Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app) blocks direct user inserts into the public.manifest table with a RESTRICTIVE row-level security policy, but that restriction can be bypassed iCVE-2026-100619 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Capgo (capgo.app) blocks direct user inserts into the public.manifest table with a RESTRICTIVE row-level security policy, but that restriction can be bypassed indirectly. A principal holding an app-scoped upload/write/all API key (upload+ rights) or an authenticated user with write+ rights on an app can update public.app_versions.manifest on a version whose storage_provider is 'r2-direct', which is not covered by the bundle content-lock check. The on_version_update async worker trusts record.manifest and, using the service-role Supabase client, inserts the attacker-controlled file_name, file_hash, and s3_path into public.manifest before clearing app_versions.manifest. When a channel points to the crafted version, the /updates endpoint returns the service-role-created manifest entry as a client-facing download_url, enabling OTA manifest poisoning through a trusted async worker path. All versions are affected; no patch was available at the time of publication.

Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app) is affected by an authorization flaw in the app icon update path.CVE-2026-100618 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Capgo (capgo.app) is affected by an authorization flaw in the app icon update path. The PUT /app/:id endpoint accepts a user-controlled `icon` value, normalizes it, and stores it in public.apps.icon_url without verifying that the image path belongs to the target app's own image namespace (e.g. org/{owner_org}/{app_id}/...). Updating apps.icon_url fires the on_app_update trigger, whose worker reads record.icon_url and calls cleanStoredImageMetadata(), which runs with service-role credentials (supabaseAdmin()) and downloads and re-uploads the referenced storage object with upsert: true. As a result, an authenticated holder of an app-limited write API key can cause the privileged worker to rewrite an out-of-scope private image object (for example an organization logo) that the key cannot read or write directly under Supabase Storage RLS. All versions are affected; no patched version was available at the time of the advisory.

Sep 26, 2026capgo.app is an over-the-air update platform for Capacitor apps.CVE-2026-100616 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7
capgo.app is an over-the-air update platform for Capacitor apps. In all versions prior to a fix, the row-level security UPDATE policy on the public.orgs table permits an organization admin (a user holding org.update_settings) to update the entire row, including the internal billing pointer column customer_id. The official organization update endpoint (supabase/functions/_backend/public/organization/put.ts) allowlists only a small set of editable settings fields and excludes customer_id, and the private Stripe billing route separately requires the org.update_billing permission. By sending an update directly to Supabase PostgREST, an authenticated org admin without org.update_billing can null or corrupt the organization's Stripe customer pointer, causing plan and billing checks that trust orgs.customer_id to fail and moving the organization from a valid paid plan state to unpaid/no-plan behavior. At the time of the advisory no patched version was available.

Cap-go capgo.app before 12.267.1 fails to validate target API key privilege during rotation, allowing an apikey_manager to rotate a higher-privileged org_super_admin sibling key and recover its plaintext credential. Attackers with apikey_manager role can enumerate same-owner API keys, rotate a stronger sibling through the PUT endpoint, and obtain the replacement plaintext secret to authenticate as the higher-privileged principal.

Sep 26, 2026Capgo before 12.244.1 contains a cross-tenant integrity vulnerability in the metadata-cleaning worker that trusts image object keys from mutable database rows wCVE-2026-100614 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Capgo before 12.244.1 contains a cross-tenant integrity vulnerability in the metadata-cleaning worker that trusts image object keys from mutable database rows without validating ownership. An authenticated attacker can place a victim tenant's image key in a row they control, causing the service-role worker to download and re-upload that object with sanitized metadata. Attackers can silently modify metadata in cross-tenant image objects by supplying known victim keys during authorized row updates, bypassing storage access controls through the confused-deputy metadata worker.

