  • Sep 24, 2026A path traversal vulnerability was found in pulpcore.CVE-2026-90959 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.1

    A path traversal vulnerability was found in pulpcore. The content upload API accepts a 'file_url' parameter that allows users with file repository privileges to specify a local file URL for Pulp to download and store. A URL scheme validation check uses a string prefix comparison that only rejects URLs beginning with 'file://', but Python's URL parser recognizes the 'file:' scheme without double slashes, creating a mismatch between what is validated and what is dispatched to the file downloader. An authenticated user with low-privilege repository permissions can supply a specially crafted URL using relative path traversal sequences to read any file accessible to the Pulp server process. In deployments that include Pulp Container, successful exploitation allows an attacker to read the container registry token signing private key and forge bearer tokens, granting unauthorized access to all private container repositories in the affected registry.

    REDAXO is a PHP-based content management system. Prior to 5.21.2, redaxo/src/addons/mediapool/pages/sync.php inserts filenames held in $diffFiles from the media filesystem into the Mediapool Sync page without rex_escape(). An attacker who can place an unregistered file with HTML metacharacters in the media directory can execute script in the browser of a backend user with media[sync] permission when that user opens the Sync page, enabling session theft or unauthorized backend actions. REDAXO is a PHP-based content management system. Prior to 5.21.2, the mediaIsInUse() handler in redaxo/src/addons/media_manager/lib/media_manager.php inserts a Media Manager type name into raw backend warning HTML without escaping it when invoked through MEDIA_IS_IN_USE. An administrator with Media Manager access can store HTML in a type name, and the payload executes in another administrator's browser when that administrator tries to delete media referenced by the type's effects, enabling session theft or unauthorized backend actions. • Sep 22, 2026UTF8DataInputJsonParser._reportInvalidToken() in FasterXML jackson-core builds the offending-token text for its error message by appending Java identifier charaCVE-2026-89425 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5

    UTF8DataInputJsonParser._reportInvalidToken() in FasterXML jackson-core builds the offending-token text for its error message by appending Java identifier characters to a StringBuilder in a loop that has no upper bound. Unlike the three sibling parser implementations, including UTF8StreamJsonParser, it never consults ErrorReportConfiguration.getMaxErrorTokenLength() (default 256). A malformed token supplied to a parser created through JsonFactory.createParser(DataInput) is therefore accumulated in full. No StreamReadConstraints setting mitigates this: maxDocumentLength cannot be applied to DataInput sources at all, and maxStringLength does not cover this path because the accumulation bypasses ReadConstrainedTextBuffer. The reporter measured a 20,000,109-character exception message from a 20-million-character malformed token on the DataInput path, against 367 characters for identical input on the InputStream path. Scaling the payload drives the StringBuilder, which also incurs byte-to-char expansion and internal array doubling, to many times the raw payload size and can trigger OutOfMemoryError for the whole JVM. UTF8DataInputJsonParser was introduced in 2.8.0 together with createPa

  • Sep 22, 2026A caching flaw in the toolbox-core package of the mcp-toolbox-sdk-python SDK causes the same Google ID token to be cached and reused across different audiences.CVE-2026-19202 · Computers, phones & browsers · Google · reported by cve-coordination@google.comCritical 9.1

    A caching flaw in the toolbox-core package of the mcp-toolbox-sdk-python SDK causes the same Google ID token to be cached and reused across different audiences. If an application uses the SDK to authenticate to two or more different audiences within the same process, the module-level token cache fails to key its cached tokens by the requested audience. Consequently, a valid, unexpired token minted for a sensitive service (Service A) can be retrieved from the cache and sent to a secondary service (Service B). An attacker who operates, compromises, or monitors traffic to Service B can capture this token and replay it to impersonate the victim application against Service A.

    NumberInput.looksLikeValidNumber() in FasterXML jackson-core pre-validates "stringified numbers" with two regular expressions: PATTERN_FLOAT ([+-]?[0-9]*[\.]?[0-9]+([eE][+-]?[0-9]+)?), present since 2.17.0, and PATTERN_FLOAT_TRAILING_DOT, added in 2.17.2. PATTERN_FLOAT places adjacent quantifiers over the same character class -- an optional [0-9]* run, an optional dot, then a required [0-9]+ run -- so input that ultimately fails to match forces Java's backtracking engine to retry every possible split point of the digit run.  Matching cost therefore grows with the square of the input length.  An attacker who can supply JSON that an application deserializes into a numeric target type reaches this method through jackson-databind's default String-to-number coercion (StdDeserializer and NumberDeserializers for BigDecimal, BigInteger, Double and Float).  Because StreamReadConstraints.maxStringLength defaults to 20,000,000 characters, no constraint bounds the input before it reaches the regex.  Testing by the reporter confirmed O(n^2) growth across five consecutive input-size doublings, with a single 160,000-character string consuming roughly 74 seconds in one call; a small nu

    Apache Airflow: the Core API logout endpoint revokes only a session token presented as the _token cookie. When a client logs out presenting its credential as an Authorization bearer header instead, the endpoint returns its normal logout response but revokes nothing, so the token remains valid until it expires. An attacker who already holds a copy of that token keeps the victim's access after the victim has logged out and believes the session ended; the default token lifetime is 24 hours and is configurable. Affects API clients that authenticate with a bearer token rather than the browser session cookie. The attacker must already possess a copy of a valid token; obtaining one is outside the scope of this issue, and no privileges beyond the victim's own are gained. Users of apache-airflow are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow version 3.3.2 or later, which fixes the issue.

