hono before 4.13.7 fails to HTML-escape plain strings rendered by hono/jsx as a child or fallback of Suspense, as a string child of ErrorBoundary alongside an asynchronous sibling, as the single child of a Context.Provider, or as the root value passed to renderToString() or renderToReadableStream() from hono/jsx/dom/server. Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61795 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. From 0.13.0 until 0.13.7, hostnameRegexHandler.OnUpdate in internal/webhook/tenant/validation/hostname_regex.go reverses the new and old Tenant parameters and validates the previous AllowedHostnames.Regex instead of the submitted value. A cluster administrator can therefore store a malformed AllowedHostnames.Regex after the webhook accepts the update based on stale valid state. Subsequent Ingress creation or update reaches validate_hostnames.go, which evaluates the malformed pattern, ignores the regular-expression error, and treats every hostname as unmatched, blocking Ingress operations for the affected tenant until an administrator repairs the Tenant configuration. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61794 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. From 0.13.0 until 0.13.7, the Tenant update validation in internal/webhook/tenant/validation/forbidden_annotations_regex.go compiles ForbiddenLabels.Regex for both the labels and annotations checks instead of validating ForbiddenAnnotations.Regex. An administrator who can update a Tenant can therefore persist a malformed ForbiddenAnnotations.Regex while leaving the labels expression valid. Namespace creation or update later passes the stored expression through pkg/api/forbidden_list.go, where regexp.MustCompile can panic during forbidden metadata validation and deny namespace operations for the affected tenant. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61672 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. Prior to 0.13.7, ForbiddenListSpec.ExactMatch in pkg/api/forbidden_list.go sorts denied metadata keys case-insensitively and then uses sort.SearchStrings, which assumes byte-order sorting. When an administrator's forbidden list mixes capitalized and lowercase keys or otherwise has different case-insensitive and byte ordering, the binary search can return false for a key that is present. An authenticated tenant owner can then pass the missed key through api.ValidateForbidden and bypass configured namespace, Service, or delegated node metadata restrictions, potentially influencing cluster policies, network exposure, or scheduling outside the tenant boundary. Uniformly lowercase lists whose two orderings coincide are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

Sep 18, 2026vm2 (npm) versions 3.12.0 and earlier contain a sandbox escape in `VM` and `NodeVM`.CVE-2026-93606 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10
vm2 (npm) versions 3.12.0 and earlier contain a sandbox escape in `VM` and `NodeVM`. When an embedder exposes a host API that returns a host-realm Promise, the bridge's rejection sanitizer (hostPromiseSanitizeReject / makeSanitizedPromiseCallback / normalizeHostPromiseCallbacks in lib/bridge.js) only wraps `then`/`catch` rejection slots that hold a function, and the sandbox-side `Symbol.species`/`.then` neutralization is installed only on the sandbox intrinsic `Promise.prototype`, so it never applies to a host Promise. Code running inside the sandbox can overwrite `p.constructor[Symbol.species]` on the host Promise and then call `p.then()` with no `onRejected` handler; V8 substitutes its internal Thrower, which re-throws the raw host rejection value into a resolve/reject closure captured by the attacker. This delivers an unsanitized, fully functional bridge proxy of the host object to sandboxed code, bypassing handleException and hostPromiseSanitizeReject. If the rejection value is host-pivotable (for example a host `process` object), this results in arbitrary code execution on the host. Fixed in 3.12.