Sep 26, 2026capgo.app is an over-the-air (OTA) update platform for Capacitor apps.CVE-2026-100613 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6
capgo.app is an over-the-air (OTA) update platform for Capacitor apps. In all versions up to and including the current release (no patch available at time of publication), the `transfer_app()` database function transfers an app, its channels, versions and related records to a destination organization without deleting or revalidating existing rows in `channel_permission_overrides`. As a result, a user who legitimately held a channel permission override while a member of the source organization retains that override after the transfer, even though they have no membership and no RBAC binding in the destination organization. Using their own authenticated JWT against the PostgREST API, such a former member can modify the destination-owned channel to point at a different bundle, causing the /updates endpoint to serve an attacker-selected application version to devices. The previously proposed fix for GHSA-626c-p6fq-3whq (PR #3093), which validates organization membership when an override is created or updated, does not remove overrides that became stale as a result of an app transfer.

Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app) through version 12.261.0 contains an incomplete access-control fix for the public.sso_providers table.CVE-2026-100612 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6
Capgo (capgo.app) through version 12.261.0 contains an incomplete access-control fix for the public.sso_providers table. Migration 20260826100000_sso_providers_block_direct_active_insert.sql installs a BEFORE UPDATE guard (enforce_sso_provider_client_update_guard()) that freezes only the dns_verified_at, domain, status and enforce_sso columns; provider_id (as well as metadata_url and attribute_mapping) is left writable. Because the table is granted ALL to the anon and authenticated roles with no column-level restriction, and PostgreSQL row-level security policies such as allow_org_admins_update_sso_providers constrain only which row may be updated and not which columns, a user holding the org_admin tier permission org.update_settings can PATCH provider_id over PostgREST to an identity provider under their control. Since provider_id is the trust anchor binding an email domain to an authorized IdP, the attacker can then authenticate through their own IdP while asserting the org owner's email; the server-side provider match succeeds and the merge routine attaches the attacker's SSO identity to the existing owner account, nulls its password, and deletes its other identities and session

Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app backend, versions ≤ 12.261.0) improperly restricts which roles the apikey_manager organization role may bind to newly created API keys.CVE-2026-100611 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
Capgo (capgo.app backend, versions ≤ 12.261.0) improperly restricts which roles the apikey_manager organization role may bind to newly created API keys. When an authenticated user holding only apikey_manager (permissions org.manage_apikeys and org.read) calls POST /apikey with a JWT session, the only checks applied are the org.manage_apikeys permission, a fixed deny-list of assignable role names (APIKEY_MANAGER_DENIED_ASSIGNABLE_ROLES in public/apikey/scope.ts), and a priority-rank comparison in createRoleBindingForPrincipal (private/role_bindings.ts). No check verifies that the caller actually holds the permissions conferred by the role being assigned. Because the deny-list omits the deploy roles app_developer, app_uploader, channel_developer and channel_uploader, and apikey_manager is seeded with priority_rank 78 — higher than those roles' ranks (68, 66, 58, 57) — the rank check also passes. As a result, an apikey_manager who cannot upload bundles or promote channels can mint an API key bound to a deploy role and use it to push arbitrary OTA JavaScript updates to all end users of the organization's apps. As of the advisory publication no patched version was available.

Sep 25, 2026Missing Authorization in the askpass escape code handler in kitty from 0.25.0 before 0.49.0 allows a local user other than the one running the terminal to obtaiCVE-2026-95835 · Other software · Kovid Goyal · reported by 4daa8cea-433a-44bd-9456-53b127fc289aMedium 5.6
Missing Authorization in the askpass escape code handler in kitty from 0.25.0 before 0.49.0 allows a local user other than the one running the terminal to obtain the text typed into a prompt that kitty itself displays, because handle_remote_askpass() in kitty/window.py opens the POSIX shared memory object named in the escape code, parses a prompt definition out of it, and writes the user's answer back into an object of that same name, without at any point checking that the object is owned by the user running kitty or that its permissions exclude other users. The equivalent consumer of the same SharedMemory class in the ssh kitten performs exactly that check; the askpass path did not. The handler is reached through a device control string processed from the byte stream of the window, so the attacker must also cause bytes of their choosing to be displayed by the victim's terminal. Where the POSIX shared memory namespace is shared between the two users, a second local user can create an object with permissions that allow the victim to read and write it, cause the victim's kitty to render a prompt of the attacker's choosing, including a masked password prompt, and read the typed secret

