  • Sep 16, 2026RestrictedPython is a tool that helps define a subset of the Python language for accepting program input in a trusted environment.CVE-2026-76825 · Other software · zopefoundation · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

RestrictedPython is a tool that helps define a subset of the Python language for accepting program input in a trusted environment. Prior to 8.4, RestrictedPython could allow a sandbox escape when a custom import policy or globals exposed the standard library string module, the string.Formatter class, a Formatter instance, or a Formatter subclass to restricted code. The string.Formatter methods format, get_field, get_value, and vformat performed attribute and item traversal internally without passing through RestrictedPython's safer_getattr protections. Restricted code could use those live object references to reach function globals, builtins, file access, or code execution primitives, affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability in the host environment. This issue is fixed in version 8.4.

  • Sep 16, 2026For a secondary zone with transfers restricted by TSIG, `named` may start to serve the data provided in a zone transfer before the final message with the TSIG sCVE-2026-19033 · Other software · ISC · reported by security-officer@isc.orgMedium 6.5

For a secondary zone with transfers restricted by TSIG, `named` may start to serve the data provided in a zone transfer before the final message with the TSIG signature arrives. This could allow an attacker that does not actually possess a valid TSIG signature to send unauthorized zone contents to a secondary server. Although no TSIG signature ever arrives, `named` does not rollback to the pre-transfer state. To exploit the vulnerability, the transfer must be a multi-message TCP IXFR, as described by RFC 8945. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.21.0 through 9.21.25, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1.

  • Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rkvdec: hevc: guard INTER_REF_PIC_SET_PRED index underflow st_ref_pic_set_predictioCVE-2026-89882 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rkvdec: hevc: guard INTER_REF_PIC_SET_PRED index underflow st_ref_pic_set_prediction() computes the reference RPS index as st_rps_idx - (delta_idx_minus1 + 1) per HEVC spec equation 7-59. Both operands are u8, so when delta_idx_minus1 + 1 exceeds the current index the subtraction wraps and the subsequent array access at calculated_rps_st_sets[ref_rps_idx] reads far out of bounds. A userspace V4L2 client that can open the RKVDEC m2m decoder can submit an EXT_SPS_ST_RPS control with INTER_REF_PIC_SET_PRED set and delta_idx_minus1 crafted to trigger the underflow. Reject the entry early when the reference index would underflow.

  • Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Add TLB flush after MES queue eviction/suspension MES (Micro Engine Scheduler)CVE-2026-89811 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Add TLB flush after MES queue eviction/suspension MES (Micro Engine Scheduler) does not perform heavy-weight TLB invalidation after unmapping queues, unlike HWS which does this automatically. This causes a race condition where in-flight DMA descriptors can access memory that has been unmapped, leading to page faults and GPU queue hangs during SVM page migration. The issue manifests as KFDSVMRangeTest.MultiThreadMigrationTest failures on gfx1151 (Strix Point) with XNACK mode 1 enabled - the GPU compute queue hangs with packets submitted but never consumed. Add kfd_flush_tlb() calls after MES queue removal in two locations: - evict_process_queues_cpsch(): after all queues removed during eviction - suspend_queues(): after debug/criu queue suspension (with mem_fence barrier) This ensures all in-flight memory accesses from unmapped queues are flushed before memory is freed or migrated. Because the token is never rotated, this exposure persists indefinitely even after the underlying secret-disclosure vector is patched, unless the Joomla secret itself is also rotated. The attack complexity (`AC:H`) is high because it depends on the secret already being known through a separate vector; it is not directly exploitable by an anonymous visitor with no other foothold.