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/chrome: cros_ec_typec: Reject out-of-bounds PD cap count cros_typec_register_partner_pdos() copies the partner PDOs from the EC TYPEC_STATUS response into the fixed caps_desc.pdo[PDO_MAX_OBJECTS] array. memcpy(caps_desc.pdo, resp->source_cap_pdos, sizeof(u32) * resp->source_cap_count); ... memcpy(caps_desc.pdo, resp->sink_cap_pdos, sizeof(u32) * resp->sink_cap_count); PDO_MAX_OBJECTS is 7. source_cap_count and sink_cap_count are u8 fields from the EC. The only check is that they are not both zero. If either is larger than 7, the memcpy writes past the end of the array on the stack. A count of 255 overflows it by about 1 KB. The EC source arrays are only seven entries wide. A larger count reads past them too. The ChromeOS EC firmware caps these counts today, so a compliant setup does not hit this. The kernel should still validate these values rather than trust them. Validate the counts in cros_typec_register_partner_pdos() next to the memcpy. Skip the PDO registration if either count is above PDO_MAX_OBJECTS. The rest of cros_typec_handle_status() still runs so events are handled an

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix stride mismatch in mac_phy_caps_parse() Currently, in ath12k_wmi_mac_phy_caps_parse(), kzalloc() sizes the mac_phy_caps buffer as tot_phy_id * len, where len is clamped to min(firmware_len, sizeof(struct ath12k_wmi_mac_phy_caps_params)). The subsequent memcpy() destination advances by sizeof(full struct) per slot via C pointer arithmetic, not by the clamped len. When firmware sends short TLVs, the second and later slots are written past the end of the allocation. The reader in ath12k_pull_mac_phy_cap_svc_ready_ext() also indexes the buffer with full-struct pointer arithmetic, so the allocation must match that stride. Fix by using kzalloc_objs(), which derives the element size from the pointer type, making allocation size and pointer stride provably consistent regardless of what len the firmware provides. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86/amd/hsmp: Reject negative power cap writes in hwmon hsmp_hwmon_write() takes the user-supplied hwmon value as a signed long and assigns "val / MICROWATT_PER_MILLIWATT" to msg.args[0], which is a __u32. MICROWATT_PER_MILLIWATT is an unsigned long, so a negative write to power1_cap (e.g. "echo -1 > power1_cap") is first converted to a huge unsigned value by the division and then stored into the u32 argument. As a result a nonsensical, multi-gigawatt socket power limit is sent to the SMU via HSMP_SET_SOCKET_POWER_LIMIT instead of the write being rejected. Reject negative values with -EINVAL before the conversion. Tested with HSMP enabled: CAP=$(dirname $(grep -l amd_hsmp_hwmon \ /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon*/name | head -1))/power1_cap # negative write echo -1000000 > $CAP ; echo "ret=$?" # valid positive write must still work echo 400000000 > $CAP ; echo "ret=$?" Before: # echo -1000000 > $CAP ; echo "ret=$?" ret=0 <- accepted; bogus limit sent to SMU # echo 400000000 > $CAP ; echo "ret=$?" ret=0 After: # echo -1000000 > $CAP ; echo "ret=$?" b

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: access chan->conn safely in get/setsockopt Since commit b66774b48dd9 ("Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix UAF in channel timeout by holding conn ref") l2cap_chan::conn has held reference and remains non-NULL also after the corresponding hci_conn is deleted. In this state accessing various fields eg. hci_conn::hdev is invalid, which leads to KASAN crash in l2cap_sock_setsockopt() access of conn->hcon->hdev. Check l2cap_chan::conn.hcon corresponds to an alive hci_conn before trying to use it in l2cap_sock.c. Hold l2cap_chan_lock() in getsockopt/setsockopt to ensure it stays alive, and to avoid data races in l2cap_chan fields.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ife: Only operate on Ethernet frames act_ife encapsulates/decapsulates the CVE-2026-90083 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ife: Only operate on Ethernet frames act_ife encapsulates/decapsulates the original Ethernet header and uses skb->dev->hard_header_len as the length of that header. That is only correct for Ethernet devices: on a device where hard_header_len does not match the L2 header that was actually pulled (PPP reports PPP_HDRLEN while nothing is stripped on ingress), the ingress skb_push()/skb_pull() use the wrong length and can hit skb_under_panic when headroom is tight. IFE is Ethernet-only by design - it builds an outer ethhdr, rewrites h_source/h_dest/h_proto, and calls eth_type_trans() on decode - so instead of trying to make the offsets work for arbitrary link types, simply drop packets that do not carry an Ethernet header. Checking skb->dev->type alone is not enough. We have to cater for a corner case where mirred can redirect an skb from a non-Ethernet device to an Ethernet one, and skb->dev then says nothing about the framing the skb actually has: an skb redirected from ppp0 reaches the target's ingress hook with mac_len 0 and no Ethernet header at all. So at ingress also require mac_len to be ETH_

