Lemonldap::NG::Portal versions from 2.23.0 before 2.23.4 for Perl allow a PKCE bypass for public Relying Parties in "PKCE or secret" mode because checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials does not verify the client secret. With oidcRPMetaDataOptionsRequirePKCE set to 2, the authorization endpoint issues a code even when the request carries no code_challenge, and token() admits the exchange as long as a challenge was stored or an authentication method was returned for the caller. checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials() skips the secret comparison for a Relying Party marked public and still returns the method deduced from the request, so any Basic or form credential satisfies the secret branch. validatePKCEChallenge() then passes, because neither a challenge nor a verifier is present. An attacker who intercepts an authorization code issued to a public Relying Party can exchange it for the user's access, ID and refresh tokens by replaying the client_id with an arbitrary secret, which is the attack PKCE prevents. Dynamic client registration creates every Relying Party in this mode.

copyparty contains a volume restriction bypass vulnerability in its SFTP front end that allows authenticated SFTP users to create, remove, and truncate arbitrary paths outside permitted volume boundaries by exploiting three handlers that bypass the xvol volflag enforcement. The _mkdir, _rmdir, and _chattr handlers construct destination paths using vfs.get(), vn.canonical(), and os.path.join() without invoking the chk_ap access check, enabling attackers to traverse symlinks leaving a volume's top directory and perform unauthorized file creation, deletion, or truncation via SSH_FXP_SETSTAT operations on paths outside any volume the account is authorized to access.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i3c: master: svc: Prevent IRQ storm from false SLVSTART on NPCM845 On NPCM845, when a target on the I3C bus gets stuck holding SDA low, the controller reports a false Master Request (MR) in-band interrupt event. The driver handles this by emitting a STOP condition to restore the bus. However, the hardware quirk SVC_I3C_QUIRK_FALSE_SLVSTART indicates that emitting a STOP condition may spuriously set the SLVSTART interrupt status bit. In the Master Request case, this creates a feedback loop: the STOP triggers a new SLVSTART event, the IRQ handler fires again, the controller still reports an MR type, another STOP is emitted, and the cycle repeats indefinitely, resulting in an IRQ storm that can lock up the CPU. Clear the SLVSTART status bit explicitly after emitting the STOP in the Master Request IBI handler when the SVC_I3C_QUIRK_FALSE_SLVSTART quirk is set. This breaks the feedback loop without affecting normal SLVSTART processing, which is already guarded in the top-level IRQ handler by checking that MSTATUS is in SLVREQ state.

