  • May 22, 2026Vedrixa Forms – User Registration Form, Signup Form & Drag & Drop Form Builder: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-8692 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Vedrixa Forms – User Registration Form, Signup Form & Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the structure of any form — adding, removing, or altering fields — by writing attacker-controlled data to the plugin's FORMS database table. The 'ajax-nonce' nonce used by this handler is injected into the public frontend via wp_localize_script(), so any authenticated user who visits a page containing a form shortcode can obtain it without any elevated access.

The Fluent Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.21. This is due to the SubmissionPolicy class authorizing submission-level actions (read, modify, delete, add notes) based on a user-supplied `form_id` query parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Fluent Forms Manager access restricted to specific forms, to read, modify status, add notes to, and permanently delete form submissions belonging to any other form by spoofing the form_id parameter to a form they are authorized for.

  • May 14, 2026LearnPress – WordPress LMS Plugin for Create and Sell Online Courses: Payment bypass through user-controlled keyCVE-2026-7648 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The LearnPress – WordPress LMS Plugin for Create and Sell Online Courses plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to payment bypass through user-controlled key in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.5. This is due to improper handling of user-supplied request parameters in the REST API endpoint, which passes the unsanitized parameter array to the add_to_cart() function where array_merge() allows attacker-controlled values to overwrite hardcoded defaults. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to enroll in any paid course entirely free of charge by supplying a quantity value of zero, which causes the order total to calculate as $0 and bypasses all payment gateway requirements.

  • May 13, 2026Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-6965 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to and including 3.9.9. This is due to the `get_course_id_by()` function unconditionally trusting the user-supplied `course` GET parameter as the authoritative course ID for content ownership lookups, which is then consumed by `can_user_manage()`, the plugin's sole authorization gate for instructor-level operations, causing it to evaluate instructor membership against the attacker-controlled course rather than the course that actually owns the target content object. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with instructor-level access and above, to perform unauthorized operations on any other instructor's course content, including permanently deleting lessons, assignments, quizzes (with cascading deletion of all student attempt data), topics, announcements, and Q&A threads, as well as creating or modifying lessons, topics, and announcements in victim courses, manipulating student quiz grades, and reading unpublished lesson and quiz content.

  • May 7, 2026Forminator Forms: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-6214 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Forminator Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 1.53.0. This is due to the listen_for_saving_export_schedule() function in library/class-export.php failing to perform a capability check before saving the scheduled export configuration, unlike the parallel listen_for_csv_export() function which correctly verifies user permissions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access to configure a scheduled export job that emails all form submissions to an attacker-controlled email address, resulting in sensitive data exfiltration.

  • May 6, 2026Forminator Forms: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-6222 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Forminator Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 1.51.1. This is due to the `processRequest()` method in `Forminator_Admin_Module_Edit_Page` (admin/abstracts/class-admin-module-edit-page.php) dispatching sensitive module-management actions — including export, delete, clone, delete-entries, publish/draft, and bulk variants — after only a nonce check, without ever verifying that the current user holds the `manage_forminator_modules` capability. The nonce used (`forminator_form_request`) is unconditionally embedded in the global `forminatorData` JavaScript object and localized on every Forminator admin page, including Templates and Reports pages accessible to users who explicitly lack module-management permissions. Because `processRequest()` is invoked during the `admin_menu` action hook — which fires before WordPress enforces page-level capability checks — a user whose Forminator role is restricted to Templates or Reports can craft a valid POST request targeting any published module and successfully trigger the vulnerable actions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access (or any cus

The Fluent Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in versions up to and including 6.2.1. This is due to insufficient path validation in the getAttachments() method of EmailNotificationActions, which resolves attacker-supplied file-upload URLs into filesystem paths without verifying that the resolved path stays inside the WordPress uploads directory: a strpos() prefix check on the raw URL can be bypassed with traversal sequences, wp_normalize_path() does not resolve ".\..\" segments, and file_exists() then resolves them at the kernel level. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator access to read arbitrary files readable by the web-server user — including wp-config.php with its database credentials and authentication salts — by submitting a form whose admin notification is configured to attach a file-upload field and supplying a crafted URL of the shape <upload_baseurl>/../../<target> as the file-field value. The resolved file is attached to the outbound admin-notification email via wp_mail(). While the email can be triggered by unauthenticated users, the email recipient is not user-controlled.

  • May 2, 2026Gravity Forms: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5113 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Consent field hidden inputs in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to a flawed state validation mechanism that fails open when input is sanitized by wp_kses(), combined with insufficient output escaping. The state validation logic creates two hashes (raw input and wp_kses-sanitized input) and only fails validation if BOTH hashes don't match the original state. When an attacker injects XSS payloads using tags stripped by wp_kses() (like <svg>), the sanitized hash matches while the malicious raw value is preserved and saved to the database. When administrators view the Entries List page, the stored malicious consent label is retrieved and output without escaping, causing the XSS payload to execute. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in entries that will execute whenever an authenticated administrator accesses the entries list page.

