    osquery is a SQL powered operating system instrumentation, monitoring, and analytics framework. Prior to 5.23.1, on Windows, a local unprivileged attacker can cause a heap buffer out-of-bounds write if there is a query of the authenticode table targeting a maliciously crafted binary, due to publisher information parsing in getOriginalProgramName. If exploited successfully, this could allow a potential local privilege escalation from standard user to SYSTEM. This issue is fixed in version 5.23.1.

    osquery is a SQL powered operating system instrumentation, monitoring, and analytics framework. Prior to 5.23.1, an unprivileged attacker can read the contents of an osquery file carve until the carve completes and the temporary files are deleted because in-progress carve directories are not created with private permissions. • Jul 10, 2026SQL Injection vulnerability in elixir-ecto postgrex allows an attacker who can influence a LISTEN channel name to inject SQL into the reconnect replay query, caCVE-2026-58225 · Other software · elixir-ecto · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

    SQL Injection vulnerability in elixir-ecto postgrex allows an attacker who can influence a LISTEN channel name to inject SQL into the reconnect replay query, causing a denial of service of the notification connection. Postgrex.Notifications sanitizes channel names with quote_channel/1, which doubles double quotes so the name is safe inside a double-quoted identifier. This protects the single-statement LISTEN and UNLISTEN paths. On every (re)connect, however, handle_connect/1 replays all registered channels at once by concatenating their LISTEN statements and wrapping them in a dollar-quoted anonymous code block (DO $$BEGIN ... END$$). quote_channel/1 does not escape the $$ dollar-quote delimiter that opens and closes this block. The listen/3 guards only reject null bytes and names longer than 63 bytes, so a channel name containing $$ passes validation unchanged. Once such a name is embedded, its $$ prematurely terminates the outer dollar-quoted string and PostgreSQL parses the remainder as additional top-level statements. Because handle_connect/1 runs on every (re)connect, the malformed replay query is rejected each time and the notification connection never re-establishes its su

  • Jul 8, 2026n8n before 1.123.61, 2.x before 2.27.4, and 2.28.x before 2.28.1 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the legacy MySQL v1 node's executeQuery operation.CVE-2026-59257 · Other software · n8n · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3

    n8n before 1.123.61, 2.x before 2.27.4, and 2.28.x before 2.28.1 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the legacy MySQL v1 node's executeQuery operation. The operation substitutes evaluated {{ ... }} expression values directly into the raw SQL string without parameterization. When a workflow uses this operation with expression-sourced values and is connected to an externally-reachable trigger (such as a Webhook node), attacker-controlled input reaching those expressions results in SQL injection, allowing execution of arbitrary SQL with the configured MySQL credentials' privileges. The MySQL v2 node, which uses parameterized queries, is not affected.

  • Jul 6, 2026Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in Apache Camel Neo4J component.CVE-2026-46591 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.2

    Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in Apache Camel Neo4J component. The camel-neo4j producer builds the Cypher WHERE clause for its match/retrieve and delete operations from the CamelNeo4jMatchProperties map. CVE-2025-66169 addressed Cypher injection through the property values by binding them as query parameters ($paramN), but the property names (the JSON keys of that map) were still concatenated into the query string verbatim in Neo4jProducer.retrieveNodes() and deleteNode(). A property name containing Cypher syntax therefore alters the structure of the executed query. Where a route maps untrusted input into the CamelNeo4jMatchProperties map - for example by passing a request body as the match map, or from a consumer that does not filter inbound Camel* headers - an attacker who controls the JSON key names can inject arbitrary Cypher and read, modify or delete any node or relationship in the Neo4j database. The CamelNeo4jMatchProperties header is itself Camel-prefixed and is filtered by the HTTP header-filter strategy, so a plain HTTP client cannot set it directly; the issue is reachable through routes that deliberately or inadvertently

  • Jul 5, 2026Zephyr's DNS resolver detects mDNS (.local) queries in dns_resolve_name_internal() (subsys/net/lib/dns/resolve.c) with memcmp(strrchr(query, '.'), ".local", 7),CVE-2026-10657 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.7

    Zephyr's DNS resolver detects mDNS (.local) queries in dns_resolve_name_internal() (subsys/net/lib/dns/resolve.c) with memcmp(strrchr(query, '.'), ".local", 7), which always reads a fixed 7 bytes from the suffix pointer. When the resolved hostname's final label is shorter than 7 bytes (e.g. names ending in .org, .com, .net, .io, or a trailing dot), the comparison reads 1-2 bytes past the string's NUL terminator. The hostname (query) is the caller-supplied name passed through the standard getaddrinfo()/dns_get_addr_info()/dns_resolve_name() path and is influenceable by operators or remote inputs (server names from configuration, parsed URLs, or app-facing interfaces). On a tightly-sized buffer with no slack (for example a userspace getaddrinfo call where the hostname is copied with k_usermode_string_alloc_copy to exactly strlen+1 bytes), the over-read crosses the allocation boundary; if that boundary is unmapped (guard page, memory-domain boundary under MPU, or an address sanitizer) the over-read faults, causing a denial of service. The over-read bytes are never returned, so there is no information disclosure. The flaw is compiled only when CONFIG_MDNS_RESOLVER is enabled, exists