    When a request to the Airflow core API carries both a session cookie and an explicit `Authorization: Bearer` token, Airflow resolves the caller from the cookie and ignores the bearer token, inverting the intended precedence of bearer over cookie. The request then executes -- and is recorded in the audit log -- as the cookie's principal rather than the identity the client explicitly presented. Only Apache Airflow 3.3.0 and 3.3.1 are affected. Earlier releases do not contain the code path that caches the cookie-derived user, and are not vulnerable. Exploiting this requires an attacker to first place a valid session cookie of their own into the victim's browser or client: for example by cookie tossing from a sibling subdomain, through cross-site scripting in a separate application sharing a parent domain, or via a shared workstation. Deployments that host the Airflow UI on a domain shared with other applications are therefore the most exposed; a deployment on a dedicated domain with no co-hosted applications is not reachable this way. The consequence is principal confusion and misattributed audit records rather than a direct privilege escalation. Users of 3.3.0 or 3.3.1 should upgr

In the CA's profile-management REST API this allows a request to POST /v2/profiles/raw -- intended to require Administrator-level profiles.create permission -- to instead be authorized under the lower-privileged profiles.approve permission held by the default Certificate Manager Agents group. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and integrity of the certificate authority's issuance policy.

  • Sep 21, 2026A flaw was found in the signature verification logic of noobaa-core, the core component of the NooBaa Multicloud Object Gateway.CVE-2026-94368 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.1

    A flaw was found in the signature verification logic of noobaa-core, the core component of the NooBaa Multicloud Object Gateway. The issue occurs when the service processes S3 presigned URLs using Signature Version 4 (SigV4). Due to improper validation, the service fails to reject requests containing unsigned x-amz- headers, instead simply dropping them from the signature calculation. This allows an attacker who possesses a valid presigned PUT URL to add an unsigned x-amz-copy-source header, effectively converting a simple upload into a CopyObject operation. This can lead to unauthorized access and copying of any data the original signer is permitted to reach across the entire storage system.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: core: quiesce input in hid_hw_stop() to prevent use-after-free A driver's probe calls hid_device_io_start() to enable input delivery, then fails at a later initialization step and unwinds via hid_hw_stop(). The unwind frees struct hidraw via hidraw_disconnect() while in-flight HID reports may still be running on another CPU, dereferencing the freed object through hidraw_report_event(). syzbot reports the resulting use-after-free for the corsair-psu HID driver. Edward Adam Davis posted a per-driver fix for corsair-psu that adds an explicit hid_device_io_stop() before hid_hw_stop() in the probe error path ("hwmon: prevent packets from going to driver for probe", 2026-04-28). Auditing the tree shows 15 drivers call hid_device_io_start(); 7 also call hid_device_io_stop() and 8 do not: drivers calling hid_device_io_start() without a matching hid_device_io_stop() before hid_hw_stop(): drivers/hwmon/corsair-psu.c (fix posted by Edward) drivers/hwmon/corsair-cpro.c drivers/hwmon/nzxt-kraken3.c drivers/hwmon/nzxt-smart2.c drivers/hwmon/gigabyte_waterforce.c drivers/hid/hid-logitech

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/intel/uncore: Fix uncore_box ref/unref ordering In uncore_event_cpu_online(), uncCVE-2026-93181 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/intel/uncore: Fix uncore_box ref/unref ordering In uncore_event_cpu_online(), uncore_box_ref() was called before uncore_change_context(). uncore_box_ref() gates on box->cpu >= 0, but box->cpu is still -1 at that point because uncore_change_context() has not run yet. As a result, the box is never initialized on the first CPU to come online in a die, leaving it permanently uninitialized in the single-CPU-per-die case. Thus, box->refcnt is one count below the true value, and in the CPU offline path, the box will be torn down on the second-to-last CPU. In uncore_event_cpu_offline(), uncore_box_unref() was called after uncore_change_context(), so box->cpu is already -1 when the collector CPU goes offline, which prevents it from tearing down the box. Fix by swapping the call order in both paths so that uncore_box_{ref,unref}() runs at the point where box->cpu reflects the correct context. Move allocate_boxes() out of uncore_box_ref() to enable this reordering.