  • May 2, 2026Gravity Forms: Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5112 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient input validation and output escaping of Calculation Product field product names when rendered inside Repeater fields. The validate() method in the GF_Field_Calculation class only validates the quantity field (.3) and completely ignores the product name field (.1), allowing malicious HTML to pass through validation. When the value is saved, the sanitize_entry_value() method returns the raw value without sanitization for fields where HTML is not expected. Subsequently, when an entry is viewed in wp-admin, the get_value_entry_detail() method concatenates the unescaped product name directly into the output string, which is then rendered by the repeater's get_value_entry_detail() method without further escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via form submissions that will execute whenever an authenticated administrator with the gravityforms_view_entries capability accesses the entry detail page.

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient input validation and output escaping on Hidden Product field values when used inside Repeater fields, where repeater subfields bypass state validation checks and the Hidden Product validate() method only validates the quantity field while ignoring the product name field that is later output without proper escaping in the get_value_entry_detail() method. • May 2, 2026Gravity Forms: Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5110 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient input validation and output escaping in the SingleProduct field when used inside a Repeater field. When SingleProduct fields are nested within Repeater fields, the validation flow bypasses the state validation mechanism (failed_state_validation()) that would normally prevent tampering with field values. The validate_subfield() method only calls the field's validate() method, which for SingleProduct fields only validates the quantity field and does not check the product name field for tampering. As a result, an attacker can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into the product name field (input .1). This malicious input is then saved to the database without sanitization because sanitize_entry_value() returns raw values when HTML is not expected for the field type. When an administrator views the entry in wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_entries, the get_value_entry_detail() method outputs the product name without escaping, causing the stored XSS payload to execute in the administrator's browser. The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient validation and output escaping of Product Option field values. The vulnerability exists because the state validation function accepts submitted values where the wp_kses()-sanitized version matches a legitimate option value, but then stores the raw unsanitized value in the database. When administrators view entry details via the Order Summary section, the option_label is output directly without escaping (view-order-summary.php line 32), executing the injected JavaScript. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in entry data that will execute whenever an administrator accesses the entry details page.

  • Apr 20, 2026Everest Forms: Arbitrary File Read and DeletionCVE-2026-5478 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Everest Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read and Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.4. This is due to the plugin trusting attacker-controlled old_files data from public form submissions as legitimate server-side upload state, and converting attacker-supplied URLs into local filesystem paths using regex-based string replacement without canonicalization or directory boundary enforcement. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary local files (e.g., wp-config.php) by injecting path-traversal payloads into the old_files upload field parameter, which are then attached to notification emails. The same path resolution is also used in the post-email cleanup routine, which calls unlink() on the resolved path, resulting in the targeted file being deleted after being attached. This can lead to full site compromise through disclosure of database credentials and authentication salts from wp-config.php, and denial of service through deletion of critical files. Prerequisite: The form must contain a file-upload or image-upload field, and disable storing entry information.

The cms-fuer-motorrad-werkstaetten plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to and including 1.0.0. This is due to missing nonce validation on all eight AJAX deletion handlers: vehicles_cfmw_d_vehicle, contacts_cfmw_d_contact, suppliers_cfmw_d_supplier, receipts_cfmw_d_receipt, positions_cfmw_d_position, catalogs_cfmw_d_article, stock_cfmw_d_item, and settings_cfmw_d_catalog. None of these handlers call check_ajax_referer() or wp_verify_nonce(), nor do they perform any capability checks via current_user_can(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary vehicles, contacts, suppliers, receipts, positions, catalog articles, stock items, or entire supplier catalogs via a forged request, provided they can trick a logged-in user into performing an action such as clicking a link to a malicious page.

  • Apr 17, 2026Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution: Unauthorized course content manipulationCVE-2026-5502 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized course content manipulation in versions up to and including 3.9.8. This is due to a missing authorization check in the tutor_update_course_content_order() function. The function only validates the nonce (CSRF protection) but does not verify whether the user has permission to manage course content. The can_user_manage() authorization check only executes when the 'content_parent' parameter is present in the request. When this parameter is omitted, the function proceeds directly to save_course_content_order() which manipulates the wp_posts table without any authorization validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to detach all lessons from any topic, move lessons between topics, and modify the menu_order of course content, effectively allowing them to disrupt the structure of any course on the site.

  • Apr 16, 2026MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin for Online Courses and Education: Time-based Blind SQL InjectionCVE-2026-4817 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin for Online Courses and Education plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Time-based Blind SQL Injection via the 'order' and 'orderby' parameters in the /lms/stm-lms/order/items REST API endpoint in versions up to and including 3.7.25. This is due to insufficient input sanitization combined with a design flaw in the custom Query builder class that allows unquoted SQL injection in ORDER BY clauses. When the Query builder detects parentheses in the sort_by parameter, it treats the value as a SQL function and directly concatenates it into the ORDER BY clause without any quoting. While esc_sql() is applied to escape quotes and backslashes, this cannot prevent ORDER BY injection when the values themselves are not wrapped in quotes in the resulting SQL statement. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append arbitrary SQL queries via the ORDER BY clause to extract sensitive information from the database including user credentials, session tokens, and other confidential data through time-based blind SQL injection techniques.