Sep 25, 2026A malicious txtar could escape the intended execution context and force arbitrary writes to the playground host's trusted filesystem.CVE-2026-94445 · Other software · golang.org/x/playground · reported by security@golang.orgHigh 8.8
A malicious txtar could escape the intended execution context and force arbitrary writes to the playground host's trusted filesystem. Disjointly, one of the three possible paths to invoke go vet on the playground host did not correctly restrict the execution environment. This permitted a Go process to make a read for an environment configuration file rooted in the playground host's $HOME. Together, a well-crafted go env file and the go vet invocation could lead to remote code execution in the playground host itself. This does not affect users of go.dev/play directly; however, it may affect independent deployments of golang.org/x/playground.

Readwise Reader for Android constructs URLs in its WebView using attacker-controlled metadata without proper encoding or escaping. The application interpolates untrusted values directly into URL strings and inserts them into the DOM via innerHTML. Because the interpolation occurs without HTML or JavaScript context encoding, a crafted metadata value can break out of the intended URL structure and inject script content. Sep 25, 2026Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component in the colour control escape code handler in kitty from 0.47.3 before 0.49.CVE-2026-95832 · Other software · Kovid Goyal · reported by 4daa8cea-433a-44bd-9456-53b127fc289aCritical 9.3
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component in the colour control escape code handler in kitty from 0.47.3 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to execute an arbitrary command in the user's shell, because color_control() in kitty/window.py answers a query for an unrecognised field name by placing that field name into the reply, and write_escape_code_to_child() in kitty/screen.c then writes the reply to the pseudoterminal master, where it is not distinguishable from input typed by the user, without neutralising it for the shell that reads it. The payload is reduced to printable ASCII before the field name is echoed, which is the restriction introduced in 0.47.3 as the fix for CVE-2026-54057, and the record and field separators ; and = are consumed as delimiters, but every other printable character survives, which is sufficient to compose a shell command. A newline is available from handle_remote_ssh() in kitty/window.py, which writes the bytes yielded by get_ssh_data() in kittens/ssh/utils.py, the first of which begin with a newline, to the pseudoterminal master before any credential carried in the request is checked. Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix chan mode for LE_CONN_REQ + EXT_FLOWCTL pchan l2cap_new_connection()CVE-2026-98108 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix chan mode for LE_CONN_REQ + EXT_FLOWCTL pchan l2cap_new_connection() sets default value of channel mode to match the parent channel. l2cap_le_connect_req() left this at the default, and created L2CAP_MODE_EXT_FLOWCTL channels if listening pchan has that mode. This causes FLAG_DEFER_SETUP channels to reply to L2CAP_LE_CONN_REQ with L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_RSP, which is incorrect. It can also result to stack OOB write (of l2cap_alloc_cid determined values) in l2cap_ecred_rsp_defer(), as l2cap_le_connect_req() does not limit maximum number of deferred channels or check for duplicate ident. Fix by setting chan->mode correctly in l2cap_le_connect_req(). Also check channel mode in l2cap_ecred_rsp_defer(), and do WARN_ON_ONCE instead of OOB write to make it less brittle.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix out-of-bounds write in l2cap_ecred_connect l2cap_chan_connect() trieCVE-2026-98107 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix out-of-bounds write in l2cap_ecred_connect l2cap_chan_connect() tries to ensure there are no more than L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_SCID_MAX pending ECRED channels, so they fit in the same L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_REQ that l2cap_ecred_connect() constructs. However, the check only counts deferred channels. If 6 L2CAP sockets are connected at the same time in order DDDDND (D=deferred, N=non-deferred), the last can bump the total to max+1. It results to one __le16 written out of bounds of the scid array, and an invalid ECRED_CONN_REQ being sent. Fix by leaving room for the non-deferred pending ECRED channels in the counting in l2cap_chan_connect(), so the limit can't be exceeded. Move counting under same critical section where the channel is added. Although race conditions involving this appear unreachable, it's easier to see. Also add WARN_ON_ONCE check in l2cap_ecred_defer_connect() to make this less brittle.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cap tx_queue_len at S16_MAX to prevent oversized ring allocations Several subsystems allocate ring buffers sized by dev->tx_queue_len with no upper bound. An unprivileged user (via unshare -Urn) can set a huge tx_queue_len and exhaust global memory with ring allocations: - pfifo_fast: pfifo_fast_init() and pfifo_fast_change_tx_queue_len() allocate 3 skb_array rings of tx_queue_len entries each. - tun: tun_queue_resize() and the queue-attach path resize ptr_rings to tx_queue_len on the NETDEV_CHANGE_TX_QUEUE_LEN notifier. - tap (macvtap/ipvtap): tap_queue_resize() and tap_init() resize/init ptr_rings to tx_queue_len on the same notifier. netif_change_tx_queue_len() is the single entry point for IFLA_TXQLEN, sysfs, and the SIOCSIFTXQLEN ioctl. Cap new_len at S16_MAX (32767) there so the oversized value is rejected at set time. This takes effect whether the device is up or down, before dev->tx_queue_len is written, before any notifier fires, and before any ring is allocated. The "> S16_MAX" check also subsumes the previous unsigned-long truncation test, and a negative ifr_qlen from the ioctl lands far a

