Aug 7, 2026An account holding the nexus:settings:update permission in Nexus Repository 3 (or the equivalent nexus:settings permission in the legacy Nexus Repository 2) couCVE-2026-17593 · Other software · Sonatype · reported by 103e4ec9-0a87-450b-af77-479448ddef11High 7.2
An account holding the nexus:settings:update permission in Nexus Repository 3 (or the equivalent nexus:settings permission in the legacy Nexus Repository 2) could submit arbitrary values as realm identifiers through an internal configuration API that did not validate them against the set of registered realms. Because unrecognized entries were persisted and re-evaluated on every realm load via a legacy code path, this could result in unintended code executing inside the Nexus Repository process, and in some cases a persistent authentication lockout that was not visible through the administrative UI.

Aug 6, 2026The official MonsterInsights Pro update distribution bucket (`monster-insights.s3.amazonaws.com`) was compromised.CVE-2026-11976 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanCritical 10
The official MonsterInsights Pro update distribution bucket (`monster-insights.s3.amazonaws.com`) was compromised. Both the current release (10.2.2) and the version MonsterInsights rolled back to (10.2.0) contain a malicious file, `class-system-check.php`. Three distinct variants were observed on 2026-06-11, all sharing the same AES-256-GCM key, confirming a single threat actor. The attacker retains write access to the S3 bucket and has been actively iterating on the payload throughout the day.

Aug 5, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: tear down new links on vif update error path When ieee80211_vif_update_linCVE-2026-64574 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: tear down new links on vif update error path When ieee80211_vif_update_links() adds new links it allocates a link container for each and calls ieee80211_link_init() (which registers the per-link debugfs files with file->private_data pointing into the container) and ieee80211_link_setup(). If the subsequent drv_change_vif_links() fails, the error path restores the old pointers and jumps to 'free', which frees the new containers but never removes their debugfs entries or stops the links. The debugfs files survive with file->private_data dangling at the freed container, so a later open()+read() (e.g. link-1/txpower) dereferences freed memory in ieee80211_if_read_link(), a use-after-free. The removal path already dismantles links correctly via ieee80211_tear_down_links(), which removes each link's keys and debugfs entries and calls ieee80211_link_stop(); the add path on the error branch does not. Commit be1ba9ed221f ("wifi: mac80211: avoid weird state in error path") hardened this same error path for the link-removal case (new_links == 0) but left the newly-added links' teardown unaddressed. drv_cha

Aug 3, 2026Time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) vulnerability combined with missing input validation in Caliptra Core ROM (UpdateResetFlow::run()) in subsystem mode allows aCVE-2026-11835 · Other software · Caliptra · reported by b01ddd03-5ef6-483b-b2c5-acba77f1a554Medium 5.7
Time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) vulnerability combined with missing input validation in Caliptra Core ROM (UpdateResetFlow::run()) in subsystem mode allows a compromised local attacker to silently bypass secure boot by supplying an AXI staging address that is not validated against the strap-configured SS_EXTERNAL_STAGING_AREA_BASE_ADDR, enabling firmware to be modified between verification and loading into ICCM. Attestation continues to report the originally verified image digest, masking the compromise. Exploitation requires a compromised MCU firmware with AXI manager access to unprotected SRAM reachable by Caliptra. This issue affects Core ROM: 2.1.0 through 2.1.1.

Aug 3, 2026The hawkBit device management client in subsys/mgmt/hawkbit accumulates the body of an HTTP response from the update server into a heap buffer in response_json_CVE-2026-10849 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 8.2
The hawkBit device management client in subsys/mgmt/hawkbit accumulates the body of an HTTP response from the update server into a heap buffer in response_json_cb() (subsys/mgmt/hawkbit/hawkbit.c). The buffer is sized to hold the received body bytes but reserves no space for a terminating NUL. When the full response has arrived, the code writes response_data[downloaded_size] = '\0' — and whenever the accumulated body length equals the allocation, that terminator lands one byte past the end of the heap object (a heap-based out-of-bounds write, CWE-122 / CWE-787). The body length and fragmentation are taken directly from the parsed HTTP response (rsp->body_frag_start / rsp->body_frag_len) and are fully controlled by the remote hawkBit server, which chooses its own response length. The precise trigger depends on how the buffer grows, and both forms are remotely reachable. Since v4.0.0 the reallocation is sized to exactly downloaded_size + body_len, so any response body larger than the 1100-byte initial buffer makes the out-of-bounds write deterministic; such response sizes are normal for hawkBit deployment metadata. Before v4.0.0 the buffer grew by doubling and the growth check ((dow