  • Sep 15, 2026Conflibot warns in advance when merging a pull request will cause conflicts in other open pull requests.CVE-2026-55158 · Other software · wktk · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Conflibot warns in advance when merging a pull request will cause conflicts in other open pull requests. Prior to 1.2.1, src/index.ts builds git checkout, git merge, and git format-patch commands by interpolating the attacker-controlled pull request head.ref value into strings passed to exec. In the documented pull_request_target configuration, an attacker can open a pull request, including from a fork, whose branch name contains shell metacharacters, and the workflow automatically interprets those characters as commands without maintainer interaction. The commands execute on a runner with base-repository secrets and a write-scoped GITHUB_TOKEN, allowing arbitrary command execution, secret or token exfiltration, unauthorized pushes, and other token abuse. The fixed implementations in src/index.ts and src/conflibot.ts use execFile or spawn argument arrays, and the v2 line also uses numeric pull-request refs rather than branch names. This issue is fixed in versions 1.2.1 and 2.0.0.

  • Sep 15, 2026Affected versions of MISP expose several state-changing controller actions without restricting them to POST.CVE-2026-91857 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

Affected versions of MISP expose several state-changing controller actions without restricting them to POST. The affected actions are:  - EventReportsController::purgeUnusedPictures()  - NoticelistsController::enableNoticelist()  - ServersController::removeOrphanedCorrelations()  - WorkflowsController::rebuildRedis() The patch adds allowMethod(['post']) to each action, preventing them from being triggered through ordinary GET requests. For purgeUnusedPictures(), the corresponding UI previously used $.get(). The fix converts that request to POST and supplies X-CSRF-Token, while the controller enables header-only CSRF validation for that AJAX action. Because GET requests can be induced cross-origin through links, images, redirects, or navigation, accepting GET for these state-changing operations can let an attacker trigger them using the authenticated victim's session. Affected versions of MISP incorrectly filter dashboard templates that are restricted to a specific permission flag. DashboardsController::listTemplates() allowed a template when either:  - its restrict_to_permission_flag matched one of the current user’s permission flags, or  - restrict_to_permission_flag equaled integer 0 However, restrict_to_permission_flag is a varchar. MySQL therefore performed numeric coercion when comparing the column against integer 0. Strings such as perm_site_admin convert numerically to zero, making expressions such as perm_site_admin = 0 evaluate true and causing the “unrestricted” branch to match permission-restricted templates as well. • Sep 14, 2026In Eclipse Ankaios versions 0.1.0 through 1.0.2, the agent creates workload files and Control Interface named pipes (FIFOs) under a predictable path derived froCVE-2026-86836 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.4

In Eclipse Ankaios versions 0.1.0 through 1.0.2, the agent creates workload files and Control Interface named pipes (FIFOs) under a predictable path derived from the agent name and a hash of the workload's runtime configuration. If a directory or FIFO already exists at that path when the agent (re)starts, the agent reuses it based only on an existence and/or file-type check, without validating its owner or permissions. A local, unprivileged user with write access to the same base directory (by default under `$TMPDIR/ankaios`, e.g. shared `/tmp`) can pre-create this path hierarchy, including the two Control Interface FIFOs, before the agent starts. The agent then treats the attacker-owned FIFOs as the legitimate Control Interface for the targeted workload. The attacker can complete the Control Interface handshake and issue requests using that workload's configured `controlInterfaceAccess` permissions, allowing impersonation of the workload and, depending on its configured permissions, unauthorized reading and/or modification of the cluster's desired state.

  • Sep 14, 2026Affected versions of MISP serve uploaded SVG images inline without a restrictive browser sandbox.CVE-2026-90957 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.1

Affected versions of MISP serve uploaded SVG images inline without a restrictive browser sandbox. The commit explains that SVG files are XML documents rather than passive bitmap images. While scripts inside SVG do not execute when the SVG is rendered through a normal <img>, they can execute when the SVG is navigated to directly or embedded as a document. In that case, malicious <script> elements, event handlers, or javascript: URLs execute on the MISP origin with the viewer’s session. The affected use cases include:  - organisation SVG logos;  - event-report SVG pictures. Importantly, the vulnerable behavior is on the serve path, not merely the upload path: the patch notes that a malicious SVG uploaded while SVG support was enabled could remain dangerous even after uploads were later disabled. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
