Dec 5, 2025Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) is a learning system that helps users structure their content.CVE-2025-66581 · Other software · frappe · reported by GitHubLow 1.3
Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) is a learning system that helps users structure their content. Prior to 2.41.0, a flaw in the server-side authorization logic allowed authenticated users to perform actions beyond their assigned roles across multiple features. Because the affected endpoints relied on client-side or UI-level checks instead of enforcing permissions on the server, users with low-privileged roles (such as students) could perform operations intended only for instructors or administrators via directly using the API's. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.41.0.

Dec 4, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix scx_enable() crash on helper kthread creation failure A crash was observed CVE-2025-40260 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix scx_enable() crash on helper kthread creation failure A crash was observed when the sched_ext selftests runner was terminated with Ctrl+\ while test 15 was running: NIP [c00000000028fa58] scx_enable.constprop.0+0x358/0x12b0 LR [c00000000028fa2c] scx_enable.constprop.0+0x32c/0x12b0 Call Trace: scx_enable.constprop.0+0x32c/0x12b0 (unreliable) bpf_struct_ops_link_create+0x18c/0x22c __sys_bpf+0x23f8/0x3044 sys_bpf+0x2c/0x6c system_call_exception+0x124/0x320 system_call_vectored_common+0x15c/0x2ec kthread_run_worker() returns an ERR_PTR() on failure rather than NULL, but the current code in scx_alloc_and_add_sched() only checks for a NULL helper. Incase of failure on SIGQUIT, the error is not handled in scx_alloc_and_add_sched() and scx_enable() ends up dereferencing an error pointer. Error handling is fixed in scx_alloc_and_add_sched() to propagate PTR_ERR() into ret, so that scx_enable() jumps to the existing error path, avoiding random dereference on failure.

Dec 3, 2025The Aquarius HelperTool (1.0.003) privileged XPC service on macOS contains multiple flaws that allow local privilege escalation.CVE-2025-65842 · Other software · Acustica-audio · reported by MITREMedium 5.1
The Aquarius HelperTool (1.0.003) privileged XPC service on macOS contains multiple flaws that allow local privilege escalation. The service accepts XPC connections from any local process without validating the client's identity, and its authorization logic incorrectly calls AuthorizationCopyRights with a NULL reference, causing all authorization checks to succeed. The executeCommand:authorization:withReply: method then interpolates attacker-controlled input into NSTask and executes it with root privileges. A local attacker can exploit these weaknesses to run arbitrary commands as root, create persistent backdoors, or obtain a fully interactive root shell.

Nov 20, 2025The AuthKit library for Next.js provides convenient helpers for authentication and session management using WorkOS & AuthKit with Next.js.CVE-2025-64762 · Other software · workos · reported by GitHubHigh 8
The AuthKit library for Next.js provides convenient helpers for authentication and session management using WorkOS & AuthKit with Next.js. In authkit-nextjs version 2.11.0 and below, authenticated responses do not defensively apply anti-caching headers. In environments where CDN caching is enabled, this can result in session tokens being included in cached responses and subsequently served to multiple users. Next.js applications deployed on Vercel are unaffected unless they manually enable CDN caching by setting cache headers on authenticated paths. Patched in authkit-nextjs 2.11.1, which applies anti-caching headers to all responses behind authentication.

Oct 7, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: Avoid nf_ct_helper_hash uses after free If nf_conntrack_init_start()CVE-2023-53619 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: Avoid nf_ct_helper_hash uses after free If nf_conntrack_init_start() fails (for example due to a register_nf_conntrack_bpf() failure), the nf_conntrack_helper_fini() clean-up path frees the nf_ct_helper_hash map. When built with NF_CONNTRACK=y, further netfilter modules (e.g: netfilter_conntrack_ftp) can still be loaded and call nf_conntrack_helpers_register(), independently of whether nf_conntrack initialized correctly. This accesses the nf_ct_helper_hash dangling pointer and causes a uaf, possibly leading to random memory corruption. This patch guards nf_conntrack_helper_register() from accessing a freed or uninitialized nf_ct_helper_hash pointer and fixes possible uses-after-free when loading a conntrack module.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: Gadget: core: Help prevent panic during UVC unconfigure Avichal Rakesh reported a kernel panic that occurred when the UVC gadget driver was removed from a gadget's configuration. The panic involves a somewhat complicated interaction between the kernel driver and a userspace component (as described in the Link tag below), but the analysis did make one thing clear: The Gadget core should accomodate gadget drivers calling usb_gadget_deactivate() as part of their unbind procedure. Currently this doesn't work. gadget_unbind_driver() calls driver->unbind() while holding the udc->connect_lock mutex, and usb_gadget_deactivate() attempts to acquire that mutex, which will result in a deadlock. The simple fix is for gadget_unbind_driver() to release the mutex when invoking the ->unbind() callback. There is no particular reason for it to be holding the mutex at that time, and the mutex isn't held while the ->bind() callback is invoked. So we'll drop the mutex before performing the unbind callback and reacquire it afterward. We'll also add a couple of comments to usb_gadget_activate() and usb_gadget_deactivate().

