Sep 26, 2026vLLM through 0.29.0 fetches and fully materializes remote or inline media before enforcing its documented media controls (the VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_CLIP_FILESIZE_MB coCVE-2026-100650 · Other software · vllm-project · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
vLLM through 0.29.0 fetches and fully materializes remote or inline media before enforcing its documented media controls (the VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_CLIP_FILESIZE_MB compressed-audio size cap, default 25 MB, and the per-modality --limit-mm-per-prompt item limits). Across four ingress paths — the shared media-acquisition layer (HTTPConnection.get_bytes()/async_get_bytes()), the chat completions audio_url/base64 path, the batch speech runner, and the Rust frontend POST /tokenize route — the server reads the entire HTTP response body, base64-decodes the inline payload, or spawns one fetch/decode task per media part, and only then applies the limit (or, on some paths, never applies it). A remote attacker can therefore cause the API server or batch-runner process to allocate memory and consume outbound bandwidth proportional to an attacker-chosen body size or media item count before the request is rejected, resulting in pre-inference memory and bandwidth exhaustion (denial of service). The chat and batch surfaces require an API key when one is configured; the Rust frontend /tokenize route is unauthenticated by design. There is no code execution or data disclosure impact.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.5.12 and < 2026.8.1 do not immediately invalidate Canvas HTTP authorization when a paired node is revoked.CVE-2026-100554 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.3
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.5.12 and < 2026.8.1 do not immediately invalidate Canvas HTTP authorization when a paired node is revoked. Node revocation invalidates the WebSocket client, but Canvas HTTP authorization continues to accept and renew the previously granted capability until WebSocket close cleanup completes. As a result, a revoked paired node can continue exercising its Canvas capability against the capability's configured routes during the close grace period. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1; as a workaround, restart the Gateway after revoking a node that has Canvas access.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw's Discord integration (npm package @openclaw/discord) before version 2026.9.3 could lose the sender-scoped media policy in the emoji and sticker uploadCVE-2026-100526 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6
OpenClaw's Discord integration (npm package @openclaw/discord) before version 2026.9.3 could lose the sender-scoped media policy in the emoji and sticker upload actions before loading a local file. A sender permitted to invoke those actions could cause OpenClaw to read a host path that the same sender's configured media roots would otherwise reject, placing bytes from an out-of-policy local file into an outbound emoji or sticker upload. Exploitation requires access to the guild asset action and knowledge or derivation of a useful local path; the issue does not permit unrestricted filesystem browsing or code execution. The issue is fixed in @openclaw/discord 2026.9.3.

Sep 25, 2026The OpenClaw Prometheus diagnostics plugin (@openclaw/diagnostics-prometheus) before version 2026.9.3 does not enforce the operator.read scope on its authenticaCVE-2026-100525 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
The OpenClaw Prometheus diagnostics plugin (@openclaw/diagnostics-prometheus) before version 2026.9.3 does not enforce the operator.read scope on its authenticated metrics endpoint. In deployments using an identity-bearing Gateway authentication mode such as trusted-proxy, a caller whose effective role has no read scope can retrieve the diagnostics document even though ordinary read methods reject the same identity, disclosing operational metrics to an authenticated profile intentionally limited below read access. Shared-secret Gateway callers already hold the documented full operator scope and are not affected. The issue is fixed in 2026.9.3; as a workaround, disable the Prometheus endpoint or ensure every identity that can reach it is intended to hold operator.read.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rkvdec: bound HEVC tile loops and PPS id to the array capacity compute_tiles_uniform() and compute_tiles_non_uniform() loop over num_tile_columns_minus1 + 1 / num_tile_rows_minus1 + 1 entries, and assemble_hw_pps() writes one COLUMN_WIDTH / ROW_HEIGHT register per tile and indexes priv_tbl->param_set[] by pic_parameter_set_id, all taken from the untrusted PPS. Use the bounded v4l2_hevc_pps_num_tile_columns() / v4l2_hevc_pps_num_tile_rows() helpers for the tile loops, and bail out of assemble_hw_pps() before indexing priv_tbl->param_set[] with an out-of-range pic_parameter_set_id, so the writes stay within the hardware tables.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: verisilicon: rockchip: guard VPU981 AV1 divisor and tile buffer rockchip_vpu981_av1CVE-2026-97578 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: verisilicon: rockchip: guard VPU981 AV1 divisor and tile buffer rockchip_vpu981_av1_dec_set_tile_info() divides context_update_tile_id by tile_info->tile_cols and writes one descriptor per tile into the tile_info DMA buffer, which holds AV1_MAX_TILES entries; tile_cols and tile_rows come from the bitstream. Guard the division against a zero tile_cols by initialising the context-update values to zero and computing them only when tile_cols is non-zero, and stop the descriptor writes once the tile_info buffer is full. The tile geometry written to the hardware registers is left unmodified; the per-dimension and total tile bounds are enforced by the control validation.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: verisilicon: rockchip: reject AV1 frames exceeding the tile capacity rockchip_vpu98CVE-2026-97577 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: verisilicon: rockchip: reject AV1 frames exceeding the tile capacity rockchip_vpu981_av1_dec_set_tile_info() indexes the tile group entry array by tile1 * tile_cols + tile0, reading up to tile_cols * tile_rows entries, lays out one descriptor per tile in the AV1_MAX_TILES tile_info buffer, and programs the real tile_cols / tile_rows into the hardware. The tile group entry control is a dynamic array sized to the number of entries userspace submitted, independent of tile_cols / tile_rows, so a frame that claims more tiles than entries reads past the array. A frame that claims more than AV1_MAX_TILES tiles also leaves the hardware programmed for more tiles than the descriptor buffer holds. Reject both in prepare_run(): tile_cols * tile_rows must not exceed the submitted entry count or AV1_MAX_TILES. The entry count is read via v4l2_ctrl_find() (ctrl->elems). This mirrors the bound the mediatek AV1 decoder already enforces.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-ctrls: validate HEVC tile counts The stateless HEVC decoders read num_tile_columns_minus1 + 1 entries from column_width_minus1[] and num_tile_rows_minus1 + 1 from row_height_minus1[] and use them as tile-loop bounds, but std_validate_compound() does not bound these u8 counts. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-ctrls: validate AV1 tile counts The stateless AV1 decoders use tile_info.tile_cols and tile_rows as loop bounds and as indices into the mi_*_starts[] and *_in_sbs_minus_1[] arrays, as the divisor for context_update_tile_id, and their product bounds the per-tile descriptor buffers, but std_validate_compound() does not bound these u8 fields. Reject a V4L2_CTRL_TYPE_AV1_FRAME whose tile_cols or tile_rows exceeds V4L2_AV1_MAX_TILE_COLS / _ROWS, or whose product exceeds V4L2_AV1_MAX_TILE_COUNT. A zero tile count is left to the consuming driver so the zero-initialised control that existing userspace submits is still accepted.