Aug 3, 2026Apache NiFI 1.10.0 through 2.10.0 provide a Parameter Context update REST API method that does not enforce authorization checking on components referencing ParaCVE-2026-68979 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.9
Apache NiFI 1.10.0 through 2.10.0 provide a Parameter Context update REST API method that does not enforce authorization checking on components referencing Parameter values. Updating a Parameter Context can change parameter values that affect referencing components, but framework authorization was limited to read and write privileges on the Parameter Context itself. As a result of the missing authorization, an authenticated user authorized to modify a Parameter Context, but not authorized on referencing components, could alter Parameter values affecting those components. In deployments where a Parameter value contains executable scripting content, updating a Parameter can result in code execution during automatic component validation, without starting the referencing component. The impact was limited to stopped components by existing verification checks, and the issue applies only to deployments that use component-level authorization policies. Upgrading to Apache NiFi 2.11.0 is the recommended mitigation, which aligns the Parameter Context update method authorization with other methods, adding authorization checking on affected components.

Aug 3, 2026eParakstītājs 3.0 for Windows before version 1.10.0 retrieves and executes its automatic updates over a channel that is not authenticated or integrity-protectedCVE-2026-0392 · Other software · Latvijas Valsts radio un televīzijas centrs (LVRTC) · reported by a6d3dc9e-0591-4a13-bce7-0f5b31ff6158High 7.3
eParakstītājs 3.0 for Windows before version 1.10.0 retrieves and executes its automatic updates over a channel that is not authenticated or integrity-protected. On each launch the application fetches an update descriptor (XML) over TLS but accepts any TLS certificate (a permissive TrustManager and a HostnameVerifier that always returns true), does not verify any digital signature on the update descriptor, and does not verify the Authenticode signature or a checksum of the downloaded installer before running it. A man-in-the-middle attacker able to redirect www.eparaksts.lv can serve a crafted update descriptor pointing to an attacker-controlled executable, which the client downloads and executes, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the victim host.

FreeRDP before 3.29.0 contains out-of-bounds read vulnerabilities in the async update message proxy for the PolygonSC and PolygonCB primary drawing orders. When AsyncUpdate is enabled (e.g., xfreerdp /async-update), update_message_PolygonSC() and update_message_PolygonCB() allocate a fresh points array but copy point data from the address of the order structure instead of from polygonSC->points / polygonCB->points, resulting in a client-side out-of-bounds read. FreeRDP before 3.29.0 contains client-side heap use-after-free vulnerabilities in the async update message proxy for RAIL WINDOW_STATE_ORDER and NOTIFY_ICON_STATE_ORDER when AsyncUpdate is enabled. When a malicious or compromised RDP server sends crafted update orders, the message proxy shallow-copies structures containing nested parser-owned pointers (e.g., titleInfo.string, windowRects, visibilityRects, icon buffers). The parser frees those nested buffers after the callback returns, so the queued async message later dispatches stale pointers, potentially causing memory corruption or a client crash.

FreeRDP before 3.29.0 contains a client-side heap use-after-free in the async update message proxy for WINDOW_ICON_ORDER when AsyncUpdate is enabled (e.g. xfreerdp /async-update). In update_message_WindowIcon() a shallow CopyMemory() overwrites a freshly allocated lParam->iconInfo with the parser-owned windowIcon->iconInfo pointer. After the parser callback returns, update_recv_window_info_order() frees window_icon.iconInfo, but the queued async message still retains and later dispatches that stale pointer. Aug 1, 2026FreeRDP before 3.29.0 (affected versions <= 3.28.0) contains a heap out-of-bounds read in update_process_glyph_fragments()/glyph_cache_fragment_put() in libfreeCVE-2026-67291 · Other software · FreeRDP · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
FreeRDP before 3.29.0 (affected versions <= 3.28.0) contains a heap out-of-bounds read in update_process_glyph_fragments()/glyph_cache_fragment_put() in libfreerdp/cache/glyph.c. When handling a GLYPH_FRAGMENT_ADD update, the code reads a one-byte server-controlled declared fragment size but does not verify it fits within the remaining received buffer before allocating and copying that many bytes. A malicious RDP server can send a short fragment with an oversized declared size, causing the client to read beyond the allocated buffer, resulting in an out-of-bounds read and client crash.