Quadient DS-700 iQ devices through 2025-09-30 might have a race condition during the quick clicking of (in order) the Question Mark button, the Help Button, the About button, and the Help Button, leading to a transition out of kiosk mode into local administrative access. NOTE: the reporter indicates that the "behavior was observed sporadically" during "limited time on the client site," making it not "possible to gain more information about the specific kiosk mode crashing issue," and the only conclusion was "there appears to be some form of race condition." Accordingly, there can be doubt that a reproducible cybersecurity vulnerability was identified; sporadic software crashes can also be caused by a hardware fault on a single device (for example, transient RAM errors). The reporter also describes a variety of other issues, including initial access via USB because of the absence of a "lock-pick resistant locking solution for the External Controller PC cabinet," which is not a cybersecurity vulnerability (section 4.1.5 of the CNA Operational Rules). Finally, it is unclear whether the device or OS configuration was inappropriate, given that the risks are typically limited to insider

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/mediatek: fix potential OF node use-after-free The for_each_child_of_node() helper drops the reference it takes to each node as it iterates over children and an explicit of_node_put() is only needed when exiting the loop early. Drop the recently introduced bogus additional reference count decrement at each iteration that could potentially lead to a use-after-free.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: add vlan_get_protocol_and_depth() helper Before blamed commit, pskb_may_pull() was used instead of skb_header_pointer() in __vlan_get_protocol() and friends. Few callers depended on skb->head being populated with MAC header, syzbot caught one of them (skb_mac_gso_segment()) Add vlan_get_protocol_and_depth() to make the intent clearer and use it where sensible. This is a more generic fix than commit e9d3f80935b6 ("net/af_packet: make sure to pull mac header") which was dealing with a similar issue. kernel BUG at include/linux/skbuff.h:2655 ! invalid opcode: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN CPU: 0 PID: 1441 Comm: syz-executor199 Not tainted 6.1.24-syzkaller #0 Hardware name: Google Google Compute Engine/Google Compute Engine, BIOS Google 04/14/2023 RIP: 0010:__skb_pull include/linux/skbuff.h:2655 [inline] RIP: 0010:skb_mac_gso_segment+0x68f/0x6a0 net/core/gro.c:136 Code: fd 48 8b 5c 24 10 44 89 6b 70 48 c7 c7 c0 ae 0d 86 44 89 e6 e8 a1 91 d0 00 48 c7 c7 00 af 0d 86 48 89 de 31 d2 e8 d1 4a e9 ff <0f> 0b 66 2e 0f 1f 84 00 00 00 00 00 0f 1f 44 00 00 55 48 89 e5 41 RSP: 0018:ffffc90001bd7520 EFLAGS: 00010286 RAX: ffffffff8

Sep 18, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: greybus: audio_helper: remove unused and wrong debugfs usage In the greybus audioCVE-2022-50400 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: greybus: audio_helper: remove unused and wrong debugfs usage In the greybus audio_helper code, the debugfs file for the dapm has the potential to be removed and memory will be leaked. There is also the very real potential for this code to remove ALL debugfs entries from the system, and it seems like this is what will really happen if this code ever runs. This all is very wrong as the greybus audio driver did not create this debugfs file, the sound core did and controls the lifespan of it. So remove all of the debugfs logic from the audio_helper code as there's no way it could be correct. If this really is needed, it can come back with a fixup for the incorrect usage of the debugfs_lookup() call which is what caused this to be noticed at all.

Sep 16, 2025The Sparkle framework includes a helper tool Autoupdate.CVE-2025-10016 · Other software · Sparkle Project · reported by cvd@cert.plHigh 8.8
The Sparkle framework includes a helper tool Autoupdate. Due to lack of authentication of connecting clients a local unprivileged attacker can request installation of crafted malicious PKG file by racing to connect to the daemon when other app spawns it as root. This results in local privilege escalation to root privileges. It is worth noting that it is possible to spawn Autopudate manually via Installer XPC service. However this requires the victim to enter credentials upon system authorization dialog creation that can be modified by the attacker. This issue was fixed in version 2.7.2

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/tests: helpers: Avoid a driver uaf when using __drm_kunit_helper_alloc_drm_device() the driver may be dereferenced by device-managed resources up until the device is freed, which is typically later than the kunit-managed resource code frees it. Fix this by simply make the driver device-managed as well. In short, the sequence leading to the UAF is as follows: INIT: Code allocates a struct device as a kunit-managed resource. Code allocates a drm driver as a kunit-managed resource. Code allocates a drm device as a device-managed resource. EXIT: Kunit resource cleanup frees the drm driver Kunit resource cleanup puts the struct device, which starts a device-managed resource cleanup device-managed cleanup calls drm_dev_put() drm_dev_put() dereferences the (now freed) drm driver -> Boom.
