixed in version 0.6.2.6 by `_cjose_jwe_set_cek_aes_cbc()` generating the CEK from `RAND_bytes`. A regression test asserts that the `encrypted_key` differs across two encryptions for each AES-CBC-HMAC variant. Until upgrading, for data encrypted with cjose, three options are available. Use an AES-GCM `enc` (`A128GCM` / `A192GCM` / `A256GCM`) instead of an AES-CBC-HMAC `enc`, use `alg=dir` with a caller-supplied CEK, or avoid using cjose for JWE encryption with the affected algorithm pair. These are mitigations for new ciphertexts only; data already encrypted under the zero key rem

  • Sep 8, 2026OpenIDC/cjose is a C library implementing the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE).CVE-2026-53938 · Other software · OpenIDC · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

OpenIDC/cjose is a C library implementing the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE). Prior to version 0.6.2.5, cjose's JWE decryption path for the AES Key Wrap key-management algorithms (`alg` = `A128KW`, `A192KW`, `A256KW`) does not validate the length of the attacker-supplied `encrypted_key` (JWE Encrypted Key) before unwrapping it into a fixed-size, heap-allocated Content Encryption Key (CEK) buffer. A remote, unauthenticated attacker who can submit a crafted JWE to an application that decrypts it with an AES-KW symmetric key can trigger an out-of-bounds heap write, corrupting the heap. This leads at minimum to a crash (denial of service) and, depending on the heap layout and allocator, may be leverageable for further memory-corruption impact. `cjose_jwe_import()` / `cjose_jwe_decrypt()` are pre-authentication entry points: they parse and process fully attacker-controlled input. Upgrade to cjose 0.6.2.5 to receive a patch. If upgrading is not immediately possible, reject the AES Key Wrap algorithms (`A128KW`/`A192KW`/`A256KW`) for untrusted JWEs at the application layer.
