  • Oct 6, 2026ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library.CVE-2026-106115 · Other software · SixLabors · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 2.1.0 until 4.1.2, the TIFF CCITT Group 4 encoder allocates Width times rowsPerStrip bytes even though T6BitCompressor.CompressStrip can emit encoded row data and two 12-bit end-of-facsimile-block codes beyond that capacity. TiffCcittCompressor.WriteCode performs unchecked writes, and a decode-and-re-encode flow can inherit TiffCompression.CcittGroup4Fax and one-bit metadata from attacker-supplied input. The resulting out-of-bounds writes can corrupt memory and terminate the process. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2.

  • Oct 6, 2026ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library.CVE-2026-106114 · Other software · SixLabors · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 1.0.0-beta0001 until 4.1.2, ICC CLUT parsing calculates allocation sizes from attacker-declared channel and grid dimensions before confirming that the profile contains the declared values. IccDataReader.ReadClutF32 can request a large float array, and earlier public IccProfile.Entries parsing paths can allocate a large jagged representation, from a short truncated profile. In version 4, automatic image conversion reaches the parser when DecoderOptions.ColorProfileHandling is Convert; the default Preserve mode avoids that conversion path. The demonstrated impact is memory pressure and input-validation failure, not unhandled process termination. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2.

  • Oct 6, 2026ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library.CVE-2026-106113 · Other software · SixLabors · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 2.0.0 until 4.1.2, decoding an attacker-supplied 32-bit floating-point TIFF as Image<HalfVector4> and applying HistogramEqualization can produce a non-finite or out-of-range luminance in ColorNumerics.GetBT709Luminance. GrayscaleLevelsRowOperation.Invoke uses the resulting value as an unchecked histogram offset, causing an unsafe out-of-range access and process termination. Adaptive Histogram Equalization and AutoLevel are not affected by this report. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2.

  • Oct 6, 2026ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library.CVE-2026-106112 · Other software · SixLabors · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 4.0.0 until 4.1.2, ICC LUT16 conversion accepts more than four output channels even though ClutCalculator.Calculate and LutEntryCalculator.CalculateLut store intermediate and output values in Vector4. When DecoderOptions.ColorProfileHandling is set to Convert, a malformed embedded profile can direct interpolation and output-LUT operations to write one float per declared channel beyond the four-float destination. This can corrupt memory and terminate the process; the default Preserve mode does not run ICC conversion. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2.

  • Oct 6, 2026ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library.CVE-2026-106111 · Other software · SixLabors · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 4.0.0 until 4.1.2, ExrBaseDecompressor.UndoZipCompression accepts a nonempty ZIP or ZIPS inflate result that is shorter than the EXR block's required size. ZipExrCompression.Decompress reconstructs the returned prefix while ExrDecoderCore processes the full expected block from a buffer obtained through Configuration.Default, allowing bytes retained from a completed prior ImageSharp operation to appear in decoded pixels. Applications that expose pixels or output from the later attacker-controlled EXR decode can disclose process-local image data. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2.

ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 2.0.0 until 4.1.2, the TIFF CCITT Group 3 encoder allocates an undersized compressed-data buffer for narrow 1-bit images. TiffCcittCompressor.Initialize does not reserve enough space for the row data and T4 end-of-line codes, and T4BitCompressor.CompressStrip reaches unchecked writes when TiffCompression.CcittGroup3Fax is selected directly or inherited from decoded TIFF metadata. An attacker-controlled encode or decode-and-re-encode flow can write beyond the logical output span, corrupt process memory, and terminate the process. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2.

  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: p54: validate curve data length in the calibration curve converters p54_convert_rev0CVE-2026-98188 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: p54: validate curve data length in the calibration curve converters p54_convert_rev0() and p54_convert_rev1() read calibration curve data from the device-supplied EEPROM entry using channel and points-per-channel counts taken verbatim from that same entry, so an entry that declares more data than it carries drives an out-of-bounds read past the EEPROM buffer (verified with a KASAN reproducer of the conversion loop). The sibling converters p54_convert_output_limits() and p54_convert_db() already validate their counts against the entry length; this path was missed. Reject the entry when the counts do not fit in the entry data.

  • Oct 5, 2026adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js.CVE-2026-102282 · Other software · cthackers · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js. Prior to 0.6.1, adm-zip applies the Unix permission bits stored in a zip entry directly to the extracted file via `fs.chmodSync()` when `keepOriginalPermission=true` is passed to `extractAllTo()`/`extractEntryTo()` — and it never filters the setuid/setgid/sticky bits out of those bits. A zip crafted by an attacker can therefore produce an extracted binary with mode `04755`. When extraction runs as root (the default posture in Docker builds, CI runners, and privileged install steps — the exact environments where this flag is used), the resulting root-owned setuid file is executed later by a lesser-privileged user, turning the attacker's code into a root execution. Version 0.6.1 fixes the issue.