Jul 29, 2026Easy Appointments: Does not verify that the appointment targeted by its customer-data update action belongs to the current user; the action only checks a shared nonce that any authenticated user can obtain from their ownCVE-2026-14224 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.4
The Easy Appointments WordPress plugin before 3.12.28 does not verify that the appointment targeted by its customer-data update action belongs to the current user; the action only checks a shared nonce that any authenticated user can obtain from their own appointment's edit form. A subscriber-level user with an appointment of their own can therefore reuse that nonce to overwrite the customer metadata (email, name, phone, description) of another user's appointment. Because the Easy Appointments WordPress plugin before 3.12.28 then treats that metadata as the appointment's contact data, a subsequent administrator status change with customer notifications enabled delivers the victim's appointment notification to the attacker-controlled email address.

Jul 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: bound NTFS_DE view.data_off in UpdateRecordData{Root,Allocation} In do_action()'CVE-2026-64532 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: bound NTFS_DE view.data_off in UpdateRecordData{Root,Allocation} In do_action()'s UpdateRecordDataRoot (fslog.c:3489) and UpdateRecordDataAllocation (fslog.c:3697) cases, the memmove destination is `Add2Ptr(e, le16_to_cpu(e->view.data_off))`, where e->view.data_off comes from an on-disk NTFS_DE inside an INDEX_ROOT or INDEX_BUFFER. Neither case validates view.data_off + dlen against e->size; the existing check_if_index_root / check_if_alloc_index helpers walk the entry chain and validate the entry's offset, but not its internal view fields. The neighbouring read sites (e.g., fs/ntfs3/index.c when iterating view entries) check view.data_off + view.data_size <= e->size. Apply the same bound at the two memmove sites. Reproduced under UML+KASAN on mainline 8d90b09e6741 via pr_warn-only probe instrumentation: with view.data_off forced to 0xFFFC, the memmove writes 32 bytes past the end of the NTFS_DE. This is similar in shape to Pavitra Jha's 2026-05-02 patch "fs/ntfs3: prevent oob in case UpdateRecordDataRoot" (<20260502105008.21827-1-jhapavitra98@gmail.com>) which proposes calling ntfs3_bad_de_range()

Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Unconditionally recompute CR8 intercept on PPR update The TPR_THRESHOLD field inCVE-2026-64513 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Unconditionally recompute CR8 intercept on PPR update The TPR_THRESHOLD field in the VMCS is used by VMX to induce VM exits when the guest's virtual TPR falls under the specified threshold, allowing KVM to inject previously masked interrupts. KVM handles these VM exits in handle_tpr_below_threshold(). Commit eb90f3417a0c ("KVM: vmx: speed up TPR below threshold vmexits") optimized this function by calling apic_update_ppr() instead of raising KVM_REQ_EVENT. apic_update_ppr() then raises KVM_REQ_EVENT if there is a pending, deliverable interrupt. However, if there are no new interrupts pending, apic_update_ppr() does not issue the request. Thus, kvm_lapic_update_cr8_intercept() and vmx_update_cr8_intercept() are not called before VM entry, which results in a high, stale TPR_THRESHOLD. This is problematic due to the following sentence in 28.2.1.1 "VM-Execution Control Fields" in the SDM: The following check is performed if the “use TPR shadow” VM-execution control is 1 and the “virtualize APIC accesses” and “virtual-interrupt delivery” VM-execution controls are both 0: the value of bits 3:0 of t

Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix OOB read in update_beacon_info() IE loop The IE parsing loop in upCVE-2026-64443 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix OOB read in update_beacon_info() IE loop The IE parsing loop in update_beacon_info() advances by (pIE->length + 2) each iteration but only guards on i < len. When a malicious AP sends a Beacon whose last IE has only one byte remaining in the frame (the element_id byte lands at len-1), the loop reads pIE->length from one byte past the allocated receive buffer. Additionally, even when the header bytes are in bounds, pIE->length itself can extend the data window beyond len, passing a truncated IE to the handler functions. Add two guards at the top of the loop body: 1. Break if fewer than sizeof(*pIE) bytes remain (can't read header). 2. Break if the IE's declared data extends past len. Also replace i += (pIE->length + 2) with i += sizeof(*pIE) + pIE->length for consistency with the sizeof(*pIE) guards added above.

Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: proc: protect ptrace_may_access() with exec_update_lock (FD links) proc_pid_get_link() andCVE-2026-64375 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: proc: protect ptrace_may_access() with exec_update_lock (FD links) proc_pid_get_link() and proc_pid_readlink() currently look up the task from the pid once, then do the ptrace access check on that task, then look up the task from the pid a second time to do the actual access. That's racy in several ways. To fix it, pass the task to the ->proc_get_link() handler, and instead of proc_fd_access_allowed(), introduce a new helper call_proc_get_link() that looks up and locks the task, does the access check, and calls ->proc_get_link().
