  • Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel contain an authorization flaw in the administrative user-edit API.CVE-2026-81818 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.6

Affected versions of Flowintel contain an authorization flaw in the administrative user-edit API. The existing authorization check correctly prevented an organization administrator from editing users in another organization, but it did not prevent them from editing a full administrator within their own organization. As a result, an org admin could modify that full administrator account, including changing its password. The upstream commit explicitly describes the issue as: “Org admin can change the password of a full admin in the same organization.” The fix adds a higher-privilege boundary check: if user_to_edit.is_admin(): return ... 403 so organization administrators can no longer modify full administrator accounts. • Aug 27, 2026The OpenFaaS gateway registers GET /system/telemetry in gateway/main.go and, when basic_auth is enabled, wraps each administrative /system/* handler in auth.DecCVE-2026-81664 · Other software · openfaas · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

The OpenFaaS gateway registers GET /system/telemetry in gateway/main.go and, when basic_auth is enabled, wraps each administrative /system/* handler in auth.DecorateWithBasicAuth. TelemetryHandler was left out of that wrap block from 0.27.11, which introduced the route, until 0.27.14, which added it. On an affected gateway the route therefore reaches the forwarding proxy with no credential check and returns whatever the configured provider serves for /system/telemetry, so any client that can reach the gateway port can read the provider's telemetry regardless of the basic_auth setting. The exposed content depends on the provider, and covers resource and invocation metrics for faasd and pod or cluster state for faas-netes.

  • Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: finish crypto callback cleanup before peer release Crypto completion callbacks hold CVE-2026-80519 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: finish crypto callback cleanup before peer release Crypto completion callbacks hold both key-slot and peer references. The peer reference pins the netdev, and dropping the last peer reference can let netdev unregistration and module removal make progress. Do not release that peer reference before the callback has finished its own cleanup. If ovpn_crypto_key_slot_put runs after ovpn_peer_put, it can schedule an RCU callback backed by module text after ovpn_cleanup rcu_barrier has already run. The TX error path also freed the remaining skb after ovpn_peer_put, leaving callback cleanup outside the peer/netdev lifetime window. Release the key slot and free any remaining skb first, then drop the peer reference as the last callback action.

  • Aug 26, 2026Starlette-Admin is a fast, beautiful and extensible administrative interface framework for FastAPI and Starlette applications.CVE-2026-54553 · Other software · jowilf · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Starlette-Admin is a fast, beautiful and extensible administrative interface framework for FastAPI and Starlette applications. Prior to 0.16.1, the list API does not validate user-supplied order_by and structured where field names against the configured sortable_fields and searchable_fields allowlists. An authenticated user with access to an affected list endpoint can submit arbitrary field names to starlette_admin/base.py and the BaseModelView validation path, bypassing restrictions presented by the administrative user interface. Requests can sort or filter on fields that are not intended to be sortable or searchable, causing limited information exposure. Invalid field names and special Python attribute names such as metadata and the class dunder attribute can also trigger unhandled exceptions and HTTP 500 responses, causing limited denial of service for targeted requests. • Aug 25, 2026Ekushey Project Manager CRM stores the administrator-configured system name and writes it to the login page without output encoding.CVE-2026-26211 · Other software · Creativeitem · reported by VulnCheckMedium 4.8

Ekushey Project Manager CRM stores the administrator-configured system name and writes it to the login page without output encoding. The value is emitted in three places on that page: the content attribute of the description meta element, the title element, and the text of an h4 element in the page header. The h4 occurrence is parsed as markup, so HTML placed in the system name field is rendered as markup and any event handler it carries runs. The login page is served without authentication, so the stored value executes in the browser of every visitor who loads it, including visitors who are not signed in, within the origin that serves the login form and alongside the credential fields on it. Storing the value requires an administrator session; the resulting script runs for unauthenticated visitors and persists until the setting is changed.

