Aug 30, 2026Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (Path Traversal) vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin allows writing attacker-controlled bytes to CVE-2026-82673 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.3
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory (Path Traversal) vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin allows writing attacker-controlled bytes to arbitrary paths on the server. AshAdmin.Components.Resource.Form.consume_file_uploads/1 builds the destination as Path.join([tmp_dir, entry.client_name]) and writes it with File.cp!/2. entry.client_name is the browser-supplied filename and is not sanitized, and Path.join/1 does not normalize ... An upload named ../../../../var/www/app/priv/static/x.png therefore escapes the random temp directory and lands anywhere the BEAM user can write, enabling arbitrary file write and potentially remote code execution by overwriting application assets, configuration, or cron/ssh files. The only guard is an extension allowlist defaulting to :any that checks only the extension. The fix strips path components with Path.basename/1 before joining. This issue affects ash_admin: from 0.13.7 before 1.3.1.

Aug 30, 2026SiYuan 3.8.0 contains a path traversal / sensitive file exposure vulnerability in the RenderTemplate function (kernel/model/template.go), reachable via the POSTCVE-2026-82650 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.9
SiYuan 3.8.0 contains a path traversal / sensitive file exposure vulnerability in the RenderTemplate function (kernel/model/template.go), reachable via the POST /api/template/render endpoint (kernel/api/template.go). The endpoint restricts the supplied path only to the workspace directory (util.IsAbsPathInWorkspace) but, unlike the file API's refuseToAccess() blocklist, applies no sensitive-path exclusion. This allows an authenticated attacker to read sensitive workspace files, including conf/conf.json, which contains the API token and cookie signing key. The issue is fixed in v3.8.1.

file_picker (aka flutter_file_picker) for Flutter, all versions through 10.3.10, is vulnerable to path traversal (CWE-22) in its Android implementation. The openFileStream() method in FileUtils.kt uses the DISPLAY_NAME obtained from ContentResolver.query() directly in file path construction without sanitization. Aug 28, 2026gitoxide (Rust crates gix <= 0.72.0 and gix-validate <= 0.10.0) contains a path traversal vulnerability.CVE-2026-82253 · Other software · GitoxideLabs · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
gitoxide (Rust crates gix <= 0.72.0 and gix-validate <= 0.10.0) contains a path traversal vulnerability. The submodule name validation function in gix-validate only checks the first occurrence of '..' via name.find(b".."), allowing crafted names such as 'a..b/../../../.git/' to bypass the check; additionally this validation is never invoked in production code paths. Combined with a trust inheritance flaw in Submodule::open(), where the parent repository's git_dir_trust (Trust::Full) is cloned and the ownership verification is skipped, an attacker can craft a malicious .gitmodules file so that a victim tool built on gitoxide reads arbitrary git repository configuration (including embedded credentials) with full trust, bypassing safe-directory protections. Aug 25, 2026Chainlit is a Python framework for building production-ready conversational AI applications.CVE-2026-45019 · Other software · Chainlit · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Chainlit is a Python framework for building production-ready conversational AI applications. From 2.4.0rc0 until 2.12.0, Chainlit deployments with features.mcp.enabled set to true in .chainlit/config.toml expose the POST /mcp endpoint without requiring authentication. For sse and streamable-http transports, ConnectSseMCPRequest and ConnectStreamableHttpMCPRequest in backend/chainlit/types.py accept a user-controlled url and optional headers dictionary without scheme validation, private-address filtering, or an allowlist. The connect_mcp handler in backend/chainlit/server.py passes these values to sse_client() or streamablehttp_client(), allowing the Chainlit server to make blind outbound requests to arbitrary internal or external services, including cloud metadata endpoints, with attacker-controlled Authorization and Cookie headers. The SSE URL sink has existed since 2.4.0rc0, while attacker-controlled header forwarding and streamable-http support were added in 2.6.4. The response is consumed internally and not returned, but the attacker can issue state-changing authenticated requests, discover internal services, scan ports, and probe metadata endpoints. Aug 25, 2026mediasoup is a WebRTC video conferencing system.CVE-2026-55663 · Other software · versatica · reported by GitHubMedium 5.6
mediasoup is a WebRTC video conferencing system. From version 3.20.0 until 3.20.6 for the npm package and from 0.22.0 until 0.22.5 for the Rust crate, mediasoup's built-in SCTP stack authenticates state cookies using only the hardcoded msworker and 0xAD81 magic values instead of a per-instance secret and HMAC, contrary to RFC 9260 Section 5.1.3. The cookie structure and validation in worker/include/RTC/SCTP/association/StateCookie.hpp and worker/src/RTC/SCTP/association/StateCookie.cpp allow an on-path attacker targeting PlainTransport or PipeTransport with SCTP enabled and without DTLS protection to forge a COOKIE-ECHO whose packet verification tag matches the attacker-controlled localVerificationTag. The forged cookie passes StateCookie::IsMediasoupStateCookie() and Association::HandleReceivedCookieEchoChunk(), establishes an unauthorized SCTP association, and permits DataChannel message injection as a trusted peer. WebRtcTransport is not affected because its SCTP runs inside DTLS. This issue is fixed in npm version 3.20.6 and Rust crate version 0.22.5.

