In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: iscsi: Fix hang for aborted WRITE_PENDING commands When a LUN_RESET aborts a WRITE command that is in the TRANSPORT_WRITE_PENDING state, the target core sets CMD_T_ABORTED and waits for the frontend to finish processing. If the initiator subsequently sends the remaining dataout PDUs, __iscsit_check_dataout_hdr() catches the payload, stops the dataout timer if the sequence is final and finally dumps the data. However, the iSCSI target doesn't trigger the completion process for these aborted commands. Because of this, the abort path hangs indefinitely in target_put_cmd_and_wait(), leading to a deadlocked target worker thread. Fix this by explicitly calling target_complete_cmd() when the final dataout PDU is received for an aborted WRITE command. target_complete_cmd() detects the CMD_T_ABORTED flag and cleanly routes the command into target_abort_work, allowing the abort completion to successfully unblock.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btqcomsmd: destroy RPMsg endpoints before freeing hci_dev The command and ACL RCVE-2026-97908 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btqcomsmd: destroy RPMsg endpoints before freeing hci_dev The command and ACL RPMsg endpoints store struct btqcomsmd as their callback private data. The receive callbacks dereference btq->hdev without taking an hci_dev reference. The current teardown order frees the hci_dev before destroying the RPMsg endpoints in both the hci_register_dev() error path and the driver remove path. If WCNSS delivers data in that window, the endpoint callback can run with an already freed hci_dev and pass it to the Bluetooth core. For qcom_smd endpoints, rpmsg_destroy_ept() closes the channel and clears the callback under the channel recv_lock. The receive path holds the same lock while invoking the callback, so destroying the endpoints first both prevents new callbacks and serializes with any callback already running. Destroy the command and ACL endpoints before hci_free_dev(). Keep hci_unregister_dev() first during remove so the HCI core stops issuing operations before the transport endpoints are shut down. In the full registration-error cleanup path, return directly after freeing the hci_dev to avoid falling through

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/pai: Support CPU hotplug for PMU PAI The command 'perf stat -e pai_crypto/CRYPTO_ALL/CVE-2026-97526 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/pai: Support CPU hotplug for PMU PAI The command 'perf stat -e pai_crypto/CRYPTO_ALL/ -- <command>' crashes the kernel when CPUs are hotplug added during that run. Root cause is the missing allocation of per-CPU data structures for that new CPU. The allocation is dynamic and the first event that has task context creates such a structure for each online CPU. This is not sufficient. CPUs may be offline during event creation and can be set online during the perf run time. For example commands # echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online # perf stat -e cycles -i -- stress-ng -t10s --matrix X # sleep 1 # echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online Currently without a CPU hotplug handler, that new CPU has no per-CPU data infrastructure. The scheduler runs PMU call back function pai_add() to install the PMU support for that CPU before the task is being scheduled on that new CPU. In pai_add() instructions mp = this_cpu_ptr(pai_root[idx].mapptr); cpump = mp->mapptr; return a NULL pointer and the result is a kernel panic as variable cpump is used inside that function. Add CPU hotplug support for C

The Botslab G980H dash camera firmware contains an authorization vulnerability in its session based command functionality. The product does not sufficiently associate an authenticated session with the client connection that established it, and subsequent privileged operations rely on possession of a valid session identifier without adequately validating the requesting client's authenticated context. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: caiaq: validate EP1 reply lengths usb_ep1_command_reply_dispatch() uses buf[0] as a command byte and then reads command-specific fixed items from the same URB buffer. Several paths use buf + 1, buf[1], buf[2], or buf + 3 without first proving that urb->actual_length contains those bytes. Add per-command length checks, use a payload length derived from the bytes after the command byte for the control-state copy, and reject short analog input payloads before the input helper reads fixed offsets from the EP1 reply.

Deserialization of untrusted data in the command monitoring support of the MongoDB PHP Driver can cause class names embedded in document content to be honored when the driver builds monitoring event objects. When an application registers a command monitoring subscriber and includes untrusted data in a database operation, an unauthenticated party who controls that data may cause an application class implementing the driver's persistable interface to be instantiated and its unserialization method invoked with the supplied data. The resulting impact depends on the classes available in the application.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/bnxt_re: Validate udata before executing commands The destroy callbacks currently zero the udata output after tearing down driver resources. If the userspace access fails, uverbs preserves the uobject and allows the destroy callback to run again, even though the driver resource has already been freed. Call ib_no_udata_io() before teardown so udata failures are detected while the resource is still intact, then return success after teardown completes. As part of this change, move ib_respond_empty_udata() to the start of the create and modify flows. While this is not strictly required for general create flows, as the core layer unwinds uobjects on failure, it is necessary for create AH. In _rdma_create_ah(), the HW object is otherwise leaked.

BlueZ passes the calling device's identity to the characteristic write handler in the options argument, but WriteValue(self, value, options) in src/reachy_mini/daemon/app/services/bluetooth/bluetooth_service.py ignores options entirely. The handler therefore has no idea which device sent a given write, and it cannot tell the authenticated one from any other. Once any device completes the PIN exchange, the flag is set and every nearby device can send CMD_ commands until it resets. An attacker simply waits within radio range for a legitimate user to authenticate, then writes commands into the same window. No PIN is ever guessed or brute-forced. This is the second step of a three-step chain that JFrog documented against the robot. The first is the unrestricted file upload in the media sounds API, tracked as CVE-2026-55419, which pla

  • Sep 22, 2026wlc is a Weblate command-line client using Weblate's REST API.CVE-2026-62364 · Other software · WeblateOrg · reported by GitHubLow 2.3

wlc is a Weblate command-line client using Weblate's REST API. Prior to 2.0.1, automatically discovered configuration from .weblate, .weblate.ini, or weblate.ini can select the API URL while an unscoped API token is supplied through WLC_KEY or --key without a matching WLC_URL or --url. When wlc runs in an untrusted repository, pull request checkout, or directory with untrusted ancestor configuration, it can send the token to an attacker-controlled project-configured URL. URL-scoped keys in [keys] are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.1.

  • Sep 22, 2026The Tauri updater plugin's 'check' IPC command accepts an allowDowngrades boolean parameter directly from frontend JavaScript code.CVE-2026-95624 · Other software · Tauri · reported by reefs@jfrog.comMedium 6.8

The Tauri updater plugin's 'check' IPC command accepts an allowDowngrades boolean parameter directly from frontend JavaScript code. When set to true, it replaces the version comparator from "update must be newer" to "update must be different." Because the default permission set grants allow-check to the webview, any XSS in the app frontend can invoke this command and bypass the only anti-rollback protection the updater offers. Combined with another bug, this enables downgrade attacks without even needing to fake a higher version number.
