Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.6.11, the unprocessed entities read endpoints in @backstage/plugin-catalog-backend-module-unprocessed do not enforce permission authorization checks. Any authenticated user can access unprocessed entity records regardless of ownership. This is an information disclosure vulnerability affecting Backstage installations using this module. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix potential out-of-bounds read in rtw_restruct_wmm_ie The current code checks 'i + 5 < in_len' at the end of the if statement. However, it accesses 'in_ie[i + 5]' before that check, which can lead to an out-of-bounds read. Move the length check to the beginning of the conditional to ensure the index is within bounds before accessing the array.

  • May 7, 2026i18nextify is a JavaScript library that adds website internationalization via a script tag, without source code changes.CVE-2026-41692 · Other software · i18next · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

i18nextify is a JavaScript library that adds website internationalization via a script tag, without source code changes. Versions prior to 4.0.8 substitute {{key}} interpolation tokens inside src and href attribute values with the raw string returned by i18next.t(). The substitution logic in src/localize.js (the replaceInside handler) only guards against a duplicated http:// origin prefix — it does not validate the URL scheme of the substituted value. A translated value such as javascript:alert(1) or data:text/html,<script>...</script> is applied unchanged to the live DOM attribute when an attacker can influence the content of a translation file or the translation-backend response — for example, via a compromised translation CDN, user-contributed locales, a MITM on a plain-HTTP backend, or write access to the translation JSON. This issue was patched in version 4.0.8.

Copilot said: i18nextify is a JavaScript library that adds i18nextify is a JavaScript library that adds website internationalization via a script tag, without source code changes. Versions prior to 3.0.5 interpolate the lng and ns values directly into the configured loadPath / addPath URL template without any encoding, validation, or path sanitisation. When an application exposes the language-code selection to user-controlled input (the default — i18next-browser-languagedetector reads ?lng= query params, cookies, localStorage, and request headers), an attacker can inject characters that change the structure of the outgoing request URL. This is a single URL-injection vulnerability. The attacker-controlled value is neutralised before it is used as part of an output URL string; the attack shape covers both path traversal and broader URL-structure injection — both are closed by the one interpolateUrl sanitisation fix. This issue has been fixed in version 3.0.5. If users cannot upgrade immediately, they can work around the issue by sanitising lng / ns before they reach i18next (strip .., /, \, ?, #, %, whitespace, and control characters; cap the length).

  • May 4, 2026Apache Polaris can issue broad temporary ("vended") storage credentials during staged table creation before the effective table location has been validated or dCVE-2026-42809 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.4

Apache Polaris can issue broad temporary ("vended") storage credentials during staged table creation before the effective table location has been validated or durably reserved. Those temporary credentials are meant to limit the scope of accessible table data and metadata, but this scope limitation becomes attacker- directed because the attacker can choose a reachable target location. In the confirmed variant, if the caller supplies a custom `location` during stage create and requests credential vending, Apache Polaris uses that location to construct delegated storage credentials immediately. The stage-create path itself neither runs the normal location validation nor the overlap checks before those credentials are issued. Closely related to that, the staged-create flow also accepts `write.data.path` / `write.metadata.path` in the request properties and feeds those location overrides into the same effective table location set used for credential vending. Those fields are secondary to the main custom-`location` exploit, but they are still attacker-influenced location inputs that should be validated before any credentials are issued.

The Sentence To SEO (keywords, description and tags) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Permanent keywords' field in all versions up to and including 1.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The plugin reads user input via filter_input_array(INPUT_POST) which applies no HTML sanitization (FILTER_DEFAULT), stores it unsanitized to the WordPress options table via update_option(), and then outputs the stored value directly into a textarea element without any escaping using PHP short echo tags (<?= ?>). • Apr 10, 2026An integer overflow existed in the wolfCrypt CMAC implementation, that could be exploited to forge CMAC tags.CVE-2026-5477 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comHigh 8.2

An integer overflow existed in the wolfCrypt CMAC implementation, that could be exploited to forge CMAC tags. The function wc_CmacUpdate used the guard `if (cmac->totalSz != 0)` to skip XOR-chaining on the first block (where digest is all-zeros and the XOR is a no-op). However, totalSz is word32 and wraps to zero after 2^28 block flushes (4 GiB), causing the guard to erroneously discard the live CBC-MAC chain state. Any two messages sharing a common suffix beyond the 4 GiB mark then produce identical CMAC tags, enabling a zero-work prefix-substitution forgery. The fix removes the guard, making the XOR unconditional; the no-op property on the first block is preserved because digest is zero-initialized by wc_InitCmac_ex.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
