  • Aug 6, 2026Dinky's POST /download/uploadFromRsByLocal handler passes the caller-supplied path parameter directly to new File(path) and file.transferTo(dest) with no path vCVE-2026-70558 · Other software · DataLinkDC · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

Dinky's POST /download/uploadFromRsByLocal handler passes the caller-supplied path parameter directly to new File(path) and file.transferTo(dest) with no path validation. The route is marked @SaIgnore and /download/** is excluded from the Sa-Token interceptor, so the only guard is a header equality check against a dinkyToken value whose default (efda1551-7958-4e0f-80a8-dfd107df3e38) is hardcoded in source and shipped to every deployment. Anyone who can reach Dinky's HTTP port (8888 by default) and supplies the hardcoded token can write arbitrary files as the Dinky service account. The default Docker image runs on 8888 with no proxy or authentication and chmod 777 on /opt/dinky, so the application's own classpath, launch scripts, and static assets are writable. Demonstrated impact: overwriting /opt/dinky/config/static/index.html served attacker JavaScript to admin browsers immediately, and writing /opt/dinky/org/dinky/Dinky.class executed attacker code as the Dinky service account at the next JVM start via a classpath-shadow launched by script/bin/auto.sh. Writes are uid 9999 (flink), not root, so /etc, /root, /home, and /usr are refused. Affects Dinky v1.2.5 (the current release) a

Fledge's backup-restore upload handler, upload_backup (python/fledge/services/core/api/backup_restore.py), takes the first extracted tar member's filename (tar_file_names[0]) and builds a shell command via string formatting. • Aug 5, 2026In Eclipse Theia versions up to and including 1.73.1, the `@theia/filesystem` backend binds `POST /file-upload` in every filesystem-enabled deployment.CVE-2026-60009 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.8

In Eclipse Theia versions up to and including 1.73.1, the `@theia/filesystem` backend binds `POST /file-upload` in every filesystem-enabled deployment. The handler takes an attacker-supplied absolute path from the multipart `uri` field and calls `fs.move(tmp, target, { overwrite: true })` with no workspace confinement and no authentication. In browser (non-Electron) deployments the connection token is enforced only on WebSocket upgrades; the HTTP middleware in `@theia/core` re-issues the cookie and calls `next()` without rejecting tokenless HTTP requests. Because `multipart/form-data` is a CORS-safelisted request type, a cross-origin web page can trigger the write with no preflight and no credentials, resulting in an unauthenticated arbitrary file write outside the workspace to any absolute path the backend process can write. This can escalate to remote code execution, for example by overwriting a startup-executed file such as `~/.bashrc`. Electron mode uses a separate `ElectronSecurityToken` and is not affected via this path.

  • Aug 5, 2026Multi Uploader for Gravity Forms: Unauthorized arbitrary media deletionCVE-2026-5581 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Multi Uploader for Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized arbitrary media deletion in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.8. This is due to missing capability checks in the `plupload_ajax_delete_file()` function, which is registered via `wp_ajax_nopriv_gfmu_delete_file`. The nonce intended for CSRF protection is exposed on any public-facing page containing a multi-uploader form field via the `GFMU_options` JavaScript object. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete any WordPress media attachment by supplying its attachment ID, potentially leading to complete media library destruction.

This is due to missing file extension and content validation in the saveLiveImages() function combined with an insufficient authorization check on the get_keys() AJAX handler and a missing authentication check on the REST API import endpoint. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.

  • Jul 31, 2026Realtyna Organic IDX plugin + WPL Real Estate: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-14483 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Realtyna Organic IDX plugin + WPL Real Estate plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.0 via the upload function. This is due to missing file type validation in the upload function, combined with a publicly accessible I/O endpoint authenticated solely by static, plugin-seeded API credentials that are identical across all installations. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The WPL I/O service endpoint is registered on the public WordPress init hook with no WordPress capability check, and the required api_key and api_secret values are static defaults seeded by the plugin's own SQL migration files, meaning any unauthenticated attacker who knows these publicly documented defaults can reach and exploit the vulnerable upload path.

Apache Kyuubi REST batch multipart upload handling uses the client-supplied multipart filename when creating a temporary uploaded resource. A remote attacker who can access the REST batch upload endpoint can provide path traversal sequences in the filename and cause the Kyuubi server process to write controlled content outside the intended upload directory, subject to filesystem permissions. This issue affects Apache Kyuubi: from 1.7.0 through 1.11.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.12.0, which fixes the issue.

  • Jul 30, 2026PIA's `POST /v1/upload/sbom` endpoint accepts a Bearer JWT and checks its **unverified** `iss` claim against an issuer allowlist using Python's `urlparse` beforCVE-2026-18353 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.8

PIA's `POST /v1/upload/sbom` endpoint accepts a Bearer JWT and checks its **unverified** `iss` claim against an issuer allowlist using Python's `urlparse` before performing OIDC discovery with `requests`. Because `urlparse` and `requests`/`urllib3` parse an authority string containing a backslash (e.g. `https://attacker-host\@ci.eclipse.org/`) into *different* hostnames, an attacker can craft an issuer that passes the allowlist check yet drives `requests` — and subsequently `urllib.request.urlopen` for JWKS retrieval — to connect to an arbitrary attacker-chosen host, port, and scheme.

MWDB Core versions >=2.0.0 and <2.19.0 contain a missing authorization vulnerability in the deprecated config and blob upload endpoints. These endpoints accept the undocumented POST method, which bypasses the capability checks applied to the documented PUT method. The Extra Checkout Options (addon for Extra Product Options & Add-Ons for WooCommerce) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.2. This is due to missing authorization and nonce validation in the eco_save_settings() function, which allows low-privileged authenticated users to modify the tc_eco_custom_file_types upload allowlist setting, combined with insufficient authorization on the wc_eco_upload_file AJAX action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to allow PHP uploads, upload a PHP file using the frontend upload nonce exposed on cart and checkout pages, and achieve remote code execution.