Sep 25, 2026Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-92829 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to view, modify, or delete other users' Blog2Social records, including disclosing another user's network authentication IDs and scheduled post content, overwriting Open Graph and Twitter Card post metadata on posts they do not own, rebinding another user's social-network authorization, and mass-hiding all users' scheduled posts sitewide. The plugin's b2s_security_nonce is emitted on the post-edit meta box, which Contributors can render, making the nonce available to any authenticated user at that role level or above.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Fix Reports from Kernel Lock Validator handle_dynamic_resolution change requires that the state_lock be acquired based on the lockdep_assert_held. However, the handle_dynamic_resolution_change call in initialize_sequence does not properly obtain the lock before calling. Since the v4l2_ctrl_find and s_ctrl can sleep, they should not be called while a lock is already held. Store off the fbc_buf_count then properly update control once lock has been freed.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: mediatek: paris: bypass pinctrl GPIO layer in set GPIO direction pinctrl_gpio_dirCVE-2026-97501 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: mediatek: paris: bypass pinctrl GPIO layer in set GPIO direction pinctrl_gpio_direction_input() / pinctrl_gpio_direction_output() take the pinctrl mutex. This causes a gpiochip operations to need to sleep. Worse yet, the .can_sleep field in the gpiochip is not set. This causes the shared GPIO proxy to trip over, as it uses gpiod_cansleep() to check whether it can use a spinlock or needs a mutex. In this case, it ends up taking a spinlock, then calls pinctrl_gpio_direction_output(), which takes a mutex. This causes a huge warning. While this class of Mediatek hardware does not have separate clear/set registers, the pinctrl context has a spinlock that is taken whenever a register read-modify-write is done. Also, once the GPIO function is selected / muxed in, further GPIO operations do not involve pinctrl operations or state. The GPIO direction and level values do not require toggling the pinmux or any other pin config options. Switch to directly calling mtk_pinmux_gpio_set_direction() in the GPIO set direction callbacks to avoid taking the pinctrl mutex. Drop the .gpio_set_direction field in mtk_pmxops t

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: mediatek: mt8365-afe-pcm: fix possible NULL-pointer dereferences in mt8365_afe_suspend() mt8365_afe_suspend() allocates the register backup buffer with devm_kcalloc(), but does not check for allocation failure before using the returned pointer. This may lead to a NULL pointer dereference when accessing afe->reg_back_up[i]. Add the missing NULL check and return -ENOMEM on allocation failure after disabling the main clock. Also propagate the return value of mt8365_afe_suspend() in mt8365_afe_dev_runtime_suspend() so that the suspended state is not updated when suspend fails.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: meson: vdec: fix NULL pointer deref in vdec_try_fmt_common When VIDIOC_TRY_FMT is cCVE-2026-93236 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: meson: vdec: fix NULL pointer deref in vdec_try_fmt_common When VIDIOC_TRY_FMT is called with an unsupported pixel format on the OUTPUT queue, vdec_try_fmt_common() falls back to V4L2_PIX_FMT_MPEG2. However, if a distro has locally patched MPEG2 support out (as it has been broken for some time) the platform format table does not contain MPEG2 so find_format() returns NULL and the subsequent dereference of fmt_out->max_width triggers a NULL pointer dereference. Fix this by falling back to the first format in the platform's format array instead of hardcoding V4L2_PIX_FMT_MPEG2. This is always valid since every platform defines at least one format.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: media: tegra-video: fix of_node_put() on VIP parse errors tegra_vip_channel_of_paCVE-2026-93223 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: media: tegra-video: fix of_node_put() on VIP parse errors tegra_vip_channel_of_parse() initializes np from dev->of_node without taking a reference, but its error paths drop one through the err_node_put label. This underflows the refcount of the VIP device's OF node when endpoint parsing fails on a malformed device tree. The only reference the function takes on np is the success-path of_node_get() stored in vip->chan.of_node, and that one is already released by the tegra_vip_init() error path and by tegra_vip_exit(). Return errors directly instead of jumping to the bogus cleanup label.

Sep 24, 2026libvips 8.19.0 contains a memory access vulnerability when processing little-endian PFM images.CVE-2026-88360 · Other software · reported by MITREHigh 7.5
libvips 8.19.0 contains a memory access vulnerability when processing little-endian PFM images. If the PFM text header length is not a multiple of four bytes, the mmap-based loader can expose pixel data at an address that is not properly aligned for float access. vips_avg_scan() subsequently dereferences the buffer through a float pointer, resulting in undefined behavior and process termination on strict-alignment architectures or UBSan-instrumented builds, leading to denial of service.