Sep 17, 2026vm2 versions 3.10.1 through 3.11.6 contain a sandbox escape reachable from a default `new VM()` sandbox when running on Node.js 26.CVE-2026-92956 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10
vm2 versions 3.10.1 through 3.11.6 contain a sandbox escape reachable from a default `new VM()` sandbox when running on Node.js 26. WebAssembly.compileStreaming and WebAssembly.instantiateStreaming can produce a raw host-realm Promise that rejects with a host-realm error object; by controlling Symbol.species via Promise.prototype.finally, sandbox code receives that raw host error, walks from the host error constructor to the host Function constructor, and recovers the real host `process` object, gaining host Node.js capabilities (e.g. access to host modules such as fs) in the context of the process running the sandbox. No NodeVM, require permission, host object injection, or otherwise unsafe configuration is required. This is a bypass of the fix for GHSA-6j2x-vhqr-qr7q, which removed the JSPI entry points WebAssembly.promising and WebAssembly.Suspending. The issue is fixed in 3.11.7.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 versions >= 3.9.6 and <= 3.11.6 are affected by a NodeVM builtin allowlist bypass that permits a sandbox escape on Node.js 24 and newer when the embedder exCVE-2026-92948 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4
vm2 versions >= 3.9.6 and <= 3.11.6 are affected by a NodeVM builtin allowlist bypass that permits a sandbox escape on Node.js 24 and newer when the embedder explicitly allows the node:test builtin (e.g. require: { builtin: ['node:test'] }). On Node.js 24+, module.builtinModules exposes the scheme-only key node:test, which is not covered by vm2's family-based DANGEROUS_BUILTINS protection, so it is stored in the generic host-passthrough loader. Because requireImpl() in lib/setup-node-sandbox.js strips a single 'node:' prefix before the builtin lookup, sandbox code calling require('node:node:test') resolves to the stored node:test key and receives a readonly proxy to the host module. Calls to node:test.run() are forwarded to the host implementation, which spawns a separate Node process for process-isolated test execution and passes through attacker-controlled execArgv values; supplying --eval=<JavaScript> therefore executes arbitrary JavaScript in an unrestricted host Node process outside the NodeVM sandbox. Fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 3.11.6 is vulnerable to a sandbox escape leading to remote code execution in the host Node.js process.CVE-2026-92937 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10
vm2 3.11.6 is vulnerable to a sandbox escape leading to remote code execution in the host Node.js process. The fix for GHSA-m283-3h24-438v is incomplete: the bridge gate at lib/bridge.js:1624 identity-checks only the direct call target when deciding whether to rebuild/sanitise a rejected host Promise value. Registering the rejection handler through Function.prototype.call or .apply indirection (e.g., p.then.call(p, undefined, cb)) makes the intercepted target host Function.prototype.call, so the sanitiser never runs and the raw host error reaches sandbox code with its own properties intact. If an embedder exposes a host-realm Promise to the sandbox (an async host function bridged via the sandbox option, or a NodeVM external module's async method) and that Promise rejects with an Error carrying a non-primitive own property referencing a host object (for example err.detail = process), untrusted code in the sandbox obtains a fully functional proxy to that host object and can execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the host process (e.g., e.detail.mainModule.require('child_process').execSync(...)). The direct p.then(undefined, cb), bind, and Reflect.apply forms are correctly