Aug 24, 2026Relative path traversal vulnerability in Apache Camel Google Storage component.CVE-2026-66907 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
Relative path traversal vulnerability in Apache Camel Google Storage component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.14.9, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.4, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.0. The camel-google-storage consumer downloads Google Cloud Storage objects to the local filesystem when the downloadFileName option is set. That option is documented as a folder or a filename, and when its value contains no expression token the consumer builds the local destination by appending the object name to it: evaluateFileExpression sets the Exchange file-name header to the remote object name and evaluates downloadFileName + "/${file:name}". The ${file:name} token returns the file-name header verbatim, unlike ${file:onlyname}, which applies FileUtil.stripPath to it. The resulting string was passed directly to new File(result) and blob.downloadTo(file.toPath()) with no lexical normalization and no check that the destination stayed inside the configured directory. The object name is not route-controlled data: the consumer lists the bucket, iterates every returned blob and creates one exchange per object from blob.getBlobId().getName() verbatim, and the filter option that could restri

Aug 24, 2026Relative path traversal vulnerability in Apache Camel Azure Storage Blob component.CVE-2026-66906 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.1
Relative path traversal vulnerability in Apache Camel Azure Storage Blob component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.14.9, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.4, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.0. The camel-azure-storage-blob component can download an Azure Storage blob to the local filesystem through its downloadBlobToFile operation, writing into the directory named by the fileDir endpoint option, which is documented as usable from both the producer and the consumer. BlobOperations.downloadBlobToFile built the local target by joining fileDir with the remote blob name exactly as the Azure SDK reported it (new File(fileDir, client.getBlobName())) and passed the result straight to the SDK download call, with no lexical normalization and no check that the resolved location stayed inside fileDir. The blob name is not route-controlled data: the consumer enumerates the container in BlobConsumer.createBatchExchangesFromContainer, which lists blobs and creates one exchange per entry from BlobItem.getName() verbatim, applying no name filtering by default. A blob name containing parent-directory segments therefore resolved to a location outside the configured fileDir, letting anyone ab

Aug 24, 2026A path traversal vulnerability was found in AWX's project archive extraction.CVE-2026-71364 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.2
A path traversal vulnerability was found in AWX's project archive extraction. The project_archive action plugin extracts zip and tar archive members by joining the project directory path with the member filename without performing path normalization, boundary validation, or rejecting directory traversal sequences. A malicious archive containing members with path traversal components can write files to arbitrary locations on the execution node's filesystem outside the intended project directory. An attacker who controls the archive content, either through a compromised upstream source, a malicious archive URL, or a man-in-the-middle attack on a plain HTTP connection, can achieve arbitrary file writes as the user performing the extraction, potentially leading to remote code execution through mechanisms such as cron files, SSH authorized keys, or playbook content injection.

Aug 24, 2026RansomLook contains a path traversal vulnerability in the handling of the screen field associated with group posts.CVE-2026-78381 · Other software · ransomlook · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.2
RansomLook contains a path traversal vulnerability in the handling of the screen field associated with group posts. The GroupPost.get API handler concatenates the database-controlled screen value directly with the application's source/ directory and opens the resulting path without verifying that the resolved file remains within the intended directory. Because the screen field is free-form and can be populated either through the administrative post editor or through data imported from a remote RansomLook instance, a malicious upstream instance can provide traversal sequences such as ../config/generic.json. When the affected post is subsequently retrieved through the API, RansomLook resolves and reads the attacker-controlled path and returns the contents of the referenced file Base64-encoded in the API response. This can allow an attacker (being admin) controlling imported post data to read arbitrary files accessible to the RansomLook process, potentially exposing sensitive configuration data, API credentials, password hashes, or other application secrets. The attack does not require the malicious upstream to possess an account on the affected RansomLook instance. The vulnerabili