  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: serial: 8250: protect against NULL uart->port.dev in register serial8250_register_825CVE-2026-97480 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: serial: 8250: protect against NULL uart->port.dev in register serial8250_register_8250_port() conditionally copies uart->port.dev from up->port.dev only when up->port.dev is non-NULL: if (up->port.dev) { uart->port.dev = up->port.dev; ... } So if both the existing uart slot and up have a NULL ->dev, uart->port.dev remains NULL. The very next ACPI companion check then dereferences it unconditionally: if (!has_acpi_companion(uart->port.dev)) { has_acpi_companion() reads dev->fwnode without a NULL guard (include/linux/acpi.h), so this NULL-derefs the kernel for the remaining no-dev case rather than just skipping the mctrl_gpio_init() initialisation as intended. smatch flags the inconsistency: drivers/tty/serial/8250/8250_core.c:767 serial8250_register_8250_port() error: 'uart->port.dev' could be null (see line 719) Guard the call with a NULL check so register continues to work for callers that legitimately have no parent device (legacy non-OF/non-ACPI registrations). No functional change for callers that pass a non-NULL ->dev.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/intel/pt: Fix stop/start with no update If pt_event_stop() is called without PERF_EF_UPDATE flag, then perf_aux_output_end() is not called. A subsequent call to pt_event_start() will call perf_aux_output_begin() again which violates the rule against nesting and triggers a WARNING in perf_aux_output_begin(). Originally, pt_event_stop() was never called without PERF_EF_UPDATE, because the only code paths to do so are from event overflow, and Intel PT does not do that. However the introduction of group throttling by commit 9734e25fbf5ae ("perf: Fix the throttle logic for a group") meant that an Intel PT event could be throttled if it was part of a group. Throttling calls PMU ->stop() / ->start() callbacks without flags. An example is when AUX area sampling is used. The following commands hit the issue: echo 10000 > /proc/sys/kernel/perf_event_max_sample_rate perf record -F32000 --aux-sample -e '{intel_pt//u,cycles:u}' \ -- bash -c 'for i in `seq 1 100000` ; do true ; done' Use PERF_HES_UPTODATE to track whether perf_aux_output_begin() and perf_aux_output_end() are balanced. Velociraptor stores the compiled VQL in the hunt object internally to avoid having to recompile the artifacts for each endpoint in the hunt. Although the field "compiled_collector_args" is an internal field, Velociraptor allowed the field to be set from a user API call. This allows another user who can schedule a hunt (minimal role of "investigator" ) to set the compiled VQL statements for the hunt bypassing any ACL checks that would normally be applied. This flaw can then be escalated to allow the "investigator" user to run arbitrary VQL statements as an administrator user on the Velociraptor server.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.3, Chartbrew's ClickHouse protocol in server/sources/plugins/clickhouse/clickhouse.protocol.js calls applySqlVariables() from server/sources/shared/sql/sql.variables.js without enabling the escapeBackslash option. For a ClickHouse-backed chart with variable binding, an attacker can supply a backslash before a quote so quote doubling does not keep the value within its intended SQL string literal. Public dashboards can expose this path without authentication, and successful exploitation can execute arbitrary ClickHouse SQL to disclose data or, when the database configuration permits, access files or internal network resources. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.3.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's runQuery() implementation in server/modules/ai/orchestrator/tools/runQuery.js interpolates the AI tool's row_limit parameter into a SQL LIMIT clause without runtime integer validation. The read-only keyword check runs before this value is appended, so an authenticated user who can influence a model-generated non-integer row_limit can add SQL that bypasses the earlier check. Successful exploitation can execute arbitrary statements against the connected database, including reading or changing data and, where database permissions permit, accessing files or executing operating-system commands. Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's runQuery() implementation in server/modules/ai/orchestrator/tools/runQuery.js attempts to enforce read-only database access with a blocklist containing only seven SQL keywords. An authenticated user with AI feature access can submit dangerous statements or database functions that are absent from the read-only keyword blocklist, causing them to execute without SQL injection or keyword-obfuscation techniques. Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's server/modules/safeRequest.js calls validateOutboundUrl() to resolve and validate a target hostname, but request-promise performs a separate DNS resolution for the actual connection. An authenticated user who can create or test API connections and controls the target DNS name can return a public address during validation and a private address during the request, bypassing the protections implemented by server/modules/outboundTargetPolicy.js. • Sep 19, 2026Partial Shipment for Woocommerce: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-9858 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Partial Shipment for Woocommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 3.4 via the wxp_order_shipment, wxp_order_item_shipment, and wxp_order_set_shipped AJAX actions. This is due to the AJAX handlers in woocommerce-partial-shipment.php (registered at lines 60–62 and implemented at lines 228, 263, and 291) lacking both capability checks and nonce verification, and not validating the calling user's ownership of the supplied order_id. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to read arbitrary order item details (names, quantities, shipped counts) belonging to any customer and to modify the shipment status / shipped quantities of any order, which can also trigger order status transitions via the wxp_order_status action.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61822 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, run_maintenance() handles exceptions outside the loop that processes rows from part_config, so an exception for one partition set immediately terminates the loop and skips every later set. A role with partman_user access can insert or update a row that reliably fails and assign it a low maintenance_order value so it is processed before legitimate rows. Repeated maintenance ticks then abort before legitimate partition sets are maintained, causing database-wide loss of automated partition maintenance. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61821 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, drop_partition_id() and drop_partition_time() use part_config.retention_schema as the target for ALTER TABLE SET SCHEMA and accept any nonempty schema name. A role with partman_user access can select a target schema where the role lacks the normal CREATE privilege, and the background worker performs the relocation with pg_partman_bgw.role privileges, which default to PostgreSQL superuser, bypassing the authorization check that a normal ALTER TABLE SET SCHEMA operation would enforce. This permits unauthorized relocation of retained child tables between schemas. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61820 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, inherit_template_properties() manually surrounds primary-key column names from pg_attribute.attname with double quotes without escaping embedded double-quote characters. A partman_user who owns a template table can create a crafted column name that breaks out of the generated ALTER TABLE ADD PRIMARY KEY identifier when the background worker applies the key to a child partition. The generated SQL then executes with pg_partman_bgw.role privileges, which default to PostgreSQL superuser, permitting database-wide compromise and operating-system command execution as the PostgreSQL service account. The crafted catalog identifier persists until removed and can trigger again during later partition creation. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61819 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, when pg_jobmon is installed and part_config.jobmon is true, exception handlers in multiple pg_partman functions place p_parent_table verbatim inside a SQL string literal used to call pg_jobmon.add_job(). A partman_user can create a parent-table name containing a single quote that terminates the literal and injects SQL when an affected exception path runs. If pg_partman_bgw reaches that path, the injected SQL executes with pg_partman_bgw.role privileges, which default to PostgreSQL superuser, permitting database-wide compromise and operating-system command execution as the PostgreSQL service account. The persistent part_config row can trigger the escalation again on later maintenance ticks. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61818 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, undo_partition() reads part_config.time_encoder as unrestricted text and interpolates it without identifier quoting into a dynamically executed SELECT statement. A role with partman_user access can store SQL rather than a function name, and the SQL executes with the privileges of the caller that invokes undo_partition(). The function is not part of the default background-worker path, which limits the automatic superuser escalation described by the related create-partition vulnerability, but a privileged caller can still have its available confidentiality, integrity, and availability permissions abused. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID.CVE-2026-61817 · Other software · pgpartman · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