  • Jul 2, 2026Netdata before 2.3.1 reflects the user-supplied love query parameter of the api/v2/ilove.svg and api/v3/ilove.svg endpoints verbatim into the generated SVG docuCVE-2025-71385 · Other software · netdata · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1

    Netdata before 2.3.1 reflects the user-supplied love query parameter of the api/v2/ilove.svg and api/v3/ilove.svg endpoints verbatim into the generated SVG document (into a text element) without HTML or XML escaping, and serves the response with Content-Type image/svg+xml. An attacker can craft a URL such as /api/v2/ilove.svg?love=<script>...</script>; when a victim navigates to it the injected script executes in the victim browser in the origin of the Netdata instance (reflected cross-site scripting). These endpoints are registered with HTTP_ACL_NOCHECK and anonymous access and, because bearer-token protection is disabled by default, are reachable without authentication on a default Netdata agent. The issue was resolved by removing the ilove endpoint.

    Landray OA contains an unauthenticated HQL injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to query arbitrary Hibernate entity classes by injecting malicious HQL syntax into the uid POST parameter of the wechatLoginHelper.do endpoint. Attackers can exploit the lack of input sanitization in the string-concatenated filter expression passed to the Hibernate findList() call to extract sensitive data such as administrator password hashes and, with sufficient database privileges, perform file-write operations enabling remote code execution. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-03-11 (UTC).

    Deserialization of untrusted data in the RemoteQueryCachePlugin in Amazon Web Services AWS Advanced JDBC Wrapper 3.3.0 through 4.0.0 might allow an actor with write access to the shared cache infrastructure to execute arbitrary code on application servers that read cached query results via a crafted serialized Java object. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: mcast: Fix use-after-free when processing MLD queries When processing an MLD query, a pointer to the multicast group address is retrieved when initially parsing the packet. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix use-after-free in offloaded map/prog info fill When querying info for an offloaded BPF map or program, bpf_map_offload_info_fill_ns() and bpf_prog_offload_info_fill_ns() obtain the network namespace with get_net(dev_net(offmap->netdev)). However, the associated netdev's netns may be racing with teardown during netns destruction. If the netns refcount has already reached 0, get_net() performs a refcount_t increment on 0, triggering: refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free. Although rtnl_lock and bpf_devs_lock ensure the netdev pointer remains valid, they cannot prevent the netns refcount from reaching zero. Fix this by using maybe_get_net() instead of get_net(). maybe_get_net() uses refcount_inc_not_zero() and returns NULL if the refcount is already zero, which causes ns_get_path_cb() to fail and the caller to return -ENOENT -- the correct behavior when the netns is being destroyed.

    Apache Doris MCP Server contains a SQL injection vulnerability in a metadata query path. A user-controlled database name is directly interpolated into a SQL query, and the query is executed without passing the caller's authorization context. This may allow an authenticated attacker, or an anonymous attacker if authentication is disabled, to bypass SQL security validation and access metadata outside the intended database scope. Affected users are recommended to upgrade to Doris version 0.6.1 or later, which fixes the issue.

  • Jun 9, 2026jQuery Hover Footnotes: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-10738 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

    The jQuery Hover Footnotes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Footnote Qualifier ('{{...}}' Syntax) in all versions up to, and including, 1.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The attribute-breakout payload (e.g., a double-quote followed by an event handler) contains no angle brackets and therefore bypasses WordPress core's wp_kses_post() filtering, which only strips disallowed HTML tags rather than sanitizing attribute contexts.

  • Jun 9, 2026jQuery Hover Footnotes: Cross-Site Request ForgeryCVE-2026-10553 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

    The jQuery Hover Footnotes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.4. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the jqFootnotes_options_subpanel function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the plugin's settings with arbitrary values that, because option values such as jqfoot_anchor_open, jqfoot_anchor_close, and jqfoot_title are echoed unescaped into frontend page content, can be chained into persistent Cross-Site Scripting affecting all site visitors via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Successful exploitation of the CSRF vulnerability can be chained into stored Cross-Site Scripting, as the overwritten option values are persisted via update_option() without sanitization and rendered unescaped on the frontend.