  • Oct 2, 2026Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch in the C++ and D libraries of Apache Thrift.CVE-2026-85088 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.9

Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch in the C++ and D libraries of Apache Thrift. Both libraries install a default access manager for client sockets — TSSLSocketFactory does so in C++, and the accessManager property does so in D — which compares the peer certificate against the host name that was connected to. That comparison walks the subjectAltName dNSName entries first and consults the certificate Common Name afterwards. A name that does not match yields a "skip" result rather than a rejection, so a certificate whose subjectAltName entries are all present and all non-matching falls through to the Common Name, which can then satisfy the check. RFC 6125 section 6.4.4, and RFC 9525 section 2, require that the Common Name is not consulted when a dNSName subjectAltName is present. A certificate carrying subjectAltName entries for one name and a Common Name for another is therefore accepted for a connection to the second name. Exploitation requires an attacker positioned on the network path who holds a certificate that chains to a certificate authority in the client's trust store and whose Common Name matches the connected host name. • Oct 1, 2026stream-json is a micro-library of stream components for processing JSON and JSONC with a minimal memory footprint.CVE-2026-104183 · Other software · uhop · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

stream-json is a micro-library of stream components for processing JSON and JSONC with a minimal memory footprint. Prior to 3.6.0, Assembler materializes object properties with plain assignment, so an input key named __proto__ invokes the inherited setter and causes parsed object prototype replacement instead of creating an own data property. Applications that make authorization or feature decisions from inherited values can therefore consume attacker-controlled properties, and a null prototype can disrupt code that expects Object.prototype methods. The researcher treats parsing untrusted JSON as part of the project contract, while the maintainer states that documented inputs are locally owned dumps, exports, or logs and characterizes the attack vector as local. The global Object.prototype is not polluted. This issue is fixed in version 3.6.0.

stream-json is a micro-library of stream components for processing JSON and JSONC with a minimal memory footprint. Prior to 3.6.0, the JSONC parser at stream-json/jsonc/parser.js and verifier at stream-json/jsonc/verifier.js restart comment-terminator scanning from the opening slash whenever a block or line comment spans an input chunk, while retaining the accumulated comment buffer. Delivering a large valid comment across many small chunks therefore causes quadratic CPU work and can stall the Node.js event loop. The maintainer characterizes the attack vector as local because the documented JSONC input is locally owned or user-controlled configuration, rather than input intended for the open internet. This JSONC-only scope does not include the plain JSON parser, which advances through and discards consumed string and number data. This issue is fixed in version 3.6.0.

  • Oct 1, 2026NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox.CVE-2026-55251 · Other software · netbox-community · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. Prior to commit f41fc1e, the CI workflow .github/workflows/validation.yml runs on pull_request and executes code supplied by the pull request before any maintainer review. Three PR-editable files drive this: "requirements.txt", ".pre-commit-hooks-config.yaml" / ".pre-commit-yamlfmt-config.yaml", and ".gitmodules". A contributor with no special repository access could open a pull request that modifies these files and have their code run on the CI runner. This issue has been patched via commit f41fc1e.

  • Oct 1, 2026KaTeX is a fast, easy-to-use JavaScript library for TeX math rendering on the web.CVE-2026-103923 · Other software · KaTeX · reported by GitHubLow 2.1

KaTeX is a fast, easy-to-use JavaScript library for TeX math rendering on the web. From 0.11.0 until 0.18.2, KaTeX uses ordinary JavaScript property access for the renderer options object, the trust setting, default and processor setting metadata, and namespace lookup and group restoration, allowing inherited properties to be treated as explicitly supplied values. When Object.prototype is already polluted or an attacker controls the options object's prototype, attacker-controlled mathematical expressions can use an inherited trust value to enable trusted rendering and produce links capable of user-interaction cross-site scripting or loading attacker-selected external resources in a consuming application that inserts unsanitized KaTeX output into a page. KaTeX does not itself create the prototype pollution, and rendering an expression alone does not execute script. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.2.

  • Oct 1, 2026geopy is a geocoding library for Python.CVE-2026-77387 · Other software · geopy · reported by GitHubMedium 4

geopy is a geocoding library for Python. Prior to 2.5.0, geopy.Point and Point.from_string() can spend excessive CPU time due to inefficient regular-expression behavior when an application passes a long malformed coordinate string without the 256-character input limit used by the fix. Geocoder reverse methods also reach the vulnerable parsing path when called with string inputs. Repeated attacker-controlled requests can cause a denial of service, while the numeric Point constructor is unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0.

Sharp (and Toshiba Tec rebranded) multifunction printers contain an unauthenticated local file inclusion vulnerability that allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by manipulating the path parameter in the installed_emanual_down.html endpoint. Attackers can supply directory traversal sequences such as path=/manual/../../../<path> to access files outside the intended manual directory, including /etc/passwd, coredump files containing credentials, and system configuration files. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-07-30.