QWED is open-source AI verification infrastructure for deterministic verification of LLM outputs, tool calls, code, schemas, and agent state before production execution. Prior to 5.1.2, the qwed package passes caller-controlled math expressions directly to SymPy parse_expr() without restricted global_dict and local_dict namespaces, allowing Python eval() to resolve builtins and execute arbitrary Python code in the API server process. In src/qwed_new/api/main.py, POST /verify/math is protected by get_current_tenant but accepts any valid tenant API key, reads the expression field, applies only a cosmetic re.sub(r'(\d)(()', r'\1*\2', expression) normalization, and passes the result to parse_expr(). In src/qwed_new/core/batch.py, POST /verify/batch sends math items through batch_service.create_job(), stores item.query verbatim, and _verify_item() passes VerificationType.MATH input to parse_expr() without sanitization. The default-enabled POST /auth/signup endpoint allows anyone to create a standard tenant account, POST /auth/api-keys issues an x-api-key, and either vulnerable path can then be used to read or write files, modify data, execute operating system commands, terminate the ser

  • Aug 25, 2026QWED-MCP is a deterministic verification gateway for MCP.CVE-2026-55546 · Other software · QWED-AI · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

QWED-MCP is a deterministic verification gateway for MCP. Prior to 0.2.1, verify_math_expression() in src/qwed_mcp/engines/math_engine.py passes attacker-controlled expression and claimed_result strings directly to SymPy's parse_expr() after only normalizing caret syntax to Python exponent syntax, without restricting global_dict, removing Python built-ins, or validating the expression AST. Because parse_expr() calls Python's eval() with built-ins available, an attacker who can cause a downstream caller to pass untrusted input to this public library function can use Python import functionality to execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the qwed-mcp process user, read or modify accessible data, exfiltrate process secrets, or reach internal services. The default MCP tool registry does not expose verify_math_expression(), so exploitation requires a downstream integration that invokes the library API with attacker-controlled input. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.1.

  • Aug 24, 2026RansomLook exposed complete API keys in the HTML source of the authenticated /admin/apikeys administration page.CVE-2026-78555 · Other software · ransomlook · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Critical 9.4

RansomLook exposed complete API keys in the HTML source of the authenticated /admin/apikeys administration page. Although the interface displayed only a shortened representation of each key, the full token was embedded in hidden form fields used by the enable/disable, private-access, and delete actions. As a result, API credentials could be recovered by inspecting the page source or DOM. The credentials could also be unintentionally exposed through components that retain or inspect HTTP response bodies, such as debugging proxies, browser caches, monitoring systems, or other intermediaries. An attacker obtaining one of these tokens could subsequently authenticate using the privileges assigned to that key, including access to private data where the key was granted such permissions. The patch removes API keys from subsequent page rendering and replaces them with SHA-256-derived opaque handles. Administrative actions submit only these handles, which are resolved back to the corresponding token on the server. The full API key is therefore disclosed only once, when it is initially created.

  • Aug 21, 2026Reconmap's API applies a fallback authorization policy in apps/api/app/Program.cs that requires an authenticated user holding the administrator role, so controlCVE-2026-77767 · Other software · reconmap · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Reconmap's API applies a fallback authorization policy in apps/api/app/Program.cs that requires an authenticated user holding the administrator role, so controllers without their own attribute reject anonymous callers. The report preview action in apps/api/app/Controllers/ReportsController.cs carries [AllowAnonymous] and therefore opts out of that policy. PreviewReport loads the Project row named by the id path segment, loads the linked Organisation through the project's ClientId, and renders both into default-report-template.html, which prints the project name and description together with the client organisation's name, address and URL. No authentication, project membership or role check is performed. Because the id is the auto-increment primary key of the project table, an unauthenticated remote caller can walk sequential ids to retrieve the engagement details and client organisation of every project on the instance, and the 404 returned for a missing id reveals which project ids exist. Reconmap stores penetration-testing engagements, so the disclosed descriptions and client records are sensitive by nature.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