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: flowlabel: cap duplicate leases per socket ipv6_flowlabel_get() allocates an ipv6_fl_socklist entry for every successful GET. The recheck path for a compatible existing flowlabel links another lease without applying any lease admission check. Repeated GET requests for one shareable label can therefore grow a socket's lease list without bound. Reject a new unprivileged lease once the socket already holds FL_MAX_PER_SOCK leases. Check this on the shared recheck path so reuse of a globally interned label, including the fl_intern() collision path, is covered as well. New-label admission remains under the existing mem_check() policy. Use capable(CAP_NET_ADMIN) rather than ns_capable(), matching mem_check(). An unprivileged user must not bypass the cap by creating a user namespace and a netns where they have CAP_NET_ADMIN, which would still consume host memory. Check the capability only when the socket reaches the limit, so successful unprivileged GET requests below the cap do not generate a capability audit. Do the admission check before updating linger and expires so a rejected GET does not refresh the share

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: verisilicon: rockchip: reject AV1 frames exceeding the tile capacity rockchip_vpu981_av1_dec_set_tile_info() indexes the tile group entry array by tile1 * tile_cols + tile0, reading up to tile_cols * tile_rows entries, lays out one descriptor per tile in the AV1_MAX_TILES tile_info buffer, and programs the real tile_cols / tile_rows into the hardware. The tile group entry control is a dynamic array sized to the number of entries userspace submitted, independent of tile_cols / tile_rows, so a frame that claims more tiles than entries reads past the array. A frame that claims more than AV1_MAX_TILES tiles also leaves the hardware programmed for more tiles than the descriptor buffer holds. Reject both in prepare_run(): tile_cols * tile_rows must not exceed the submitted entry count or AV1_MAX_TILES. The entry count is read via v4l2_ctrl_find() (ctrl->elems). This mirrors the bound the mediatek AV1 decoder already enforces.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: validate connectionless PSM length Connectionless L2CAP frames carry a tCVE-2026-97408 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: validate connectionless PSM length Connectionless L2CAP frames carry a two-byte PSM at the start of the payload. l2cap_recv_frame() currently reads that PSM unconditionally after validating only the outer L2CAP length. A malformed connectionless frame with a zero- or one-byte payload can therefore make the parser read beyond the advertised skb payload and use tailroom bytes as part of the PSM. A VHCI-backed QEMU reproducer injected a one-byte connectionless payload and reached the unchecked read. Reject connectionless frames that cannot contain the PSM before reading or pulling it. This preserves all valid connectionless frames while dropping only structurally incomplete packets.