pg_partman is a PostgreSQL extension that manages partitioned tables by time or ID. Prior to 5.5.0, run_maintenance(), show_partitions(), show_partition_info(), undo_partition(), and partition_data_time() interpolate the writable part_config.time_dncoder text value without identifier quoting into dynamic SQL. A role with the documented partman_user privileges can store SQL rather than a decoder function name. When an affected operation later uses the poisoned value, including pg_partman_bgw maintenance for a text- or UUID-keyed set, the SQL executes with the operation's privileges, which can be the default PostgreSQL superuser background-worker role. The persistent row can restore elevated access on later ticks, and successful exploitation can permit database-wide compromise and operating-system command execution as the PostgreSQL service account. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026Mnemosyne is a memory layer for artificial intelligence agents.CVE-2026-59163 · Other software · AxDSan · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Mnemosyne is a memory layer for artificial intelligence agents. Prior to v3.10.1, the auth check in mnemosyne/core/sync_server.py parsed the JWT's header and payload using base64 decoding, then passed the token to a jwt library call with options that effectively disabled signature verification. The server accepted any well-formed token regardless of the signature, including tokens with alg: none and tokens signed with the wrong key. The fix in v3.10.1 replaces the broken decode with a from-scratch HS256 verifier using only the Python standard library. For users who cannot upgrade immediately, restrict network access to the sync server endpoint to trusted clients only. Firewall, reverse proxy with mTLS, or localhost bind with SSH tunnel are all viable. The vulnerability is not exploitable against an unreachable endpoint.

  • Sep 18, 2026zot is a container image and artifact registry based on the Open Container Initiative Distribution Specification.CVE-2026-61833 · Other software · project-zot · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

zot is a container image and artifact registry based on the Open Container Initiative Distribution Specification. Prior to 2.1.18, the bearer authentication handler in pkg/api/authn.go maps every HTTP method other than GET and HEAD to the push action, so DELETE requests are not checked for the distinct delete permission. Bearer-authenticated requests also bypass the fine-grained DistSpecAuthzHandler path in pkg/api/authz.go, while DeleteManifest and DeleteBlob perform no independent delete-permission check. A remote attacker with a bearer token limited to pull and push actions can therefore delete manifests and blobs within the token's repository scope, making images unavailable and allowing repository history to be altered despite the token lacking delete authorization. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.18.