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.4.1 until 2.5.1, an authenticated Termix administrator can store attacker-controlled domain and email values through PATCH /users/acme-ssl-settings and trigger their interpolation into a certbot shell command through POST /users/acme-ssl-request. In src/backend/database/routes/acme-ssl-routes.ts, child_process.execSync invokes /bin/sh -c with those values only wrapped in double quotes, so shell metacharacters can execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the Termix backend process. Both HTTP webroot and DNS Cloudflare challenge modes are affected, and compromise exposes Termix databases, process secrets, stored credentials, and network reachability. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.4.0 until 2.5.1, the POST /users/totp/disable and POST /users/totp/backup-codes endpoints accept the account password as the sole reauthentication factor after a 2.4.0 refactor regressed the two-factor check introduced for CVE-2026-45749. In src/backend/database/routes/user-totp-routes.ts, verifyTotpReauth returns success when bcrypt.compare validates the password, while each endpoint chooses password or totp_code as an interchangeable credential. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: cap out-of-range rx MCS instead of leaving bogus rate ath11k can receive HT/VHT/HE frames whose reported MCS is above the maximum that can be expressed in the corresponding mac80211 rate space (e.g. an HE frame reported with MCS 12, while HE tops out at MCS 11). The frame itself is valid and decodes correctly, but for such a frame ath11k_dp_rx_h_rate() leaves rx_status->rate_idx set to the out-of-range value and never assigns rx_status->encoding, so it stays RX_ENC_LEGACY from the ath11k_dp_rx_h_ppdu() initialization. Once that frame reaches mac80211 it trips the rate sanity check and the frame is dropped with a splat: ath11k_pci 0000:03:00.0: Received with invalid mcs in HE mode 12 WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 0 at net/mac80211/rx.c:5433 ieee80211_rx_list+0xb0a/0xe90 [mac80211] Dropping the frame would discard otherwise valid data, so instead cap the reported MCS to the maximum the rate space can express and deliver the frame. Set rx_status->encoding before the range check and assign rate_idx from the capped value, so a frame with an out-of-range MCS no longer leaves partial or bogus rate metadata b

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI/proc: Use file_ns_capable() when checking config space read access proc_bus_pci_read() decides how much of the config space is readable based on capable(CAP_SYS_ADMIN), which checks the credentials of the task calling read(), not the credentials of the process that opened the file. The sysfs equivalent, pci_read_config(), has checked the credentials of the opening process since commit de139a339395 ("pci: check caps from sysfs file open to read device dependent config space"), so a privileged process can open the config space file and pass the file descriptor to an unprivileged process (for example, a process running a KVM guest with an assigned device), which can then read the entire config space. The check was subsequently routed through the LSM framework in commit 47970b1b2aa6 ("pci: use security_capable() when checking capablities during config space read") and converted to the dedicated helper in commit ab0fa82b2df9 ("pci-sysfs: use proper file capability helper function"). Thus, the two interfaces check the same capability against different credentials. Checking the credentials of the task calling re

Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79761 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubMedium 6.6
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 1.7.0 until 2.5.1, the Termix SSH key deployment flow derives a grep pattern from a user-controlled public-key token and interpolates it into double-quoted shell commands executed on the selected target host. In src/backend/database/routes/credential-deploy-routes.ts, both grep -F verification paths accept command substitution or quote-breaking shell syntax in keyPattern. An authenticated user who can deploy a crafted SSH credential can therefore execute commands with the selected remote account's privileges. Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79760 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.5.0 until 2.5.1, Termix allows authenticated users to configure webhook or ntfy notification channels with attacker-controlled destination URLs and trigger server-side requests through the notification-channel test endpoint. The request path in src/backend/database/routes/alert-rules-routes.ts reaches src/backend/utils/notification-sender.ts without destination allowlisting or private-address blocking. This permits blind requests to internal HTTP services reachable by the Termix server. Webhook mode also permits attacker-controlled HTTP methods and headers, which can cause limited state changes when an internal service accepts the fixed notification body, although response bodies are not returned. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.
